I enjoy Spain's football though, kinda like watching Barcelona play.

But then the team goes one nil down ... And instead of seeing them test the keeper from outside the box ... They start making passes inside the 18 yard box ... and then you get bitter and curse their football pattern.

After the red card Russia is going to logically try to keep the 0-2 until the end of the match to avoid a catastrophic result (like 4-0 or 5-0), but I wonder how Russians feel about their team basically throwing in the towel here.

The problem with Spain's football is that tries to recreate Barcelona's football... but makes it frustrating. Like they have to pass the ball +50 times before trying anything or else they explode or something lol.

I've lost count of how many times I've seen a counterattack of Spain "Oh! 3 vs 4, go for it boys!!" *o*
and then Silva stops and waits for Isco-Iniesta to arrive and pass them the ball like "It was a praaank!!" and the whole rival defence composes itself again...

Do they want to score or not? geez.

What the team needed was an aggressive player to play dirty. They've got that in Costa, so they're my favorite to win this tournament. Either them or the Germans.

The first 25 mins of this game just proved two things.

1. Spain arguably has the best attack of the competition.

2. They also have the worst defense.

The best defence is not allowing for the enemy to have any situations that's one of the reasons why Spain always have such huge ball possession.
