I think it is really interesting that rural America is voting for Trump for a hope of change. They've had enough, I guess.

But is it? Rural america is traditionally red and states like ohio go for clinton.

Granted, it's still early to conclude it, but that would be an enormous surprise for me.

Yes it is, since a lot of them voted for Obama last time around or have been vocal about support for Clinton. I'm still surprised Trump won Kentucky.

Okay, every source has different results for Electoral votes for each candidate. Some say Trump has 92 against Hillary's 97, others state he has 120 against 70 for Hillary. What's going on here?

Republicans have to win red and blue states, Democrats mostly only have to worry about winning blue states, so yea...California is going to be a harsh hit I suspect.

Winning Cali would make it a struggle for him, though. It is very unlikely he will get any support there, so it will be giving Hillary a lead that will grow off of states she's most certain to win. Yea though, it depends on what she wins and loses alongside it.
