I don't know how to describe my wellbeing at the moment. It's sorta a mix of positive and negative stuff. I mean, I'm doing fine. Nothing seriously bad going on and my job isn't very stressful currently. On the other hand, it kinda feels oppressive to work at home and stay at home. The whole world was basically brought to a halt. On top of that, the automobile manufacturers stop their productions and do short-time work. Which means, that sooner or later, I will be ordered to do short-time work as well, since automotive suppliers (where I work) obviously have to/will follow the manufacturers lead. This wouldn't be a big issue for me if I would be able/allowed to actually do stuff, but I'm forced to stay at home. Sure, I'm not the outgoing person, but - hell - I am not a cave man either, lol.

I get what you mean, I kinda got asked by my boss to do some work from home (he's a lawyer and I'm basically his secretary) but it seems impossible for both of us, it just doesn't work well that way. I tried to make some orders he gave me from the phone but it's not the same, and it's honestly kinda more depressive. So since then we have been waiting for the offices to be able to open again, but it will probably happen after one or two months.
From that it has become more gloomy around here, you have to be so much at home (we have police here that doesn't let you be in the street unless you go to buy food) that even the stuff you enjoyed being alone at your place becomes irritating. :

Your university is closed then? What kind of impact does it have besides the fact that your graduation gets delayed? Do you have to take online classes? Do you get homework per mail? If you are exempt from any university tasks, then yeah, it is a good idea to target games. Too bad that you are restricted with your computer, which isn't a high-end one I suppose. But Sonic Adventure DX and Sims can definitely entertain I think. Maybe not the best options, but your hands are tied. There is only that much you/we can do. What else do you do with your free time?

The University staff even sent an e-mail for everyone explaing how these class will be, what pages to use (they want to do it through some sort of weird Google app) and how the days and chats with teachers will go. It will be a mess honestly, considering half of the teachers needed help with the Power Point in classes. Also there will be no exams but just reports to make, almost every week.
Sadly I will not be able to graduate in at least two years, especially since losing three or two months like this is a big deal for everyone. Still, it was a big new here that a girl graduated via videocall yesterday, she had her last exam with a teacher like that and now she became a doctor, really impressive.

I'm mostly reading books I left for years and watching movies sometimes (especially Ghibli since Netflix has all of them now), but I kinda miss the outside routines, and the feeling of being happy at coming back home at the end of the day.

Yeah, I have to work from home and I do it 100%. The only change is that I save the ride to work and back home. From free time point of view, I haven't figured out what to do. I watch/read the usual anime/tv/manga stuff and play Fate GO. The NBA/Football leagues have been suspended and I can't play Basketball with my friends anymore (or do anything else for that matter). So, there is indeed more unused free time for me. However, I don't know how to use it. Not motivated enough to pick up a new anime or manga. I searched for tv shows, but nothing piqued my interest. Games are no option as long as I still work 100%, but it is a valid option if I have to do short-time work.

I know, I am a difficult case.

Mmhm same, just like I said above, it's so frustrating the feeling of having free time but don't know how to spend it. (Especially since things might become more of a mess here after the quarentine is over, the amount of work I will have to do...).

I mostly start reading books, then leave them, then pick another one, then going back to the other I left in the first place... then go to watch some movie or series and finding out that my Internet is working terrible (the president here announced already that soon Internet conection will go bad in the country or will just have to cut services in general).

I know where you are coming from. I am also glad that I did my Japan trip last year. Just imagine I had planned it in the middle of this year. I would be devastated. Even for Nii + Sky it was pretty damn close.

Have you anything in mind for a trip next year? Any wishes?

Yeah, which is why I feel kinda bad for all the people who were in the middle of trips when all of this happened xD. Many argentinians and southamerican people in general are stuck in places and can't go back to their countries.
Brasil is such a mess now too, I'm glad for real I took that little trip back then.

Nothing being planned, I think I want to finish the career first and maybe make a more complete/long trip after I finish. I mean I can still travel to different places of Argentina but I wanted to visit Mexico the most (which is pretty expensive); some places of Europe too but I don't want to plan that in my head when they're all having such hard times, I feel too superficial.

To make it short: It all started 2011 when the manipulation scandal in the turkish football league was revealed. My favorite team was also one of the teams who were involved. And as a very passionate football fan back then, I was extremely disappointed with my team. But the thing which disappointed me more was that the whole scandal was pretty much swept under table by the turkish football federation with no real consequences whatsoever for the teams. That was the point where my interest in football started to decline steadily. Furthermore, I played less and less football myself and the FIFA games were underwhelming each year.
Now I am in love with Basketball. <3

Ah, that happens kinda a lot here, argie football isn't very... correct. My team mostly suffers from others scandals but I also stopped caring that much a long time ago. Now I mostly go watch my friends's matches (they organize games against some groups of the near cities) and cheer for them, it's really fun, but not that much into professional football anymore. I did start watching tennis sometimes, but not a fan of it like I was of football.

Should give a try to basktball sometime, I really never watched a complete game before xD. Is there any team you're fan? Also you're playing with your friends too? (outside of quarentine of course).

