5 Centimeters per Second is one of the best anime films of all time. The film itself is heartbreakingly beautiful, but the first time I watched it, it wasn’t until this song played that I actually had tears running down my cheeks. A comment on the video linked described it:

“This song is the sound of someone’s heart being ripped out of their chest.”

And I agree. The lyrics, the emotion which he sings them with and the understated arrangement of music is hauntingly beautiful to me.

And anyone who still hasn’t seen the film really should. It’s Makoto Shinkai’s true masterpiece, “Your Name” be damned.

Dat Youjo Senki ED @syx

If I could found the time to send my list of ED then that one would have been definitely in my list and with 7 - 9 points for sure. I keep listening that ending from time to time. Nice choice!

Ohhhh and I forgot about this one another great ED.

Forgive my english, just woke up.

[Purity of Magi]

Wtf @syx didn't know you liked Juuni Taisen ED also!

And @shinobi you're brining me some nice memories back of the anime with that Kuroshitsuji ED2.

[Organizized]

Aw man, my top 3 were all unique picks... :/ Had high hopes for the Wolf's Rain one, it's soooo nice.

Ergo Proxy ED was really close to making my list as well, props Gary.

I know what happened to this one... blame it on Hardy u.u Worth mentioning tho, such a great ED.

DAMN IT, HARDY!

Also, my #1 ("Blue", from the final episode of Cowboy Bebop) is one of the most beautiful songs I know, and one of my favorite songs of all time. Pretty sure I'll have it played at my funeral when I die. So in that sense, it's the ultimate ED song for me.

A Place Further than the Universe Ed

Thought Gryff might pick this after I rec'd the anime to him.

[uberfayt]

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Ed 2
"LET IT OUT" by Miho Fukuhara
@Valhalla777

Oh yeah this one too! ...too many great fma endings

Hunter x Hunter 2011 Ed 2
"HUNTING FOR YOUR DREAM" by Galneryus
@shinobi

Nice @shinobi ! This is also one of my faves as well ^^ But I picked another hxh ending (which I'm sure by now I'm not the only one.)

[GrySun]

I had a shared pick with Orgz? Wtf?

Yeah the Made in Abyss ending is great, but what makes it even better and top10 worthy was how well it fits the anime. Regardless of if the episode was heartwarming or heartbreaking it‘s always a great tune to channel your feelings for what you saw. A very successfully made ending.

Was very close to include the DTB ending, but good to see it was still a shared pick of yours. Had to remove so many, but have seen many of them listed by someone else so that‘s nice.

I only have like 2 shared picks, expected at least someone with the S&W ending. It‘s such a catchy and nice song, it even got me to hum and sing it every now and then, know the lyrics even.
