Text leaker it always had, is the chapter pages & color pages that never had a specific leaker because they never cared for the series, but as you may have noticed since i became a Jump leaker Akane and all the other series color pages started to be posted early together

Still don't know if Class 2-B is actually that low or if Sorachi is being a lazy bum.

Two bottom 2 placements with a bottom 3 color page, it's simply that low lol

If it happened a little slower, or was only around the middle before like the first ranking, sure, but going from 3 top 5 placements in a row to 2nd last the next issue is a very extreme drop. Usually if people were just getting tired of it, it'd drop over a few chapters as people get bored at different rates. But it dropped on ch 5's ranking which was the chapter where the school got isekai'd. I can't imagine it's purely a coincidence.

Sadly I'm sure Kinato's already gotten the death sentence, but imagine the chaos if it somehow scraped by another batch with Drawn to the Fire and Class 2-B staying below and and getting cancelled first despite the colour pages (though that would explain why they shoved them right to 3rd last even with the colour).

Tbh I don't doubt these top top 3/4 placements were in part also Jump just not wanting to shove the series in the bottom so fast

"To Love-ru" & "Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs" will both have special chapters with color pages alongside special gifts published in the next Jump GIGA Summer Issue on August 17! Both series are celebrating their 20th & 10th anniversary!

I wonder if he’s aiming to reach chapter 2000 before he calls it, but that might be infeasible at the rate he’s going (not sure how close he is since looking up the current chapter count is being tricky).

Kochikame has around 1970 chapters right now, so Akimoto can easily reach that if he wants.

All color pages are pretty cool, specially Nue, love the angle and the ying yang, i get that Shitotsu waist proportion can look a bit off but besides that it looks great, curious to check the Kawaguchi one shot, cp looks really good actually.

See? And then you say the story didn't promise horror. But it seemed like a horror comedy as predicted, and so far it hasn't shown any horror at all.

Roku Cover & LCP.. Nakamura truly deserves this im so happy for him. Roku has been such a fun, charming and heartwarming series so far im glad its here to stay. Im so glad that Nakamura gets time with the series and that he can fully set up everything. Eventually the flashbacks of all the curses will break us.

Also yikes for Animal Signal debuting at 9. When was the last time a series first rank was 9 and it survived? iirc Kiyoshi & Shinobi both started at 8 so its not impossible but def not looking good. (Esp. since Kiyoshi got a Color Page for Ch9 and Shinobi for Ch8 meanwhile Animal Signal isn't...)

Issue 34 2026 (most series from 3rd and onwards are honestly pretty close, good week overall):

