I see it more as them willing to destroy the country if they don't get things their way, but I'm sure same can be said about liberals as well. Politicians are shitheads.
Well, their perspective is that they are saving the country. By actively sabotaging it but still. In other countries you hear people complaining about government and whatnot... rampant corruption and such things. Which is generally the case as well. However when it comes to alternatives the what is usually offered at least is something that works (with varying sizes depending on your political inclinations). With the republicans the idea of a functioning government is non existent and even outright immoral. I have seen and read about many conservatives over time but it is quite rare to see such a group being mainstream. Elsewhere such an absurd and irrational stance is left for outright anarchists or tinfoil hat wearing folk...

Getting fundin from the government/taxpayers isn't a bad thing. Private funding is a bonus as well, means the organization can help more people at cheaper or free cost.
I will neither confirm nor deny the possibility that Planned Parenthood has helped someone somewhere however, I would prefer until they eliminate conducting abortions and dealing with controversial practices, that they are barred from receiving federal aid. Only when that happens, will I gladly accept their purpose in our country.

No, that's the platform of democrats. Republicans just want to increase the wealth of rich people, from what I understand. And if financial stability did make as much of a difference as you claim, why were Hollywood celebrities getting abortion? Surely the major stars can afford to have kids, no? And I did some googling, and it seems abortion rates are lower amongst white women and women who are high above the poverty level compared to minorities and women below poverty level.

I forgot what I meant by that, truth be told. But I don't see financial stability halting accidental pregnancy or abortion, just possibly reducing the amount of abortion and pregnancy. You can be wealthy and have a stable life, but still want to get an abortion because you don't want a child.
The republicans want to increase the wealth of every American. If you are a busy owner then you want more people to have more money so they can spend more of their money at your business. Notice that the tax cuts being proposed by candidates actually help most Americans. Eliminating the healthcare that Mr Obama imposed on us additionally frees up tons of money for people to use elsewhere.

Mr. Trump brought this to light, people paying more in healthcare means less in their pockets.
"People’s — I don’t know if you have been watching lately over the last couple of weeks — people’s premiums, George, are going up 35, 45, 55 percent," Trump said on Oct. 25. "Their deductibles are so high nobody’s ever going to get to use it. So ... Obamacare is turning out to be a bigger disaster than anybody thought."
Celebrities lead stressful lives and also struggle to find opportunity, so its understandable that they too would need to find financial stability and be established. With abortions being as common as paper cuts, its no wonder that people try to get an abortion the second they face some emotional insecurity.

Guns that are sold illegally do not generate taxes. However, you keep saying abortions are bad because it takes away innocent lives. Guns do the same as well, they take away the lives of animals and humans. Why should guns be allowed but not abortion or Planned Parenthood? Guns and abortions are about ending lives, yet people support guns over abortions, which make no sense. Guns have played a huge part in killing so many innocent people, yet abortion and abortion doctors get criticized, which makes no sense.

Can you prove this? There are a lot of armed people, but the gun violence is pretty high in the country. Americans are not happy with the idea of giving more people more guns, not when there have been mass shootings, gang violence, and police brutality.

Also, accordin to this, Obama's gun control action can be good for us taxpayers and for firearms companies.
What Americans are not happy with the idea of giving more people more guns? If that was true where are the tighter fun laws, why are gun sales increasing?
2015 gun sales were the 2nd highest ON RECORD. Recreational objects for shooting ranges and hunting is more popular than ever and people have spoke with their wallets about it. Its not surprising to see why people rally behind guns more than baby killing, guns enable you to have some fun and socialize, abortion leads you to regret and emotional turmoil. Guns enable you to be protected from hurt harm and danger and defend yourself in bank robberies or terrorists attacks, abortions often lead to being places of potential victimization with assaults on clinics taking place, abortions dont allow you to protect life but rather to end life, and lastly abortions are morally and ethically wrong, while gun owning is not breaking any morals. When an abortion happens no one wins.

I'd rather my money go to an organization that actually helps people, like Planned Parenthood, instead of warfare and defense that gets billions of dollars and has so little to show for it.
Then you can still support Planned Parenthood with private donations. I wont judge anyone for what they spend their money on but I dont think the govt ought to get into such affairs that could have moral and ethical consequences on them later. Military spending protects lives, spending on planned parenthood ends lives, the choice is clear as to which ought to be supported by the military and which ought not be.

