BC: Not reading.

OP: Phew. This chapter avoided the worst bullcrap, thank Oda. Good action, nice death scene, Luffy being Luffy as always. Hope they kick the emperors butts next chapter for good!

JjK: No action, I miss the action...

MHA: We're Outlaw World now~~~ Honestly, if things are this bad it makes me wonder why we got Superheroes but no SuperSoldiers considering most humans have quirks by now and only a tiny part of humanity got none and are still "good old boring normal humans". Like right now an army of quirk using soldiers with special soldier equipment would be great to support the Heroes. Right now society is pretty much breaking up into "tribes" aka neighborhoods who gather together to protect themselves with the remains of the government as the biggest tribe trying to get as many people as possible into their shelters. Deku's role in all this gonna be good to watch for sure.

Magu: Magu cute. Ruru, girl, sweetie, I love you, but learn not to be so trusting to everyone okay?

TES: Nice move, boy. Also eyes can sweat and secret stomach acid??? o.O

M&R:
Best BC chapter right there! I know I only read up to chapter 20 or 22 but hands down best BC chapter ever. Roboco super talented! xD

WW: So we're going Familiar harem? Okay. How many can one romance-desperate witch have?

MYF: Two more done, kay~

itc: You know, the mangaka should have done this from the start. Have the young brother meet the chief first and be asked if he wants to join the cops or his big brother. Obviously he chose the latter and ends in a division like which was made here. Not on the official records but it exists and works outside the law. Boom, all problems from the start solved or at least the legal ones at least. Doubt if this will be enough for it to survive though.

MMM: Mash chills and shakes his protein. Also finger games.

NDBP: Good dad, nice solution to getting their clean-up batter. Onto the next one. Loved Karin missing the ball in that training page, lol. New guy seems like pretty boy Fujos would love to ship with some tough guy. But that boy got some mouth on him, lol, no wonder he got thrown outta all the teams before. He's right though, this clearly was an out, I mean, the foot was still in the air, the ball wasn't, this was a mistake of the umpire.

HSF: Dad being scouted, I mean kidnapped, really what is the difference nowadays?

SD: Good damn chapter. New dumb hungry poor Assassin with bird is great! Those 4 headshots were cool as was the ending doublepage spread! Stop letting Lu have alcohol for christ sake! XDDD

UU: Lol, that "punishment" was more hurtful to Shen than it was to Mui. Same with Andy and Fuuko being like "what are they doing?". Also has he been teaching her chinese? Because she answered in chinese but when he said something in his mother language she was confused. After Autumn I am curious to see Summer as well. I bet he gonna be the bomb!

HBC&D: Nice fight scenes and a flashback already? Doesn't seem it will end in a couple chapters if they can layback for a flashback at this point of the story. Maybe with PS, BK and itc ending before it, it might survive the first axe round?

AT: Rochka a cuuuuuuuuuuute. And I am glad her friend seems to be a real friend, albeit one with a short temper. Then again she also got a short one. Loved their "Playtime is over!" declaration followed by a snowball challenge, so adorable. <3
Also uuuufff! That angle on Suzu, dear lord almighty in heaven, have mercy on my poor sinful eyes tainting my soul! o.o

BK:
I think we jumped like bronze and silver here. Also new tool concept which sounds nice but in the end, it's all about fighting and not building. What a shame. The World building could have been huge and interesting on this one.

PS: Hm, so this is ending for real? Sure doesn't feel like it. Well, whatever. It was a okay chapter.

Feels like you getting a bit too ahead with things, i tell c isn't even ranking bad in order to be in danger of cancelation, Build King ending with 20 or less than 20 chapters don't really make sense for obvious reasons unless Nakano really gone mad, unfortunately C&D is almost a certain ending with PS and who knows, they can just end Kokosei at any moment since there's no story.

This week's top 5:
1. Magu-chan: God of Destruction - Cute Magu-chan is cute lol. Watching Muscar become the straight-man character was a nice and unexpected touch. Magu-chan is so overpowered that even he can defy fate at the end of the day lol.
2. Mission: Yozakura Family - Another solid chapter. Getting a little bit more insight into Kengo's character was nice since he seemed like the least-shown sibling before this, and he looked super cool. Shion's power was cool as well, although Kengo was the star this time around since she got more focus last chapter. I'm so pumped for next week's chapter.
3. Sakamoto Days - Best chapter in quite awhile. This new character seems like a really funny addition to the cast, similar to how I felt when Lu was introduced. Honestly, I've enjoyed most of the supporting characters that have been introduced, so I hope they'll get to reappear down the road.
4. I Tell C - I'm very curious to see how the reception for this chapter is going to be. I'm hoping it'll be decent since it has been my favorite series of this batch, but I still think this is majorly in U19 territory. In the meantime, I'm hoping I'll get to enjoy a Double Taisei-styled zany story.
5. Ayakashi Triangle - I'm really enjoying this new character. She seems like a fun addition to the cast, and seeing Suzu's growth in her abilities and confidence has been a positive development as well.

The best of the rest:
6. High School Family: Kokosei Kazoku - Decently funny chapter this week. The father really carries the series, and the misunderstandings surrounding who he is by basically everyone in the series are all pretty good.
7. Witch Watch - The core misunderstanding was kind of funny, but I didn't care too much for the new character's introduction. Hopefully he'll be able to add something interesting to the story since I still feel like it's missing something.
8. Undead Unluck - Another chapter where nothing much happened. I miss the chapters that focused more on Fuuko and Andy. Hopefully they'll finally be back to the main role in this arc.
9. Me & Roboco - This is probably the first Ruri-focused chapter that I didn't really enjoy, and that's mainly because it was being dominated by Roboco. The biggest problem with this series is that Roboco is usually the least-funny character in every chapter. The side characters really support the series.
10. Mashle - Except for a couple sentences, the chapter was a complete throwaway. A lot of those pages in the middle were completely pointless and just there to take up space. At this point, I'm expecting more from a series like Mashle.
11. Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin - Probably my favorite chapter in a few months. Kind of curious to learn about the backstory for the characters though.

Will this Witch Watch chapter become a reverse Harem ?

It will be interesting to see other monster boys interested in the little witch.

Also, Phantom Seer is trending in Japan
Im actually surprised JPN fans dont just mobilize as one and just get all behind a series each serialization round and game the system, they seem to respond a little too late here, could totally play the ranking like they do pop polls or how americans do memestonks.

I already said. It's just my opinion.
As comedy, agravity was fun and cool. But as a syfy he was weak.

There is no need for this discussion, the manga has already been canceled.
FYI, you keep saying "he" to refer to a manga instead of "it", It throws me off every time I read it and idk if you know it's wrong, so I thought I'd just say :)

For all of his genuine problems, that one that honestly is not a big deal and is a rather unfair criticism. It's something that is very common with esl speakers where nouns are gendered in many non-English languages.
Also, I believe he simply runs his native language through Google translate so it's something he probably isn't even aware of.

Yozakura #8, Undead #6, Mashle #6, Phantom Seer #3 and i tell c #1, if im not wrong The Elusive Samurai was supposed to be released too but isnt listed anymore.

Btw, i think this will be the first time Yozakura will be the oldest series between the releases, i expect to see the cover in a good size on the page advertisement :hee

About TPN S2. Found it on ANN forum.

For clarification: S1 only managed to sell 1k with its DVD/BR sales. This is nothing short of a bomb, especially considering the scale of the first season's production. You'd bring up manga boost as a counter argument, but those only go to the author and the publisher. The studio and the committee got nothing out of it, it was clear that the next season will gain no profit, no matter what it will be.

Judging by the date, it was way too deep into production by the time manga came to an end to just axe it, so the committee ordered the staff (Shirai was probably called in by them to make it happen) to cram the rest of the manga in to maximise the range of promotion (the original pre-COVID air date was not too far from the final volume).

And then it had to be moved towards two other shows the studio was busy with, which in turn divided the time left to animate the thing by three (one of the animators being forced to complete the work that required three weeks in FIVE DAYS). And sure enough, the end result finally crumbled by the finale.

But still, between all the rush job, you can see the directors, voice actors try to make something out of it. Even the slide show has decent moments of conveying the completion of the character's journey (stuff within the demon world notwithstanding). I really think this was less about being lazy and more about working within an awful time and end goal conditions, the end result (the stillshow, in particular) comes up not nearly as shocking anymore.

Tldr, it was doomed from the start.

There are several Jump adaption that sell <1000 Blu ray DVDs (Dr Stone, Food War off the top of my head) with several anime seasons
Typically they make up for it other ways, such as an ongoing manga to promote.
Neverland no longer had a manga.

And when looking at some series, like MHA, One Piece, etc. they’re entire full force juggernaut franchises, in which the anime promotes the manga, merch, video games, movies etc.

And iirc, I think it was discussed itt before that overseas streaming is huge for Food Wars, which contributes a lot to its success

I mean, TPN's production in the first season was a lot more expensive, and these shows required not nearly as much to adapt it faithfully going forward. Plus, two of those still had an ongoing manga.
