Do most people even remember other mid rankers that was published alongside Dragonball and Slam dunk, frankly.
They keep literally getting remakes all the time. You have a pretty limited view of the manga industry if you think a Jump mid-ranker isn't still a popular work.

There is absolutely no way they announce an anime for mid ranker like Nue or bottom ranker like Kill Blue, while there is no anime for their hit like Kagurabachi? People's bias and hate are really showing here. That's why i call people delusional.
i think kagurabachi anime is secured to happen, but its too soon yet I think, manga is not even 60 chapters yet, but kill blue have a chance of having an anime because its getting its 2nd year anniversary next year

Yeah, just because Kagurabachi is popular doesn’t mean it should/will get an anime before others that are farther along. Next people will be arguing it should get one before Akane-banashi!

And to address the UU and MYF loss, of course it’s going to be a big loss for the magazine. Not only are 2 battle series on the way out, but after One Piece (and Hunter x Hunter if you want to count it), they are the second and third oldest series in the magazine right now. In previous years we’ve lamented the loss of veteran series, right? Even if UU and MYF are middle ranked in popularity, their absence will absolutely be felt.

Tbh I didn’t even think this was something people could argue about, in my head Nue and KGB were far enough away that they were in 2 different bubbles, where Nue (if it lived long enough to warrant an anime, which it seems like it can at this rate) would get one before KGB just off of seniority, nothing to do with sales or popularity or potential or any of that jargon.

Granted, looking at it closer and seeing the two aren’t even 20 chapters apart in length, it could probably go either way. But I think the matter of “who gets an anime first” and “who’s better/more popular/has more potential” are 2 entirely different things.

I will put forth for consideration the tried and true edict:
“Both Good”

If you would please consult the figures, the manga I like is good and will get a BONES adaptation at JF this year meanwhile the manga you like is bad and will take half a decade to be animated by GEMBA

No no, the manga you like will get an adaptation by Miyazaki himself and the manga I like will get an adaptation by Gohands because if there's anything I've learned last year is that Shueisha hates me specifically.

Kagurabachi has reached 1.300.000 copies in circulation with 5 volumes
Less than I expected, honestly.
Though I guess monthly reprints are good for publicity.