Planned Parenthood aren't selling baby parts for profits, they're selling baby parts to support the organization and continue to offer services to people at cheaper price or for free. Planned Parenthood seems to be doing something right if it keeps getting cleared by states of any wrongdoing. They have done nothing ethically or morally wrong, unlike republicans who have lied about Planned Parenthood and lie about everything else.
Planned Parenthood apologized so they were doing something wrong. What was wrong? Probably everything since she kept avoiding the question. http://www.wnd.com/2015/09/if-videos-heavily-edited-why-did-planned-parenthood-apologize/

No, Christian people have committed lots of wars and have killed lots of people. They used the Bible to justify seeing black men and Native Americans as savages not worthy of respect and are willing to let children die just because they believe Jesus will heal them. If you actually read unbiased news and not Fox News, you'd also know that many Muslim organizations have helped people and donated money to victims, like the Charleston shooting victims and church. They have also helped people and protected Hindus and Christians from attacks.

I find it shocking that people immediately criticize Muslims but ignore how they have helped the society. Just research on those three kids that Hicks killed, and you'll find they contributed more to society than many Christians. Hell, KKK were made up of Christians and committed acts of terrorism and killed people who weren't Christian, who were black, and who were sympathetic to blacks.
I cant think of anything in America that muslim people have helped in. No inventions, no participation in American indepdence, no participation in emancipating slaves, no participation in returning land rights to Native Americans, no participation in boycotting white places that were participating in segregation of blacks, no participation in anti nuclear bombing, no participation in improving the environment of America.

Muslim people need to do something to make themselves more know rather than sitting in their areas in cities. All the groups you mentioned people who are Brown need to do the same. It doesnt appear that Black people or people from Asia have difficulty being in the same places as most other Americans so why are these other groups staying in their own locations together and not assimilating into American culture?

No but you see influential Christian pastors demanding money for jets or having a mansion or stuff like htat. Yet the Charleston shooter killed the black people because he wanted to incite a racial war, and yet Muslims are called terrorists and violent?

Why would Christians attack Planned Parenthood and shoot up people? Why would they shoot black people for not being white or Christians? Why do many of them attack homosexuals? Because they were brainwashed to do so? Many of them seem to hate the US for one reason or another, despite being born in US. And apparently, a lot of white Europeans (girls anyway) have actually ran away to join the ISIS.[/spoiler]

Youre implying those christian pastors dont face scrutiny or go through long interorganizational debates on the necessity of these things for the needs of their missions. Whats wrong with an influential black christian pastor getting a jet for his organization. We need more people of color increasing the diversity of the skies. How many other black people do you see with jets? mansions? Not many, clearly this wealth disparity in America needs to be addressed.

Link to people who were devout Christians who shot up people or bombed clinics or launched attacks against homosexuals...I cant think of any. People may have been raised in a home that went to a church once or twice a year, but I would think they would be different than devout Christians who attend services regularly.

All you can do is acknowledge that Muslims aren't the only group with propensity to terrorism, and admit that white people can commit terrorism as much as any other group. And remember that more terrorist attacks have happened from white people in America than from Muslims, and more violence has been committed by white and black people than by Muslims. Hell, I'm sure no one expected the Aurora theater shooter or the Newtown shooter to shoot out of nowhere, yet it happened. To single out Muslims is to be ignorant and idiotic.

Evidence has it there's more reason to be afraid of white people in America than there is to be afraid of Muslims. I can't say about European countries though.
Nope, in America the largest terrorist attacks have been from Muslim people. The last I checked no American has managed carry out coordinated assaults in the skis to crash into landmarks of American independence freedom power and security.

I dont know if we can put the theater shooting or newton shooting on terrorism levels. Those were done with no clear motives or reasoning. Terrorism is calculated, planned, and aimed to get the maximum amount of coverage. The bombing at the televised boston marathon for example.People cant go to marathons without fear anymore because of people easily able to be radicalized by online teachings of the muslim faith. I dont recall white christian evangelicals bombing marathons.

