Finally got to see Kaguya-sama movie and then "Oshi no Ko" premiere this week, I was feasting.

"Oshi no Ko"
Phenomenal premiere and Yoasobi music video(14+ million views) was the icing on the cake.

Kiruko's backstory was brutal and mystery gets more intriguing. Also, faceless babies?!

The Reason why Raeliana ended up at the Duke's Mansion- Isn't a complete anime season without an honorary villainess show Raeliana is great.

Oshi no Ko- Hm feel like the episode should have been split into 5 or so episodes, the impact of Ai's death felt a bit too sudden at the end of the hour mark. Solid adaptation though.

Oshi no Ko- Hm feel like the episode should have been split into 5 or so episodes, the impact of Ai's death felt a bit too sudden at the end of the hour mark. Solid adaptation though.

Honestly i much prefer it this way, it's likely if it been split into multiple episodes, it could been dismissed as an other idol anime
After all what they shown was just the prologue, so fitting it in a first episode marketing wise was better, it a way better hook especially for those that only check the first few episodes
Plus if it was 5, it could ended in an awkward spot as they going for 11 episodes

It has 10 episodes, so that should be enough to make it eligible.

After all what they shown was just the prologue, so fitting it in a first episode marketing wise was better, it a way better hook especially for those that only check the first few episodes

Heh, maybe so.
I feel like the pace was slower in the manga, like we got to enjoy her as a character so much, even thinking she is the main character (Only for that brutal ending), which is something an hour's worth of an episode kinda doesn't capture faithfully.
Though you are right about the marketing angle. Damn capitalists

NB I dont get why I read everywhere people calling it shojo bc its a SoL/romance likely ?, but the manga is published in a seinen mag ( same as Vinland saga) Insomniacs after school too, is a seinen )

Oshi no Ko - I feel like I'm not as in love with this show as others but it's holding my attention so far. Which is enough to make my top 3 right now.
Mahoutsukai no Yome - This I AM loving. This is pretty much a Hogwarts arc with a nice dose of mystery mixed in and I'm super into it.
Yamada-kun - A likeable group of weird characters. It's a good formula.
