Manga is something completely different than movies, not comparable at all, if a manga from X author completely flops, it's not because is some secret masterpiece ahead of its time that the public couldn't understand at that moment, it's because the author was unable to write a good story that could connect with the readers

I like all of these series, buuut
Illegal Rare is better and had more potential than Nurahiyon.
Shuudan is better and had more potential than Straighten Up!
Syd Craft was better and had more potential than We Never Learn
Opinions bro.
I am indifferent to somewhat disagree on that in the highlighted point. I do like Tsutsui’s writing and comedy with characters, but what hurt Syd Craft was Tsutsui not pushing themselves beyond their comfort zone and relying on what they did in their past success with We Never Learn. I do love Syd Craft for what it tried to do and being more tolerable than i tell c, however I still see its flaws for not going further as a detective mystery series.

Tell me one early axed Jump manga disliked at the time that is today acclaimed by general readers as some sort of misunderstood masterpiece.

At best the only example i could think is Double Arts but it was already loved since that time lol

Okay, you have to keep in mind a lot of western readers haven't read a lot of axed series due to the fact that many weren't translated all the way, or at all until rather recently.
I'm not good with kanji, but I can get through most series through the hiragana.
If more western readers had read Illegal Rare I feel that'd overwhelmingly be viewed as a very good series with crazy potential that should not have been cancelled.

However, I won't be surprised if when Harukawa comes back there may be readers who preferred Kaedegami, or Hayashi with Mamayuyu, or Amenmiya with Kinato.

Doesn't Rising Impact completely destroy this argument? It got axed early originally, which means the general consensus was "it's bad". Then people complained until it came back and it became a proper hit. If Rising Impact truly had no "potential" like the early axe said it didn't, it would have just flopped again after coming back. It literally was misunderstood originally and was looked better upon after the readers got a second chance.

Or Jumbor as well. It got axed in WSJ, rebooted in Ultra Jump and had a long life there.

It really returned just 10 issues after, it was not a case of later revisionism it was just a case of fans for whatever reason not showing their support until it got axed and flooded Jump with complains about it so it returned like 2/3 months after, i'm talking about mangas that were disliked, axed and years after started to get claimed as a misunderstood masterpiece.

Jumbor was just a passionate project for Takei that he was able to reboot in Ultra Jump, the volumes didn't even charted on Oricon

Actually, i just remembered one i really like.

Shudan by Takuma Yokota. Actually Yokota should definitely come back in the future now that all his manga either ended or ending.

When Harukawa comes back will readers who preferred Kaedegami be "objectively wrong"?

When Hayashi comes back will readers who preferred Mamayuyu be "objectively wrong"?

When Amenmiya comes back will readers who preferred Kinato be "objectively wrong"?

If Roku ends up successful will readers who preferred Agravity Boys be "objectively wrong"?

Absolutely. I had already mentioned it. One of my most beloved cancelled series that absolutely didn't deserve cancellation. Had the potential to be one of Jumps best spokons.

I’d like to see Tabata take a break but come back in a couple years. Never read hungry joker but people praise it so it’d be cool if he did a dogsred kind of thing but with a jump+ schedule. I know he’s had a rough few years though

What 10’s mangaka do you think would come back? I’d like to see horikoshi back for sure. Any axed series guys like genki ono you’d like to see back? I loved the art from zipman and golem hearts, would like to see the back one day.

Kubo is busy with the anime but has teased manga things, so do you guys think Kishimoto could come back? I know samurai 9 was a big blow to him but he might do better with a jump+ series.

For some reason I see him going to Jump+. I feel he'd fit well there schedule wise, especially if he continues to have multiple series at a time.

And who said you were "wrong" for liking one manga better than the other? Let's please not try to spin words to win a argument? The entire point of the conversation is about trying to argue/proof in a objective way these flops would be better or with more potential than a big acclaimed hit from the same author, you're free to enjoy more anything you want lol

Btw, just as expected, there's no case of a former disliked axed series that is now acclaimed for the general public as a great manga lol that's why i said manga seriazliation is completely different from finished movies.

Except you made the argument about "disliked axed series that became popular" when I was talking about "axed series that I felt had potential and enjoyed more than the mangakas more successful work". Many people gave you examples of axed series they enjoyed. Or axed series that they enjoyed more than a mangakas more popular work. You just wanted to shift the argument.
Unless you're referring to Hungry Joker, which I agreed was a bad series and deserved cancellation, just one that I felt had more potential than Black Clover, and had a better first 24 chapters, despite both not being very good during those 24 chapters

And bro, you were the one throwing around the word "objectively" unironically. I ain't spinning shit.

Maybe both?

How did he even make his manga interconnected to one another? The white haired kid from shudan is a minor character in his class monitor manga which is published by kodansha.