I'm sure Muslims are trying to do that, but the white supremacists and anti-Muslim idiots don't care and will continue to judge Muslims. Blaming Muslims is pretty idiotic, especially given many got along with Americans before 9/11, until Americans started attacking anything that resembled a Muslim. The Americans are just as responsible, if not more responsible, for the divide. Again, stop relying on Fox News for information, they're full of crap.

I must be a bad Hindu because I'm defending Muslims. :rofl
I dont think people believe that every person who practices the Muslim faith or is from around the parts of the world with islamic states is a potential terrorist but with these people not on tv in any meanigful form, no other platforms for showing that it is only extremists and that the teachings are not what everyone believes, Americans are left to imagine that every person is a potential terrorist and that they need to be on the guard. If these people would integrate themselves in mainstream American society then things would be better. Most people only interact with these people when they visit the doctors offices since many are doctors in America.

Well, unless you are a shitty person - then it would have been best that you were miscarried.

Also, it isn't like the bible is really that against abortion.
As long as the mother isn't harmed in the process - the foetus's 'life' is only worth as much as the husband deems it to be worth.

Not sure what all this has to do with the 2016 Election however...
Ah yeah, the hypocrisy....nothing new there.

What I meant wasn't the quoting of scripture, just that most religious pro-lifers believe that "life" begins at conception. Mostly due to the belief in the existence of a soul.

It is the babys right to live a life and it is therefore the right of another entity to take care of the baby and ensure it has a fair chance at life like everyone else does.
You continue to be ignorant of the law. It's the woman's right to decide up until when the pregnancy becomes viable, per Roe v. Wade... and even then there are exceptions.

Why should they be barred from receiving federal aid when they aren't breaking the law? Just because you disagree with what they do, doesn't mean it's wrong. Whether it's wrong or not isn't even up to you or any politician. The SUPREME court decided this in 1973.

They probably don't see it as sabotaging the country, just these people don't know how to run a country anyway. To be fair though, I don't think any candidate does.
But again, the republicans would rather destroy the government and see people's lives get shittier before they let Obama or democrats get their way, and they'd rather help the wealthy get wealthier and ignore the middle class.

There is a reason why Americans are looked at like idiots while Obama is looked at like a ruthless president who despite the ignorant citizens and politicians is doing a lot of good for the country.

Just because you disagree with what they do, doesn't mean it's wrong.
I think this line has odd implications. That would suggest that whatever the government does is automatically right, and I think we know of several times in US history when the government allowed things that were very morally and ethically not right.

No, it means that subject has already gone through the mill of scrutiny. That's what checks and balances and judicial review are for. If a similar case was brought up to the supreme court today, the result would be exactly the same, regardless of what prolifers think of it or what congress tries to do about it. A woman's right to have an abortion is protected under the 14th Amendment. That part of the Constitution hasn't changed in 43 years.

Believe me, there are plenty of people who disagree with gay marriage as well, but no one is overturning Obergefell v. Hodges either.

If the recent track record is any indication, they'll reject this as well. But even if they do hear the case, what exactly is going to change about the right to have one? The laws in Texas only exist to impede abortion, not ban it.
The more things there are to impede then the less abortions there will be, a win win situation.

And then cases will be filed against these state laws which will go up the ladder of appeals and will eventually be overturned as well. Acting like someone's 14th amendment rights don't matter just because you dislike their life choices is quite unamerican.

But okay, I guess it would be a win for religious fascism. Sure thing.

So this means no matter who the candidate, they can't stop abortion. Good, as much as it disgusts me to say.

Also, none of the tax goes into paying for abortions, so even less reason to be against funding for Planned Parenthood.

I just think it'd be really unlikely. You have a Constitutional Amendment which protects it, which would trump anything state lawmakers could try to do.

But it wouldn't stop the republicans from trying, or at least claiming or lying about it.

Marco Rubio performing splendidly tonight, those apocalyptic killers of ISIS will be thrown in Guantanomo Bay, when America is stronger the world is stronger, he will rebuild our national security network.

This is why republicans will destroy the country. They'd rather get rid of things that are beneficial to society like Planned Parenthood or things that doesn't affect others like same sex marriage while introducing things that are bad, like more guns for everyone or more money in defense and warfare. What's embarrassing is that republicans lie and bullshit through their teeth, and their followers believe it because the followers are just as ignorant or idiotic.

"Planned Parenthood has done over 90% of abortions out of all the services it offered!" Well, if you actually fact check, Planned Parenthood has said the rate of abortion is actually around 3% or at least, under 10%. Do republicans care? No. Bunch of dumbshits who would rather defund Planned Parenthood for no good reason despite the fact that it actually helps out men and women, and when the child is born, the very same republicans turn their backs on the child. Oh, I should say "prolifers" as you don't have to be a republican, but someone who pretends to give a shit.

"We shouldn't allow refugees or Muslims to come in because they're a risk and might commit acts of terrorism!" Oh, I absolutely love this one as well because there is absolutely no basis for this. If our so-called American citizens actually did research, they would find that the US has barely seen acts of terrorism from Muslims since 9/11. In fact, more white and black Americans have committed acts of terrorism on the US soil than Muslims. I also don't understand why Christians don't find it ironic that they distance themselves from KKK and Westboro Baptist, but have no issue saying the Muslims are ISIS or Al Quaeda.

"We shouldn't allow refugees because what if the people screening them get lax or something?!" OH HO HO, just another bullshit from the republicans and republican candidates that can be easily debunked with research and asking the refugees themselves. We've been accepting Syrian refugees for years, and none of them have committed any acts of terrorism. Not to mention, the country screens refugees pretty well, better than France. Not only is it a long process, but if any of them feel during the arduous questionings that there's something fishy, GET YOUR ASS BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!

tl;dr: fuck republicans, republican candidates, and all their lies and bullshit and the republican voters who don't fact check or ignore facts to suit their shitty way of thinking. Chris Christie is a liar, and I'm embarrassed he's the governor of my state. The way this man plays politics is disgusting. He should have at least admitted he did support abortion/Planned Parenthood, but changed his mind after hearing his daughter's heartbeats. Far more effective than lying, unless he was lying about donating. Flip flops more than Kerry did, apparently. Instead of working on what's better for the country, politicians of both sides (mainly republicans) would rather work on what gets them the most votes or fits with their dumb views and religious views.

Besides, I'd like to see proof Planned Parenthood is as bad as people make it out to be. It's not. Or that Muslims have committed multiple acts of terrorism in the country, far more than the white and black American citizens. Or that bad refugees made it past the screening process, or that the screening process is weak or getting weak. Or that defense and warfare need more money when they can barely do shit with the money they have right now. it's obvious how pathetic the candidates are with how much they attack Obama.

They're talking about islamic extremists through the lens of foreign policy. I mean, you can disagree with most of what they say (I do), but black or white people committing acts of "terrorism" have different ramifications that don't have any bearing on international security or foreign policy. The end results might be the same, sure...but I don't think the problem with those incidents are as tangible or common. Maybe gun reform, but that's about it.

From what I understand, they're talking about any and all Muslims potentially becoming a terrorist or Islamic extremist. Barring Muslims from entering the country causes more problems because it convinces them that the west hates them and makes them more likely to join the ISIS to take us down.
I'm not even sure if most republicans even care as much about international security or foreign policy as they do about suffering some sort of loss. I actually see France as being more justified in barring Muslims as they apparently have had more attacks from Islamic extremists... though, how many did the US authority stop before they could do any damage?

I should also make it clear that I'm talking more about the republican voters that I have heard or read, not necessarily about the candidates or politicians. Though, I'm sure that it's not really a matter of foreign policy or international security to them, but stereotype/fear for their lives and/or materials.

If we focused as much on taking guns away from bad people as we do on defending cops who shoot at drop of hat or being anti-Muslim, we'd probably cut gun violence by 2/3.

I hope Bernie isn't flip flopping like Christie. I don't understand holding weapons manufacturers responsible if their weapons are used in homicide... if anything it should be the ones who sell the guns. It's like blaming the video game makers for kids playing adult games when either the parents buy the games or the retailers sell it without asking for ID.

What sanders is proposing in that specific case is just outright stupid... It simply doesn't make sense to hold gun manufacturers responsible for someone using the guns they make for crime. The next step would be to sue the fork industry when someone uses a fork to stab someone. Or the car industry when someone intentionally runs over someone... responsibility in this sense would be chaotic.
