So far no big loses. I am quite unlucky with encounters so try to not lose a team member, but both Mailboy and Knightmare in bench at least give me some small safety net for errors.

I'm itching to play. I still have the highest bid on a copy of X, but mean while I'm starting a half-assed run on Soul Silver.

- ID number ended in 8 -> Totodile named Herm joined the party.
- Made way to Mr. Pokemon and back. Named the rival Silver, because I'm such a bore.
- Got Pokeballs. Caught a Pidgey named Pulu.
- Visited the routes on the way and Dark Cave up, caught Spearow named Spede, Weedle named Stigi and Zubat named Bruce.
- Arrived at Violet City

Yeah, it might be better to start up leveling Spede. Pulus Defense isn't higher enough to take that Roll Out anyways, so might just be more beneficial to focus on better attack.

It was pretty pre-mature me of to worry about Whitney.

- Hammas, lvl 2 Rattata, joined at Bell Tower. No probs at the tower.
- Herm at lvl 13 and Spede at 11, I went to take on Falkner
- Herm took a little damage, but easily took out Falkners Pidgey.
- Me, an idiot, didn't heal Herm instantly, and Falkners Pidegeotto took out Herm with a crit Gust.
- Knowing I was screwed, I threw out Hammas and Stigi in the hopes of they could get some status moves in before dying. Nope.
- It was up to Spede, Pulu and Bruce. Spede fought the most valiantly, but Pideotto kept roosting and I ran out of potions.

GAME OVER.
