So, the previous sig contest just finished up, and while I am happy that there were seven entries, I am rather disappointed by the number of violations of the rules in the submissions. I will be contacting each contestant that had a rule violation via PM, but I want to stress the following: your submissions need to adhere to the contest rules. Beginning with the next contest, submissions that do not match guidelines will be disqualified. I don't like having to get authoritative about a fun contest like this, but the rules are there for a reason and it isn't fair to the users who actually do follow the rules.

That being said, the voting has begun on the dragon-themed sig contest, and good luck to all entries! (I agree with Farfalla that Gyarados is dragon enough! I always thought it should be a dragon. )

The new contest has begun, and its theme is luck by popular decision. I favored this theme myself, but I wasn't sure if it might be felt as too abstract or difficult. (I saw some comments about the previous couple of themes being rather difficult, and I thought I would give the option for a much simpler color-based theme.) I hope you all have fun, and I wish you all the luck of the Irish!

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be scary; I just wanted to get the point across clearly.

For anyone who has made a violation in this submission, I just want you to heed the rules a little more closely for the future.

I've noticed the thing on crediting Planet Render too. I am not a member of Planet Render, and I am not sure if you need membership to view the links. For situations like this, it would be sufficient to say that the render is from Planet Render with a url to the site and to provide the name of person who provided the render you used (if available; if not, then you could mention that it is unknown).

While I care about the crediting details, I understand there may be confusion on this regard, and if the credits are imperfect, I won't disqualify you for just that, but it is something that you should strive to have accurate.

If you have any questions regarding credits or any rules, feel free to either PM me or post your questions in this thread. I would encourage doing the latter, as some of your questions could easily be answered by one of your fellow users.

The topic about Planet Renders links, the problem is...

When you found a render in this website you usually copy the link that is located in the upper bar of your browser. Later that link wont work for you or for anyone else who wants to see the picture even if your registered or not. The solution is that instead of copy the link from that bar, look for the details which are below the picture:

I think what Tsukisama did was cool. Warning us about the problem and showing us specific problems thru PMs. I think this way people won't get embarrassed^^ Since we have 'till next contest to fix this, we won't lose what we already did. I agree with what he did!

I'm sure your allowed to post your sig submissions for the new luck theme now. I think some of you are getting confused. The duration/time limit you have to submit your work is "Two weeks after the thread is opened". The thread is already open lol otherwise you wouldn't of been able to post your submissions.

We all basically have two weeks: March 13 - March 27.

NinjahKat submitted her work on the 14th and kakashi919, you posted your work today (15th). I don't see what the problem is. No harm done. Unless, I'm stupidly missing something here...

Looks like I didn't do anything "illegal". Flickr is quite good to use for pictures or even for some inspiration. I can't be bothered with that Planet Renders. It seems like many of you have been extensively using that website in recent contests.....somethings not right here.

I didn't get a death threat Only started using planet renders for that Konata signature. The renders there are better than the ones I find on google. And I'm just too lazy to register at other render sites.
