m3j, i believe you gonna improve . The fun is in participating not winning. Sadly consolation bracket was less active than the winner bracket but i can't blame people for losing motivation when they didn't make it to winner bracket.

Whew been busy since fantasy ended, didn't have time to make a proper post.

Thanks everyone for playing fantasy. that was definitely interesting and made me more engaged when following the regular season. I hope ya'll gonna be back next season.

Congratz @Hardy and @Belserion. That final was interesting. It's a shame that many players rested last week, it kinda added too many hazards. I'm planning to finish 2 weeks before the playoff next year. I like how hardy got actively involved in trades and made the wheel spin. Hope more people get involved in trading next season.

Yep, sorry I'm only replying now but it's also been a busy month for me.

Congratulations to @Hardy for winning the league; it was a lot of fun all in all and I'm hoping we do it again for next season. I hope you enjoy your shiny new badge!

I think everyone will be better next time around. Should we try to advertise it forum-wide next season or just keep it small? Any feedback you all have would be great, so we can improve for next season.

@scav I agree, we definitely need to look into finishing sooner, as rested playoff players sorta hit a few people hard. Some were losing 2-3 players on average every night due to teams resting them.

Other than that, how's everyone enjoying the playoffs so far? the only match I had time to watch was Heat v Bucks and that was entertaining, I've heard all the games so far have been a real battle.

I've been busy with finishing off Uni work but I've watched a couple of the games so far that I've had access to, like the Nuggets v Portland games. What I have watched have been pretty good so hopefully that continues. Currently I've got Utah, Lakers, Nuggets and Dallas winning Round 1 in the west, and Nets, Hawks, Bucks and Philly in the east.

I've been busy with finishing off Uni work but I've watched a couple of the games so far that I've had access to, like the Nuggets v Portland games. What I have watched have been pretty good so hopefully that continues. Currently I've got Utah, Lakers, Nuggets and Dallas winning Round 1 in the west, and Nets, Hawks, Bucks and Philly in the east.

I think Utah will be too much for Jazz in the end, so they're my pick out of that match up. For the Lakers, it'll depend on Chris Paul's injury. If he's fully fit, then I fancy them against the Lakers as the Lakers rosters just aren't doing it. I'm tired of Kuzma.

Nuggets and Blazers is close but I'm really hoping the Blazers come through. Not because I don't like the Nuggets but I want to see more of Dame and Melo in the playoffs. And fuck the Clippers and their team of "dogs"; Luka is playing tonight so hoping they can go 3-1 up.

As for the East, it's much easier there with the current matchups; Sixers, Hawks and Nets should all pull through without too much of an issue in the end. I'm loving the beef between Trae and the Knicks fans though

Luka is gonna cook up another 30 piece at least, and I'm gonna enjoy watching every second of it

Clicks matter, Lakers going out in the first round draws lots of attention because if fit you wouldn't expect that. Props to the Suns though, Booker, Ayton and the role players showed up and were able to seize the opportunity against injured LeBron and Anthony Davis. Throw in Vogel's shit coaching and most of the Lakers' players being raw ass through complacency and it's a disaster for my boys And yes, Chris Paul also wasn't 100% but I think the Lakers injuries far outweigh that. Still gotta put all that aside though and say well done to the sons. Denver in 6.

This is one thing about sports pages that I hate; the focus on the losing team. Sure, make the post about that incredible LeBron stat but fucking hell, Book has been pure flames this series and capped it off with 47pt. The only post I saw about him was on the back of a LeBron post.

I'm happy for the Suns and Book; I hope they go far in this playoffs. Heck, I hope they win it all. Now like you said, for Mavs to send Clippers home and the tounrmanent is perfect.

They need a new coach, Nurkic has to go and I agree that they probably trade CJ and some assets for a better star to help Dame otherwise while I know he loves Portland and is dedicated, at some point there may be a straw that breaks the camel's back and he'll want out to a place where he can legitimately win a championship.
