Under Obama the american dream of owning a house is naught but a dream looking at the declining home owners. The people on foodstamps has increased on Obama meaning ges increased the number of the unwealthy. Screw him.

Same sex marriage is a state issue not a federal one meaning he abused his powers.
Under Bush, the American dream of owning a house became a dream, and under Obama, the dream is slightly more reachable. The link I posted seem to indicate Obama has made the country better than what Bush left it in. Under republicans, food stamps would be stopped while the "unwealthy" would be even poorer and the wealthy, richer. And more people would be allowed to own a gun without a good background check, resulting in more shootings and mass murders.

so wait, you have an issue with Obama "abusing" his powers to legalize the very thing that you support? wtf?

And what about republican candidates claiming to ban same sex marriage, force prayer time in schools, banning abortions, and defunding Planned Parenthood? Guess if republicans take away people's freedom and break the Constitution, it's okay.
You keep saying that Bush was a terrible president but Obama has already had 8 years to fix the country. All he has done is borrow a lot of money.

No it is not. Via executive orders and other mechanism, Obama (and the US president in general) wields ridiculous, emperor-like power that the founding fathers never intended. Obama made 5 million illegals legal with the stroke of a pen (which happen to lean democrat, of course). He has used more unilateral presidential orders than any other president. He attempts to bypass republican controlled congress at every opportunity he gets.

Don't be surprised if a republican president comes to power at some point and abuses executive orders to undo everything democrats have done. because that is the precedent Obama is setting.
I'm guessing you didn't read the link/s I provided, as that shows what Obama has done. He's been fixing the country slowly, but it's hard to do that when you have politicians and citizens acting like petulant children and opposing everything Obama suggests or wants to do or not do.

If the US president wielded ridiculous, emperor-like power, then they'd be able to do anything they want. Bush could have gone to war sooner while Obama would have passed more of his bills and reforms while shooting down the ones he didn't support. Obama is likely doing what he has to for the sake of this country, otherwise the dumbass republican-controlled congress would stop any improvement in the country unless Obama turned into a white republican.

Besides, isn't Obama also deporting these immigrants? I don't know how accurate the source is since it seems to not like Obama. Another source. You should feel better now, as this is an act that republicans would agree with. Personally, this is one of the very few things that I'm right wing about, although I'm not sure why since as long as illegal immigrants contribute to society, it's all good.

You seem to be a republican. Hmm.

Which is a direct result of the subprime mortgage crisis that happened due to deregulation of banks and lack of oversight from the Bush administration. If you think Obama or Democrats are to blame for the recession, then you're seriously misguided.

Why should it be a state issue? So then you have no problem moving if it wasn't legal in your state? And Obama had nothing to do with same-sex marriage being legalized federally, it was the Supreme Court that ruled on it, effectively making it legal everywhere.

And who nominates and appointed judges? Oh yeah, the president.

If anything, banking is the most regulated industry in the universe. Banks would never get so big and things get so messy if it wasn't for all that regulation and government intervention in banking.

Yeah, what's your point? Only 2 of the 9 Supreme Court Justices were nominated by Obama.

I fail to understand this logic. So... banks don't get so big because of deregulation, but regulation itself? The FCIC itself blamed the crisis on deregulation and a failure in supervision. You can't blame something that happens on the mechanism that's designed to prevent it, only a lack thereof. Deregulation isn't something that only happened under Bush, it had been going on for 30 years.

I really do not understand what's wrong with the federal government legalizing same sex marriage and am astounded that a person who confessed he hopes to get married actually has an issue with it. The federal government interfered to make sure everyone had that right, and that it wasn't being denied. And the republicans actually want to take away the right and freedom for homosexuals to get married, doing the same thing that republicans are supposed to be against.

And apparently, I read that one candidate plans on packing the Supreme Court with right wingers. Ted Cruz, apparently. Good bye common sense and freedom if that happens. Can't believe the republicans want to erase everything good Obama has done... although if they have their own plan that's just as good or even better in place, I wouldn't mind. But given the articles and what the candidates have said, they're idiots.

Scares me that no republican voter seems to care that their candidates have openly lied, been deceitful without remorse, and essentially said they'd restrict freedom. But then again, Clinton is very hard to trust, and I'm not sure if Bernie truly knows what he's getting into or how he's going to achieve the changes that he wants. Given that I seem to care more about social happenings than economical, foreign, or anything else, I'll be voting for Bernie.

Though, I wonder if it's safe for Wall Street people who have committed deceit to be punished.

If he really was interested in the Constitution being defended, he'd bow out of the race to save his backers money.

I don't think any of them are. They just want to make it look like they're interested and are riding on the coattails of Obama criticism and low approval rate to garner support.

Its the ideology, states citizens of states ought to decide which marriage laws they want and not the power hungry head honcho of the united states. Ive always believed citizens should vote for the civil liberties they want. Why have a democratic republic if our voices dont matter? The states had already voted for the rights they wanted for same sex marriage, my state had a vote and had same sex marriage legalized, why did we need a court to tell us that we can or can not get married?