1. Nue's Exorcist: Kota Kawae might be the single boldest author in Jump currently. If he were in Magazine instead, he'd actualky be unstoppable. I am SO happy to see Shitotsu again, and boy she looks nice! People were crying out "They betrayed Gakuro!" But I always believed in my girls to pull through! Totsu telling Igari off, the #ShirohaDeathStare, Suo and Ishu storming in Urana's office, and of course, Tomonaki and Gekka doing whatever the hell they please, with crutches to booth! It was just not possible for Kawae to back out of this plotpoint, which was spelled out by Gakuro as the arc started.
Anyways, screw all that, YAGYO!! To say that this page flip was a shock (or well, WOULD have been if I didn't spoil myself) would be an understatement. Do you people understand, just HOW LONG we Nue fans have been waiting for his glorious return? How much hyping and foreshadowing there was for him?? And not only that, he returns with the single spiciest page i've seen in jump in a LONG time! Like, holy shit, these 4 are all legitimately NAKED, we are just missing the nipples and it would be actual full nudity. I have NO idea how Kawae managed to push this through the editors... But god am I glad he did. Let's not be horny for a second and analyze this amazing page: the page turn is a slap in the face that is still given a degree of transition from the last dark panel in the page prior and the shattering glass effect. The perspective gives us an exagerrated version of Gakuro and Shitotsu's PoVs, and the insane expression from Yagyo gives us a stark reminder of his psychotism. And the boldest part, the nudity, gains a huge degree of creepiness to it once you remember that these girls are the same ones that Yagyo was basically treating like daughters back when he first appeared. While it isn't outright stated obviously, there is an implication of grooming going on here, which increases his creepiness all that much more. It's a wordless page that tells so, SO much, absolutely incredible.
Another thing to notice here, is that the girls seem to be direct counterparts to Shitotsu, Shiroha, and Suo:
-Kodama: She uses giant claws like Shitotsu, yet her personality seems much closer to Shiroha's more reserved and cold one.
-Hiyori: She used her legs like Suo, yet is the opposite of her in personality. Instead of a bright, hard working and pristine Senpai, she is lazy, dirty and completely unkept.
-Aka: More of a stretch here as we have yet to see her fight on screen (though that spirit mask seems to be hers), but her personality seems the direct opposite of Shiroha's as well, with a cocky, easy to anger and upbeat exterior.
If this detail IS indeed intentional, which I suspect it is, then we have another example of Kota's EXTREME attention to detail.
You know what Crimson Midnight Sun's Blade Type reminds me of? Shuten Ryugo's speeds explained just a couple of chapters ago. Hell, look at that panel where Gakuro uses Bind. Doesn't it look REALLY similar to Igari's Fourth Speed? The framing is WAY too close to be a coincidence.
And finally, Yagyo's long, long awaited Hollow Weapon, Head-Hunter. A katana, the same arc Gakuro gets to draw his very own, how curious! The similarities continue, and I am starting to think that Yagyo's supposed to be a dark reflection of Gakuro. Then again, we oughta wait for more info on the dude to say for sure, but Kota's usually too attentive to this stuff.
The artwork definitely feels more polished this week, it's clear that Kota had his priorities straight lol. Besides THAT page, the shot of Yagyo with Head-Hunter is also especially great. As for Shitotsu:
-She is definitely gonna be using more than one Soul Armor like Kabane this arc, and we'll be getting a teaser for whem we tackle the Impure Children full stop. It's gonna be so brutal seeing her tackle the definitive worst part of her life as a way to get stronger, and we may even see how she was adopted into the Yajimas- SO MUCH TO LOOK FORWARD TO!
Perfect villain-like closing line from Gakuto here to booth. Another 13/10, looking SO forward to this sunday!!

2. Hal Formula: Showing the progress Miharu made with the chips before the race even properly started is a really smart way to ease us off into the biggest competition yet. For once we can see a strategic thought process being put into a competitive setup, a far cry from the desperation from before. Biggest thinh though: Kyogoku's the best character in the series. Every time he is on screen it's like we are seeing a realm of risk and reward that should not be approached, he looks like a goddamn psychopath at times, and he's a REALLY bad influence when it comes to Miharu's safety.
Making a character like this the mentor is honestly so cool to me.

3. Animal Signal: Really cute! Please give me more and more romantic tease between these two, I need that cheesy romance in my veins.

4. Roku's House Of Oddities: The biggest fear of all: having to get a job! I like the way the author is slowly but surely developing each curse as they take their place in the household, and I also like the acknowledgement of budget problems. Kabaneji's sense of responsibility is very refreshing.

5. Cannon Master: Further proving my theory that this manga gets better the less Ur is in the spotlight. The action is really solid here, nice flow and exchange of abilities, this power system (seemingly) based around manipulating your surroundings is showing promise, and Bharat's win feels earned.

6. Someone Hertz: I see this chapter as Kurage being put into Mimei's shoes. Otherwise, cute.

7. Under Doctor: While I retain my thoughts on the overall structure of the series from last week, I do like that we FINALLY got some on screen surgery, and a decent representation of the weight it holds.

8. Class 2B Hero Destroyerz: We finally got Heroes (who came to kill the demon king) for Class 2B to destroy (like the demon king)! The amnesia gag and Valaris (the demon king they gotta kill) joining the heroes are both very gintama like. Also we gotta kill the demon king. And do a high jump.

9. Ichi The Witch: While the rejection joke was giggle worthy, I am not a big fan of this design. Best part of the chapter was Amadoro being ambushed by Fujimine and her behaviour after, pretty creepy stuff.

10. Drawn To The Fire: "We see things differently, so goodbye!" I respect that. Fine chapter.

11. Kinato's Magic: Sudden new attack? Captains gathering? I can smell the axe from a mile away.

Yuuna started alongside Yaiba and also got a color page on ch7 so that was likely to be a "batch thing", it also took a while for Yaiba to actually rank well so the beginning was just not that well received, the magazine being stacked or not is irrelevant for new series first ranking, Hinomaru Zumou started in 2014 when it was even more stacked and ranked 1st place:
