I think the government ought to do that and more to find ways to snuff out people who were influenced by terrorist teachings in America. Maybe initiate a national registry for people in that religion, have watches at their gatherings for these religions, and monitor their online conversations
So then I take it you have no issue with the internment of of the Japanese during WWII? Violating the right to privacy?

Just plain terrible. We'd be bombed to kingdom come if we hadn't invaded Iraq. Multiple American landmarks would be destroyed, the country would be in chaos.
You're living in a fairy tale dude...based on what? Do you even know why the Gulf War happened? This is the kind of doomsayer schlock that the Bush administration shat out all over the media, and thousands upon thousands of people are dead when it never needed to happen. Try emerging from your bubble once and a while...or please just tell me you're trolling.

Saddam Hussein was allowed to exist by the USA because we and the UK supported him during the Iran-Iraq war. This was nothing but a proxy war between the West and Russia. If it wasn't for our support, he never would have had the military capability to threaten anyone outside of his immediate area. Do you even know what goes into enriching uranium in order to weaponize it? Hussein was gassing his own citizens while the UK was training his army, so why did we give a shit about him possessing WMDs all of a sudden in a post-9/11 world? We were clearly lied to and the victim of faulty intelligence at best. It supposedly making us safer was nothing but a front, it's so freaking obvious.

Why allow refugees? I like the idea of closing the borders more and blocking group of individuals with a higher propensity to be terrorists. Until that religion takes care of its terrorist teachings then we shouldn't allow its believers into the nation. There are many other nations in the world, Europe seems more than capable of hosting these people, so they don't necessarily need us Americans to house these people. I think its a fair thing if we as a country are the ones to be the attackers of these terrorist nations, while the other countries with vastly inferior military's do the work of helping people fleeing these nations give them a place to stay and what not.

I think the government ought to do that and more to find ways to snuff out people who were influenced by terrorist teachings in America. Maybe initiate a national registry for people in that religion, have watches at their gatherings for these religions, and monitor their online conversations, like the recent person in that religion who is training our future leaders of America with these bad thoughts and ideals http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/01/20/fbi-investigating-kent-state-professor-for-ties-to-isis.html (watch the video) Is this the America you want? More surveillance, more tools for intelligence agencies is needed.

In my readers, there was enough to justify the attacks on other countries. If there is any inkling that they could have a weapon of mass destruction or is engaging in any acts to do inhumane dehumanizing things to their own people, then that country deserves attack. Its the right thing to do. You know?
Then we should be deporting white people from this country and banning them from coming here because they have a higher propensity to be terrorists. if I recall, aren't Christians attacking Planned Parenthood centers, homosexuals, and at one point looked down on black people because of the Bible? Again, if you are truly worried about terrorism, why not start with the attacks orchestrated by our very own "patriots?" White supremacists shot at TWO gurudwaras in two different states and killed multiple people, another group threw a pig's head in a mosque, and a terrorist tried to incite a racial war by shooting black people inside a church, not to mention a white man executing three Muslim students who did nothing wrong but help others. Refugees and foreigners are not the problem here, our own citizens are. They have committed more terrorist attacks on our soil than refugees and foreigners combined.

They actually kinda do, it seems. And no, it's not fair for us to attack any nation or label them as terrorists. We can be considered terrorists too given how we've attack countries and exploited them for our gains, leaving them in worse shape than we found them. I think that was one of the reasons why England was so hated, and one reason why the US was created.

That's such a stupid and hypocritical suggestion. I've already said why, many times. Blaming Islam is also pretty dumb, given ISIS doesn't seem to practice anything Islam as it's a religion of peace. Otherwise KKK and Westboro should be considered Christian groups, and all of the Christians should be monitored just in case they turn out to be bunch of racist, homophobic trashes that kill anything different from them. Hell, all white people and people who own a gun or possibly own a (legally or illegally) gun should be monitored just in case they try to commit acts of terrorism or something. Why focus on the group that has done less damage to the US when we can focus on the groups that have and continue to do far more damage to this country?

Not really, no. It's not a right thing for us to interfere, especially when we helped the country gain the power to do horrible things, just as how we helped ISIS and Al-Quaeda's rise to power because we interfered. This just makes the country or countries want to go after us even more.

Because there is less out there on Republican candidates cannibalizing each other. Cruz cannabolized himself with not looking into the legality of him runing for president. Otherwise theres not been any case. Though Rubio seems under attack from other Republicans, he is more focused on Hillary anyway.
No there's not. Plenty of reports talk about the candidates cannibalizing each other. Have you not heard of Trump vs. Bush? Cruz vs. Rubio? Or again, is this just typical republican selectivity, where they only accept things that they like or agree with?

Cruz is a horrible person anyway. Interesting how republicans have Cruz, who was a Canadian citizen, but bitched and insisted on Obama showing his birth certificate to prove he was born in the US. Race privilege, I guess.

Yes Mr Sanders is lax on security
"He believes in a strong defense system for our country and a robust National Guard and Reserve that can meet our domestic and foreign challenges.Bernie believes that military intervention should be a last resort, not a first resort, and that a bloated defense budget represents an improper prioritization of defense issues at a time when the country is plagued by pressing domestic challenges."

Terrible budget proposals, focus on the WRONG group of proud men and women in our military. What about the Navy, Army, Air Force, and the Marines?!

" Bernie voted against the first Gulf War and vocally opposed and voted against the 2003 invasion of Iraq."

Just plain terrible. We'd be bombed to kingdom come if we hadn't invaded Iraq. Multiple American landmarks would be destroyed, the country would be in chaos.

"Bernie has not ruled out U.S. military action against ISIS or the so-called “Islamic State,” but only in a role supporting — not replacing — regional armies and militias already combating ISIS."

Bad strategy bad bad bad. Working with regional armies and militias is never successful. Our proud servicemen and women would be killed in action. And his lax drone strategy wouldnt do anyone any favors either.

(All quotes from "feelthebern.org" (Guess hes trying to appeal to young folks with that icky name)
He's not lax on security. He's just not dumb enough to put everything into defense and waste so much money that doesn't really help or benefit anyone. Lowering the budget spent on defense and warfare is a great move, especially when the money is used to help the Americans. Don't you want to have an easier life?

Proof that we'd have been bombed if we didn't invade Iraq. This feels like lies to cause fear in people and gain their support.

You're not worried about the servicemen and women being killed in action. I highly doubt you even care.

A smart president would increase the military to thwart threads abroad for his first term then on his second term, with a powerful military built up, focus on enhancing the way of life of people in the country. Let's not forget that Americans are already part of the most blessed people in the world. Even the poor here are richer than the poor elsewhere. (And everyone wins in Rubio's tax plan so even in the years of enhancing the military, our country would be on the rise from Obama's rock bottom).

Mirrors. didnt I say this also. We're on the same wavelength.
No, a smart president would decrease the military and not interfere in other countries' personal matters. Wasting money on military is a horrible idea and only serves to hurt the US. I also doubt anyone but rich people would win in Rubio's tax plans, given he's a republican and republicans only care about rich people.

Interestingly, I don't think anyone would agree that Obama's US was or is at rock bottom, but that they would agree if Trump or Cruz won, the country would really hit rock bottom.

It's a shame Trump is a racist, sexist asshole. I'd have otherwise probably voted for him more for his dislike for political correctness than anything else.

I am not sure we actually live on the same planet here... Either that or you are simply outright trolling us and we have not gotten the joke....

The Iraq war did not make the US safer. If anything it's the opposite. The Iraq war is specifically one of the things that led to the creation of ISIS. So not only there were no weapons of mass destruction, and a power vacuum was left within the country from which IIRC it hasn't recovered yet but it is also one of the reasons ISIS exists. As in, one of the things that is making the whole world unsafe. The US has a history of marching into places, bombing stuff, leaving power vacuums and making everything objectively worst in those places and around them. The Iraq war is something the US should be specifically ashamed of. Do you even remembers how much ill will towards bush and the US the war got from US allies? George bush was literally a meme for stupid...

I wouldnt place people in internment camps thats inhumane. Booting and blocking people from the country at least still gives them freedom.

Do we really have a right to privacy? Remember, the U. S. Constitution contains no express right to privacy. I'm alright with more surveillance and etc on our privacy if its for increased security. M3J seems to suggest that he feels very insecure in America with radicals being spawned on our homeland, so if all Americans were subjected to having more of their lives under surveillance, then wouldnt these events decrease thereby making all of us would feel more secure? I think its a win win situation.

When has there ever been a humane internment camp?

Well as far as increased surveillance the first question should be if it really does work. There are years and years of NSA spying, what have been the results. This site seems to suggest the spying is mostly pointless although being fair I am not 100% clear on how good a source it is. On the other hand, I have yet to find credible sources that suggest NSA spying or spying in general has made the US safer in the past or will do so in the future.

Booting and blocking people is inhumane as well.

Mainly white radicals, but I see no one pointing that out. No one bothers to bring up white terrorists or white thugs in the US, it's usually either brown terrorists or black thugs. The hypocrisy and double standards disgust me.

Not really, it wouldn't make anyone feel more secure. Invasion of privacy tends to do the opposite.

ISIS doesn't seem to practice anything Islam as it's a religion of peace
I think that's a bit of a misnomer honestly. Just because the majority of people who practice a religion aren't murderous lunatics, doesn't mean it should be considered a religion of peace. Islamic radicals don't exist by accident. There are a ton of hypocritical things and doublespeak that goes on in Christianity and Judaism as well (the Crusades and Zionism, anyone?), so while there might be a passage that exalts the virtues of peace, there might be many more that do the opposite. These are what radicals latch onto to justify what they do and one passage isn't somehow more legitimate than another.

As an aside, it's part of my issue with religious people in general, the cherrypicking that goes on. I'm not sure why people feel so attached to something that is quite clearly a messy and often ugly hodgepodge of ideals that quite often conflict. Most of the Abrahamic religions share virtues that predate their existence, so I don't see why more people can't "evolve" past them as well. I guess part of it is what religion offers as a system of control....but meh, I digress.

Just reiterating what the Muslims say. Christians also say that the Bible is twisted as well, and that it was never stated that homosexuality is a sin. The main reason why I believe ISIS aren't true Muslims is because no person would attack the artifacts in their deity's house or their deity's house, and the ISIS have been doing just that. It has me pretty suspicious, to be honest. If a Christian group started burning down churches, I would wonder if they really were Christians.

I think it's more due to fear of Hell and wanting to go to Heaven. From what I've read in school, the best way to get people to go to church over century ago was to scare the shit out of them by describing Hell, how to avoid going there, and what consists of sinning.

Wow Marco Rubio's crime spree ad is eye opening, Im glad it points out how silly his opponents are being. His opponents are now stooping to new lows to pull out things he did as a kid.

They have? I've seen video of them destroying World Heritage sites... Unless it was them destroying stuff relate to Shias or something. I seriously doubt they believe they aren't muslims, but I guess this is beside the point...

They have gone after mosques as well, even ancient ones, if my sources are right. Though, I don't remember if they mentioned Shia, and I forgot there's Shi'ite and Shia.

I'm sure the soldiers believe they're doing it for Allah, but I don't think the leaders are.

I can't believe Rubio is screwing around instead of working on his campaign. I don't want this kind of president who will deliver pizzas and play whatever he's playing instead of working.

I didnt know you were a Chris Christie fan who is instead of playing and appealing to college students, working away at the blizzard for his citizens.

I love seeing how Rubio is down to Earth and appealing to people in my age bracket.

Who says I'm a Chris Christie fan? Given his attitude towards teachers, I would not support Christie at all and abhor the fact that a lot of people from NJ are supporting him just because NJ. He may be from my state, but he's not done a good job overall.

So "down to earth" is Rubio not bein serious about campaigning and tackling issues with the country? This is another reason why he is ill-suited to be the president. I mean, despite several bills passing during Obama Administration, he was taking selfies and stuff! This is not the kind of president we need, we need someone like Bernie who works hard and is passionate about improving things. Also, regarding the debate, kinda sad that Clinton mentioned Flint but Bernie never did.

Why would Bernie mention it? Hes never seemed concerned for women and children beyond how much money they can earn. Hilary seems more concerned for the well being of such groups.

Bernie is concerned for everyone but Wall Street criminals who got away with doing bad things. He's concerned for middle class, minorities, homosexuals, and more. I don't see Hillary as genuinely concerned though, not in most cases. Maybe she's bringing up the situation for goodwill points, but I hope I'm wrong. Either way, I would not vote for her.

Raising taxes? Awful, hopefully seniors don't vote for him as those on fixed incomes will face tough struggles paying even more for health insurance services they already receive at lower cost.

Decrease the amount we spend in warfare and increase taxes on the rich. Better for everyone except for the greedy.

As far as the taxes on the rich, that usually concerns capital gains right? On that one I would be more inclined to side with republicans (although not for properly conservative reasons). Capital gains refer to income from investments and profit from companies... Taxing capital gains would be a way to target income inequality but IMO not the best way. Wouldn't you get more or less the same result from increasing wages and getting rid of tax loopholes? Increase wages and you are sending money directly to lower income people, you are sending money to circulate directly into the economy.Get rid of tax loopholes would directly increase government revenue which would work to finance the stuff they are supposed to be doing. A capital gains tax could be used to address income inequality but it wouldn't directly send money to the lower income areas of society. Or maybe I am missing something about this issue?

Sure, close loopholes, but increase taxes on the rich as well. They can easily afford the higher taxes, and it can help out the people with low to no income. Hell, if I was rich I'd not mind paying more taxes, as long as very little of it is wasted on defense and warfare.

How much mroe do they need to be taxed? They are already paying the most taxes. http://taxfoundation.org/blog/top-1-percent-pays-more-taxes-bottom-90-percent

The top 1 percent of taxpayers pay more in federal income taxes than the bottom 90 percent. As you can see in the chart below, this is a stark change from the 1980s and early 1990s. But since the early 1980s, the share of taxes paid by the bottom 90 percent has steadily declined.

An interesting piece of information from the chart below is that after the 01/03 Bush tax cuts, often claimed to be a
tax cut for the rich, the tax burden of the top 1 percent actually increased significantly.