Anyway, Im glad to see Hillary Clinton have a huge lead over Sanders in Iowa thus far, and Rubio have 14%! Hes going up.

bullshit, you just don't like it because you don't like Obama. If it was a white republican doing the same thing Obama did, you'd praise him or not mind, and I bet you'd even support Affordable Care Act. I see nowhere that indicates Obama is power hungry, just that he has to do what he needs to in order to fix the country while dealing with the dumbass republicans and democrats. And we need a court to tell us that because many states refuse to let it happen. But again, I doubt you'd care since your state legalized same sex marriage, and you don't live in other states.

Citizens shouldn't vote for civil liberties, they should be allowed civil liberties automatically. There's no reason why same sex marriage has to be anything but legal anywhere. Has the citizen voice mattered for decades? I highly doubt it, only choice we have is choosing who becomes the president. Jeez, it's like no matter what good Obama does for the country, people will always bitch about it. And in the meanwhile, people will actually think Bush did a decent job when he's the one who caused most of the issues we have. All because he's a republican.

Funny thing about you complaining about Obama and what he does - you seem to ignore, as usual, that republican candidates have lied purposely and committed deceit with no remorse. Sadly, republican voters would realize this if they bothered to fact check instead of being blind sheep.

I hope Bernie has better luck going forward. Seems to be the best choice out of all the candidates, at least socially.

Well, the supreme court disagrees with you as and so does the constitution. Civil liberties are unalienable, and not up to the state government's discretion as to which ones their inhabitants receive and which ones they don't.

The citizens of the US needed a court to decide precisely because some state governments decided to deny their rights.

Funny thing - because of republicans I've actually started thinkin better of Obama and realized that he did or tried to do plenty to help the country. I am strongly anti-republican for this election, but if they started caring about the country, I'd actually be more open to voting one of them if they were the better choice.

Anyway, Cruz did better than Trump, while Rubio came in third place. And one or two anti-republican voters prefer Rubio because he seems the least extreme out of the three. And Team Bernie is happy that even if he loses to Hillary, it shows just how big he is and how they came so close to beating her.

Rubio and Trump both got 7 delegates so I guess they share 2nd. TrusTED Cruz got 8. Iowa is so close. Biting nails for next weeks primary. #TeamMarco #NewAmericanCentury #conservative

My state legalized same sex marriage by voting. To argue that we needed the supreme court for that is poppycock. Things are easily more accepted by the puplic when they vote for it.

Uh, congrats then...? You're lucky you live in a state that legalized it before it had to come to a supreme court decision making it legal everywhere, nothing more. Just substitute same sex marriage for any other major social issue in the history of the country to realize how faulty your logic is.

I don't think anyone should give a shit whether people accept it or not, it was clearly the right and just thing to do. Just because something "bothers" you or goes against your "beliefs" doesn't mean others should have to continue living with less rights. Conservatives like to act like legalizing same sex marriage means they have to marry someone of the same sex or something. :lmao

So what you're saying is that you're against same sex marriage? Because you're either for it (whether passed by the supreme court or Obama) or you're against it (demanding it should be voted by states, where most of them wouldn't). This sort of logic and thinking is exactly why not a lot of people respect republicans or conservatives, and why despite Obama, people see US badly. "We will push for more freedom and less government interference, but we'll get the government to ban same sex marriage and refugees and everything else that we said we were against!"

No they're not. People voted for Bush but he was heavily criticized during his term. People voted for Obama, but he's heavily criticized despite improving or tryin to improve the country. If one thing is given, it's that the public is dumb.

I don't understand how anyone can vote for a slimy liar like Cruz...

Why would I be against same sex marriage when I voted for it?

Marijuana use, abortion, single payer health insurance should all be put up to vote. If we voted for abortion wed probably not have it thankfully. The obama government is giving people too many rigjts over stuff people shouldnt have rights for.

Cnn said rubio did the best for republicans among non evangelicals with college degrees. Hopefully that bodes well for other states. People need to seriously look into him. Hes the most realistic goal oriented candidate running among both parties.

Obviously because you have an issue with same sex marriage being legalized in whatever way possible. It shouldn't matter if you really are for it.

Nah, Obama Administration is giving people right over stuff they have the rights for, from abortion to weed. Should be established by now that people shouldn't be trusted to make decisions for others, they'd choose whatever benefits them the most. Banning abortion and marijuana is dumb because it won't stop people, but it won't be as safe. Does no one know what the Prohibition was? How Al Capone got his rise?

Only good thing about Rubio is that he doesn't seem to be as fucked up or crazy as Trump or Cruz.

Apparently republicans failed to get the Affordable Care Act repealed or Planned Parenthood defunded. Justice prevails, and common sense wins! The candidates should honestly just fuck off with this and actually focus on more important things.

Yeah...but no. The second a republican is in office auxilliary funding opportunities like planned parenthood and broken disadvantagous creations of infringing on our right to choose our own healthcare will be defunded. I cant wait for these obama machinations to be eliminated once hes out of office. I could finally pay less for my healthcare.

Or you'll probably end up paying more, and knowing republicans, far more than you can afford.

Hopefully the country is smart enough not to vote a republican into the office, and that the republican doesn't have the power to defund Planned Parenthood. I feel better knowing my tax dollars are going into something that helps people instead of corporations and an industry who likely mismanages the budget. Bush did a lot of damage to the country, and Obama has slowly been fixing it. I'm sure if we get a republican in the office again, we'll probably be sent to the brink of no return.

If Sanders gets in office America as we know it will be gone. How could anyone want that. At least all republicans but Trump will restore traditional american values.
