I never confirmed or denied anything about Arlene vs Rachel, other than that I think Rachel is a butt ugly bitch both above and beneath her skin, as she's had more than ample opportunities to put on display throughout the webtoon. We know little about Baam's mother beyond what second hand sources claim her to be responsible for having done to his corpse.

I didn't say none of that. I said that coming from someone that thinks Rei is any good at his Job, it is offensive. Rachel happens to be the single most important antagonist of the story, without her ToG wouldn't exist. Baam would still be locked in a cave not knowing what is is to have friends.

Gustang has been forced to personally intervene against him twice now. The first time was a general failure (Traumerei secured Baam and brought him to the Lo Po Bia Mothership) and this one is still up in the air. Traumerei has yet to really even bother to acknowledge him. Meanwhile, Gustang had a few Lo Po Bia Rankers fall into his lap due to a plan conceived and carried out by other people and was able to deal accordingly with them. It's something, but not something overly consequential. Gustang sent Matte and Tiara in, and neither of them succeeded at doing much of anything beyond making noise. And we still have whatever Lobadon is up to out somewhere that hasn't been revealed.

So no, I don't think Traumerei is as completely inept as most of the room believes him to be. At worst, things are at a stalemate when most of the moves have been made by Gustang. He'll make his own move eventually. It might fail, it might succeed. We'll see.

nobody "forced" gustang to do jack. gustang had this all planned out. a FH attacking another family heads base is a big deal yet rei was too focused on losing in the Nest that he didn't see it coming. Khun tricked rei. a c rank regular tricked a FH. inept. Gustang sent matte and tiara with Khun and khun got gustang to Baam. gustang also killed Rei's top BH. making noise indeed, the noise of rei's family bursting into flames. I mean how many of Rei's people did Yas kill with the bomb? Rachel has a great plan, better than Rei's 1000 fold. Rei gave up everything for Baam, Rachel gave up Baam for everything. She actually outsmarted Khun, something Rei thinks he did.

she got 3 wishes to be granted by gustang. if she stuck with baam they would be on like the 30 floor or some sh!t. she nearly killed khun, something rei threatened to do. fact of the matter is, Rachel is a better tactician than Rei. Rei wants Baam soo much. what did that get him? gustang killing a good majority of his family. oh and gustang is about to take baam. but I am sure, this is all part of rei's master plan. giving his enemies everything they could ever want. brilliant. much brave...

Honestly, it's hard for me to believe that either Irregular is planning on taking Baam, and using him to kill the other. For Gustang especially it makes little sense,

• Baam can't access all those powers on command
  • And even with his Dark Change Mode, he may still lose to the likes of Kirin
• Baam wasn't being polite to Jinsung; he said that if he fought White now, the result will be different.
• SIU has had Baam admit inferiority to Cc tier fighters (Jinsung and White respectively) on two separate occasions since absorbing Leviathan
  • You can't just ignore that because it contradicts your headcanon of current Baam being super strong
• Current Baam simply isn't CC tier

I don't rule out that he could lose to Kirin, but you are arguing that he isn't the strongest person in the room.
1st, between thorn Baam and his all out version without berserker mode there is still an abyss, you are arguing that he can't do the things he could do at the last station ?
2nd, if the limiting factor is his willingness to lose control, kill his opponent, it should still be on the table when his friends are about to get killed in front of him
3rd, it's bold to assume any BH there is CC tier when Purdidy didn't exactly stomp Jinsung and he was the strongest one with WgW and Perseus.

And the 'cabal of losers' I mentioned was not FUG. I meant the 'Revolution' or whatever that fail boat has been christened. All we've seen of them so far is their one representative getting outplayed by the supposedly inept Traumerei.

Rachel made a devil's bargain with FUG in exhange for power. She is very capable of using people to get what she wants. she has done this to great effect.
If she had never betrayed Baam, Baam would have never entered FUG and certainly wouldn't have been even a fraction of what his potential is. and 100% wouldn't be a finger of what his current power level is. therefore, they wouldn't be anywhere near C rank areas and certainly wouldn't be taking on BRANCH HEADS.

FUG made a devil's bargain with Gustang in order to obtain an item that is capable of killing even an Admin. both benfit from this.
