Only reason i didn't give Ishtar points is because I felt the things that made her different from OG Rin wasn't really that impressive. I do enjoy her interactions with Enkidu, and the useless goddess meme.

Tamamo is great, she's a literal goddess lol. I just wish we got to see more of her other tails...

Achilles is a servant that I honestly wasn't much interested until I randomly got him. He ended being pretty cool to use, but I kind of feel his personality is generic.

Medusa is one of those servants who, because she was an early one, doesn't get much love. She does get to basically be a named NPC during events, but nothing really special. Seems like she gets overshadowed by her Gorgon and Lily versions. Love her relationship with her sisters. Also, desperately need her with a kunoichi costume!

Zenobia 10/10 artwork. One of the few servants who put on more clothes as you advance them.

And Scathach, someone who I really only knew due to her relationship with Cu and Medb. She's cool, but despite being the center of one event, she didn't seem to do all that much.

Scathach-Skadi is just Scathach fused with the power of the Norse goddess Skadi. Different personality and abilities.

Medusa is awesome The only thing that made me hesitate to put her on my list is because with Medusa you sort of have to pick "which one". Ultimately I went with the iconic adult Medusa Rider. She's a sort of mature and serious character but has this insecure side that makes her very likable and appealing. Which only multiplies in FGO when you meet her sisters and see their dynamic.

Achillies didn't make my list but I thought about it for quite a while. Mainly because I feel like he's one of those characters where they did such a great job weaving the mythology into the character in Apocrypha. For those who maybe aren't as familiar the story of Achillies hinnges largely on his own pride and arrogance leading to the death of his cousin Patroclus by Hector. Who dresses up as him and leads his men when he refuses to fight because a general offends him. This ultimately leads to Hecktor's death at his hands, and his own death at the hands of Paris.

Now where I think Fate has done a great job is that Achillies is very much defined by that regret over that moment of selfishness. As seen in Apocrypha when he gives everything to try and save Atalanta from her madness. If you know that legend well he's a character whose determination to protect someone emotionally lands with impact.

Scathach is great. She's another one of those underutilized characters. Her highly entertaining Kuudere personality is fun but she's in the top 3 "If you were a master you'd want to summon this servant" servants too. Sadly my one character of each type rule locked her out of my list though..

I don't want to look for Astolfo pics ever again.... shudder. I better don't tell you the things I saw.
Anyway, is there anyone who doesn't know Astolfo? A true otaku meme at this point, and maybe the most famous femboy in the last 10 years. Personality-wise he's pretty fun. A little mischievous, but also good-natured and kind, not to mention very open about a lot of things lol. Just how most like their femboys, I guess. I find him quite alright, but he's also a bit too on the nose for me

The better Rinface : D While Ishtar is more on the tsun side, Eresh clearly embraces the dere. She's 100% sugar and adorable, even when she tries to be all serious As the ruler of the underworld, she's actually quite lonely and wants nothing more than friends around her. In short she's a good soul, and her design's great as well. Don't think anyone could possibly dislike this girl, she always brings a smile to your face. The only thing that holds her back for me is the fact that she is indeed 100% sugar, but that's mostly it. She can also be badass ofc, but she's been pretty much ignored in the story since Babylonia, so that doesn't help.

Nobu nobu~ When it comes down to it, I'm more of an Okita boy, but I can't deny that Nobunaga is great too. Awesome power, pure badassery, and just so much fun. She can also be high-class comedy gold whenever she wants to. When she or Okita appear, you just know it's gonna be good one way or another.



Is she be the best otaku media Oda Nobunaga in existence? Probably.

With that being said, she also a great design. And not just one, she got multiple, and they all look awesome. I mean, just look at her Avenger self and tell me it isn't both hot and badass.

If there's one thing I dislike a bit, is that she's too often comedy in FGO, but with Fate/Type Redline that got solved. The artist really knows how to bring out her best, and damn she's not fu***** around. Absolutely merciless, despite her often playful attitude. You don't wanna get on her bad side, that's for sure.

Eresh. A character so cute I thought there was a legit chance she'd unseat Rin. I'm team Ishtar but only by the slightest of margins.

Nobu didn't quite make my top 10 but she's easily top 20. Unlike Nii I put her over Okita. Because she's just so fun. Started as FGO meme and her Guda Guda meta and 4th wall breaking antics are great. Got sort of legitimized in Redline, which I bounced off of (too many Japanese servants packed together), not sure how I feel about that. But in FGO she's a highlight.

Allow me to refresh your memory. Astolfo is a mix of childish and playful. This is because SHE is insane but also possessing of a childlike innocence along with HER qualities as a knight. SHE actually has multiple Noble Phantasms too. HER hippogryph, HER horn, and HER spear, and HER book ( Casseur de Logistille) All gained through her many adventures.

Along which SHE's renown for failing many times and losing in a lot of ways but where Astolpho is second to none is that SHE doesn't loose heart. An eternal optimist totally devoid of common sense who does what SHE feels is right in the moment with no concern for anything else. That's Astolpho!

Hating Astolpho is inconceivable to me.

There are a LOT of great Fate servants. And I don't feel particularly good about it. Like Nobu she'd have been top 20 for sure. I can't put her in top 10. I mean, I guess I could have cut Blackbeard to fit her in but I really do enjoy a despicable pervert like him get hilariously smacked around by all the servants 1000x stronger than him he's harassing. That's good comedy.

Astolfo is terrible. He is not even that cute and the trap jokes weren't funny. If the delivery is bad there you already fail as a trap character. You will never forget someone like Rukako because the "Daka otoka da" is funny and he is also actually cute. Hideyoshi from BakaTest is also a good trap character but when I think of AstoIfo I remember someone who was kinda nonchalant but took a liking to Sieg and was insufferable from the beginning to the end.

Dealing with the trio of Sieg, Astolfo and Jeanne was really something... Mordred and Shishigou should have been the MCs .
