I watched youtubers comment on it (Austin John and Arlo) who explained that some people found that there was a diamond and pearl subdomain that was created few days ago, but then taken down again. I guess that's where the rumour originates. There have been no confirmed sorced so far, but it's speculated that it will be revealed in february for 25 years anniversary. Or something.
Sometimes these domain leaks have been right. If I recall correctly, Sword and Shield leaked exactly that way. On the other hand, Waluigi's Hot Dog Stand was a Nintendo domain also for a while, but still no Waluigi game.
Right now I'm waiting for the Katy Perry Pokemon song more that DP announcement.
As a guy who does nuzlockes on his twitch streams, I defs wanna scream Platinum for this one. Scratches the urge to replay gen 4 + you get banger pokemon and a bangin' champion
Well they are remakes so there's bounds to be differences, also means you can potentially appreciate their changes to what goes down and see how it improves, like playing Gold/Silver/Crystal before Heart Gold/Soul Silver for example.
I will play not on emulator but 3DS, don't have tools to randomize on it.
Ok, i will do X, as I know this game the least. I think I only played through once completely. The second time I tried is still the current save file, have with 21 hours and 5 badges.
I am doing these common rules including the random starter. Will post first update after the first gym battle.
Maybe I should do Y then, if I can find it somewhere cheap. It's actually the only Gen I haven't played, so could be fun to go in completly blind with a nuzlocke.
A nuzlocke is tempting (I've never done it before), also don't know if I'll have the time but I'll try
I think we all are supposed to nuzlocke either X or Y, that is the same gen? I'll be playing on an emulator (Citra) if that's ok.
Also, is it "Game Over" if all your pokemon faint at any point of the run? Do we have to start over from the beginning?
^ Well, apparently that is the case.

Also, what does area mean? An single area of tall grass or well, the whole named area?
>took the boy

>Ustie's Rollout one shots

OK, hope I didn't break anything yet, but was doing the standard thing so far.
Game mode was on switching, not set, so it's always asking me if I want to switch Pokemon when opponent is bringing out new mon. I don't know what the rules here are. Also, what about Exp. Share?
1 - Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released or put in the Pokémon Storage System permanently (or may be transferred to another game, as long as the Pokémon is never able to be used again during this run).
2 - The player may only catch the first wild Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first wild Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. If the first encounter in the area is a double battle, the player is free to choose which of the two wild Pokémon they would like to catch but may only catch one of them. This restriction does not apply to Pokémon able to be captured during static encounters, nor to Shiny Pokémon.
3 - The player must nickname all of their Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds.
4 - The player may only use Pokémon they have captured themselves, meaning Pokémon acquired through trading, Mystery Gifts, etc., are prohibited. As for trading and retrading the same Pokémon (for the purpose of evolving a Graveler, for example), there is no firm consensus. As of White: Hard-Mode Episode it is implied that the player can accept Pokémon that are received freely from NPCs.
6 - The player may not voluntarily reset and reload the game whenever things go wrong. Being able to do so would render all of the other rules pointless.
7 - The player's Starter Pokémon must be randomly chosen. A common system is if the last digit of the player's Trainer ID number is 1-3, the player must choose the Grass-type starter; if it is 4-6, the Fire-type starter; if it is 7-9, the Water-type starter; if it is 0, free choice. Alternatively, use the Trainer ID modulo 3 for the same purposes.
These are the common nuzlocke rules I'm following (with the starter rule being an increased difficulty optional one) which I believe Evil is following as well. I just started though picked my starter which turned out to be a Chespin based on the digit ruleand I named it xi0.
Well, if we have to pick a Kanto starter then we can do it on basis of trainer card number just like we did with our first starter except this time we can pick on basis of the first digit of the Trainer ID maybe? 1-3 = Grass, 4-6 = Fire, 7-9 = Water, apply here in the same way they do for the last digit.

Since you're playing with it on already maybe we can just play the game with it on? Did you actually switch at any point though? If not then we can just play with the battle mode changed to set.
I don't. I stick to the official games. Just never liked playing ROM hacks. They tend to be too weird for me Though the last time I played a hack was a long time ago. I haven't tried the hacks that might've gotten released recently.

Oh boy, it's over for me already. I forgot to name the pokemon I caught.
Encountered a Pidgey in a patch before I could get pokeballs. Well, couldn't catch a pokemon in that area after that according to the rules. And then came across a Scatterbug in the forest following that area and forgot to name it.

Sure, why not. If you're playing some with altered storyline, no one is gonna know what you're up to though, so better explain it then.

Are we gonna allow gifted Pokemon? I think I get to choose a Kanto starter soon, but it's kinda cheap, or?
