I agree here, but I don't see any sort of relationship either way. Or even Maria being very interested in Baam. It'll be ridiculously redundant.

• We already have a Khun Princess that's actively interested in Baam.
  • She's been invested in Baam since at least the Name Hunt Station, and potentially way further back.
• Maria is working under/for/with said Princess.
• Maria has a relationship/story with AA that needs to be explored.
  • Maschenny sent Asensio to bring AA to her. If Maria is the female minion, then they very well could meet at the Nest.
• Maria is an ordinary Regular, while the Princess interested in Baam is an Elite High Ranker.
• Given current events, Maria is unlikely to directly interact with Baam while Maschenny has forced him to come to her.

I don't understand what Maria being interested in Baam could possibly do for the story.

She's unlikely to interact with Baam in any meaningful capacity (either at the Nest or later on).

It's bad enough that Maschenny is already very interested in Baam, but Maria being under Maschenny's wings just makes it more implausible. She's not independent enough that she would be someone interesting to see develop feelings for Baam. If we get a Maria and Baam meeting, it'll probably be because Maschenny sent her, so she'll just be a Maschenny proxy.

She doesn't need to develop an interest in Baam to join his cause or assist him (assuming she's in a position to do that) Maschenny's own investment in Baam will bring all her resources to his side.


And even if Maria was actually interested in Baam, she'd never act on it because she wouldn't want to risk crossing Maschenny in that manner.


This development does absolutely nothing for the story.

You're underestimating how far SIU will go to make Aguero as miserable as humanly possible. Baam and Maria meeting and having a thing for one another is about the cruelest thing that one can do to him.

You know what? I would enjoy this much like you if it only makes AA fans mad.