But I stick to my standpoint. The way the story is conveyed in Fate GO is horrendous for me. I tried - I really tried - to follow Lostbelt, but gave up after a couple of minutes. I can't think of any worse way to display a story. These two-lines put me off to insane levels. Not to mention my reaction whenever I tap the screen to load the text faster and the first line disappears because of the "third line", ugh...

Also, there is too much unnecessary and/or kinda repetitive "blabla". I bet that even a grade schooler would be able to easily shorten the content of the story by 30% without any loss in quality. I could turn a blind on it if they would just make it more comfortable to read the actual story. It just doesn't work out for me. And as long as they stick to this method, so will I with my skips. I am more than satisfied with just fighting, rolling and admiring my units/waifus.

Yes, I already found something. I plan to buy God of War 3 for my PS4. Today, I got the official announcement that I will be on short-time work this month. Meaning, there are only 7 workdays in April for me left. This is quite nice because I had trouble to wake up properly the last two weeks and now I can just sleep through the night for most of the days. Moreover, due to some funny agreements between my company and our employee organization, the financial loss will be extremely minimal.

We have to start to take online classes, yes. The University staff even sent an e-mail for everyone explaing how these class will be, what pages to use (they want to do it through some sort of weird Google app) and how the days and chats with teachers will go. The same way we currently test the development of our brake systems at home, haha. This is not even a joke, it is a perfect opportunity for companies to observe if they can let their workforce work from home.

I remember that you initially planned to graduate in 2021. Bummer that it got delayed for something you are not at fault. But rest assured, there is no need to rush your studies. As long as you don't have any notable trouble to finance the delay, you are good to go.

I don't think it is superficial to be honest. You have to make the best of your life and you can't consider every poor soul in the entire world, even if it sounds selfish. Covid-19 is not the only thing affecting people in a horrible way, it is just present/popular everywhere. There were people living miserably before it, and there will be people living miserably after it.

Nah, I didn't plan anything this year because of Covid-19 and the lack of a sidekick. Next year is a big question mark. If I had a sidekick just now, I would already plan a trip for 2021 (Australia, USA,...).

If I remember correctly, I started to get into Basketball at the end of 2018(?). Other relatives/friends got interested as well and then we started to play together since ~mid 2019. We try to play once in a week, but it's not easy to come together. Basketball is also not very popular in Germany, thus we lack outdoor Basketball courts and you can't play in winter or rainy days. We met some other guys who have the key to a sport hall, but I hate their timing schedule.

• Is the series finished or ongoing?
• How many chapters are currently available?
• Any indication when it will end?
• What's the release schedule (weekly, monthly...)?
• Are there enough Manga Editors for it?

We started a quarentine as soon as we had two confirmed cases, the gov. here wanted to act fast at seeing how things were in Europe and United States. But still so far we have more than 2.000 cases and reaching the 100 deaths; it's little compared to other countries but with Winter coming here it's already announced it will get worse.

Especially because even teachers in their own "online classroom" (yes, Google got creative like that) write that they're testing how to ask and work with us, it's basically a weird way to send e-mail to each other. Ooh I'm currently finishing a book from King! ^^ it's "The girl who Loved Tom Gordon" and so far it's pretty good. I also have been rereading a short stories fantasy book of Hesse.
I had Sapkowki in the list of authors I'm curious to try, so listening to you makes me want to cheek him sooner. Never heard of Anderson though, have you tried something of him before?

Sports in general and everywhere aren't that correcy and clean I think. at least the official side of it.
Basketball isn't popular here either, outside of football either tennis or hockey are very played and cheered on. Tbh going to play a sport with a group of people sounds so nice, I always watch my friends doing that on Sunday's nights and it seems very fun; only sport I do and really enjoy doing is swimming, which is a very lonely one actually I already miss it, will try to go back to the club where I used to do it as soon as it's safe and allowed.

FF7 Remake is soooo good syx, you gotta check it out after God of War (if you're playing that already)

I already bought God of War and played a couple of hours yesterday. I'm loving it so far. It is a top notch game, you can see it right away.

I considered to buy FF, but two reasons prevented it. First one is that I was still unsure whether it is good or not. The second - and more important - reason was that I would had to wait several days longer for it than for GoW. That's why I went with GoW in the end. However... since GoW is a +18 game, an ID verification is necessary. Which isn't a problem under normal circumstances. But due to Covid-19, the parcel is not allowed to make such verification at your place for the time being. They deliver it right to the next packstation, and you can only pick it up from there after a couple of days, because they need some time to organize/document the sheer amount of packages...

To make a long story short: if I had ordered FF, I would have gotten my hands on it faster than I did with GoW, even though FF had a longer delivery period...

If I will be on short-time work in May and/or June, I'll definitely play FF.

So, it's not more than 100 weekly chapters (approx. 17 pages per chapter)? The series fits almost every single criteria of mine and it being Fate and featuring the likes of Gilgamesh and Enkidu is a huge plus. Still don't feel like picking up any series. The irregular release schedule is bothering me a lil bit too.

Of course it is just a small sample compared to the big guns, and it will probably get worse as you said, but it's not looking that bad so far. Let's hope that the necessary amount of tests are/will be performed and that your healthcare can handle all those infected ones.

