Odd how I was just thinking this morning, "Ah, Bleach. I never really liked it, but One Piece feels so lonesome now without its presence to compare quality."

And low and behold what I find when I get on me purple DenDen Mushi. A series by Tite Kubo.

Don`t want to rain on anyone`s parade, but this is just a one-shot, and considering what Kubo said last time about drawing another series. I don`t think people should get their hopes up for this to become an actual series..

Every time a well know mangaka says that the series ends up being made.

I can bet you 20$ that before end of year this will be serialised

Just finished my first read through.

Honestly, I was unfortunately spoiled as to what the twist was, but with that in mind, I had fun seeing the foreshadowing leading up to the twist.

If this is picked up, I can't wait to see the other differences between the two "worlds". Kubo set it up where he could give himself a lot of room to play around.

Yes, that specific easter egg is on the last page

I missed Kubo's artwork. I hope this gets picked up. There are a lot of parallels with Bleach. I wonder if it will be a spinoff or a totally separate world with just similar terms.

nice one shot. I know Kubo is a big Radiohead fan and wondered if they inspired the title for this short story. Two main characters definitely felt at odds with each other and the dragons were a nice touch The Soul Society thing put questions in my head too.

When I saw the tile of the manga I expected witches to be burn but I read this that wasn’t the case.

The female characters looked great especially Noel and I hope this gets a regular manga.

I really liked it. But I wonder why Manga Stream translated this when you can clearly see the resemblance between these characters and the ones from Bleach. One could say they're very "unoriginal" and just "verbatim copies" of Bleach's characters. Just sayin'. But I don't care about this kind of stuff and still, much love.

I'm kinda curious as to who you think is a copy of whom.

Dark haired one looks like a girl Byakuya, blonde shorty is Yuzu and Ichigo mixed together with Riruka personality... is what I think they meant. Only 2-3 of Mashima designs so far look original while all the others resemble FT characters so it’s however you take it I guess. The chapter itself was standard, cool but nothing out the ordinary. All that’s on deck now is Kishi’s new series that’s dropping some time this year, hope it’s good
