The first thing comes to my mind when I see this is Crayon Shinchan. I hope this is not a ripoff, 'cause it seems hilarious. Well, need translation or Edited Manga to confirm that anyway.

I'm not surprised nobody is translating/Editing this XDD
I'm actually following it because I was in Japan at the time it started, so I just began reading it randomly and then I found no reason to stop doing it, lol.

It's kind of a pity that nobody is doing it, because even though it's not the most hilarious manga in the world it still is sort of funny. The annoying part (for a translator) is that it's full of references to famous Japanese people, trends of the moment and such, not to mention puns and plays on words.

I'd offer to translate it myself, if it weren't that I'm currently so busy that I still haven't resumed my weekly Naruto translations. If I ever get enough free time as to be able to do everything, I might think about this series as well..

well i'd encourage ya endlessly (mainly as i enjoy seeing smaller series getting attention than naruto XD) but if ya so busy then all i can say is that i'm glad that you're following it without disliking it good signs for the series

its reputation was made clear in other series more than anything, alongside its top 5 position EVERY week, despite tiny tankobon sales.

The other series thing being stuff like Gin Tama making jokes about no-one really knowing when Penguin will ever be cancelled