I think companies (not university or schools) will consider to include home-office more often if they come to conlcusion that it did work during the Covid-19 outbreak. Even before the recent events, home-office has been starting to grow, at least in our company. Not to mention that it also saves the company a lot of costs if they let their employees work from home. It can't be applied everywhere though.

Ooh I'm currently finishing a book from King! ^^ it's "The girl who Loved Tom Gordon" and so far it's pretty good. I also have been rereading a short stories fantasy book of Hesse.

Ohh... look at that funny coincidence. I only read The Dark Tower series from Stephen King and it was a great experience. He build a fascinating world through 7+1 books. It requires a lot of dedication to finish it though. I think I didn't like two traits of King during my read. One of them is that he sometimes takes detours which feel too long. The second one I can't say because it would be a spoiler. But I assume those don't apply to The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, since it is only one book with 224 pages.

Nah, I haven't tried something from Anderson before. Mistborn was featured in a lot of top-fantasy-lists and the synopsis caught my interest.

I talk to my grandmother like once in a week and while she misses us a lot and wants to return asap, she doesn't look worried at all. She is a pretty chill and cool person in general anyway. Doubt she is bored at all, because she has a lot of friends and relatives there with whom she gets along very well. As long as her tablet works, she is fine.

Ahhh, I think we use the term "career" differently. For me, a career starts once you finish school/university and get employed (employment career). I get what you mean, you're right, it's just that I heard everyday from most of my family that they can't wait to Italy to re-open their doors again so they can go travel certains places and stuff, which sounds kinda cold based on what's happening in there right now, at least to me.

During every single vacation, people spent a lot of money which could have potentially saved a family/life elsewhere. Speaking of other things affecting in health, there are several cases here of "dengue" a bug that gives a terrible disease and is more quick to spread and even to kill, there are many places here asking for medical sources but the government is focusing only with the whole coronavirus problem.

That's hard stuff to swallow, honestly. Similar to Italy and France, where people infected with Covid-19 don't get any treatment after a certain age (dunno if that is really true).

USA has so many places which offers all kind of different things. Once I start naming cities, I probably wouldn't be able to stop. But more importantly -> I am quite the flexible and open-minded person. Nature, national parks, big cities, cultural stuff, the beach and so forth doesn't matter. That's why the preferences of my potential vacation-partner would play a major role. I think there is not much I wouldn't like to do or visit. I know that I would burn some money in Las Vegas with one of my cousins, while I probably would drive through the Route 66 and visit the Grand Canyon with the other one, and one of my close friends is solely the beach-person who would throw up if I mention cultural stuff or national parks.

Sports in general and everywhere aren't that correcy and clean I think. at least the official side of it.
Basketball isn't popular here either, outside of football either tennis or hockey are very played and cheered on. Tbh going to play a sport with a group of people sounds so nice, I always watch my friends doing that on Sunday's nights and it seems very fun; only sport I do and really enjoy doing is swimming, which is a very lonely one actually I already miss it, will try to go back to the club where I used to do it as soon as it's safe and allowed.

Oh, I love swimming as well but I rarely do it in Germany. I dislike swimming pools because I feel too constrained in them. But whenever I am at the beach, I almost never leave the water for the whole day. I simply can't because lying on the water far away from the beach and enjoying the sounds of the ocean is one of the most relaxings "activities" you could possibly do.

Well, I may show you it someday.

I already bought God of War and played a couple of hours yesterday. I'm loving it so far. It is a top notch game, you can see it right away.

I considered to buy FF, but two reasons prevented it. First one is that I was still unsure whether it is good or not. The second - and more important - reason was that I would had to wait several days longer for it than for GoW. That's why I went with GoW in the end. However... since GoW is a +18 game, an ID verification is necessary. Which isn't a problem under normal circumstances. But due to Covid-19, the parcel is not allowed to make such verification at your place for the time being. They deliver it right to the next packstation, and you can only pick it up from there after a couple of days, because they need some time to organize/document the sheer amount of packages...

To make a long story short: if I had ordered FF, I would have gotten my hands on it faster than I did with GoW, even though FF had a longer delivery period...

If I will be on short-time work in May and/or June, I'll definitely play FF.


So, it's not more than 100 weekly chapters (approx. 17 pages per chapter)? The series fits almost every single criteria of mine and it being Fate and featuring the likes of Gilgamesh and Enkidu is a huge plus. Still don't feel like picking up any series. The irregular release schedule is bothering me a lil bit too.

Then the flight company stopped their flights from Stuttgart and now most flight options are around 1000 per person at best... So even if all flights weren't cancelled right now it'd still be a mess trying to find something. And every flight comparison site sucks, so it takes a lot of time searching for best flights, tweaking dates and such. I'm sure you know what I mean.

Hey I‘d say Japan is worth the 13+ hour flight + overall stress with trains and planes and luggage etc.
My humble list is empty atm actually If I had the choice to be teleported somewhere for 2 weeks and back or staying home I‘d stay home. Maybe changes later, but am too full of all the travelling this and last year.

As for aligning, compromises help.
