Why would they say that? Where is this? They don't have as much authority on covid as virologists do.
Yes, because psychiatrists and neuroscientists were the ones investigating and making statements about what was happening in Wuhan in Jan 2020.Psychiatrists and neuroscientists said "no evidence of human to human transmission of corona virus" in early 2020.
During a time when people with no medical degree said they should assume the worst case scenario and respond accordingly to prevent it from entering the united states.
I don't understand why anyone who supports COVID vaccines would try to debate the topic. Anyone with a decent memory who paid attention to the developing crisis would easily be able to refute virtually any point vaccine supporters tried to make.
Yes, because psychiatrists and neuroscientists were the ones investigating and making statements about what was happening in Wuhan in Jan 2020.
Why are COVID vaccines different to you than all of the vaccines we've taken previously? Unless you're just broadly antivaxx? Not that makes you position seem any more logical. Let's break it down -
1. SSRIs have lasting side effects in some people and the drug companies denied all of this for years
2. Obviously this means COVID vaccines also have long-lasting negative side effects in those who take it
3. ....
11. Profit?
There's a difference between saying that with limited time/research, we can't truly know both the short-term and long-term side effects of these vaccines and saying "I was right years ago about SSRIs and told everyone to listen to me instead of their doctors, therefore I'm 100% right about these vaccines". That comparison is totally apples to apples, right? "Learning from history", if that's something you earnestly want to do, would tell you how effective the majority of vaccines are. Or would you also deny that?
It's very difficult to take this line of thinking seriously. It's not even necessary to couch any point you make with how you're always right in the end and woe to humanity for ignoring you. Who the hell are you even? If this isn't just some awkward ego-stroke, then what is the point of introducing this sort of thing to any discourse you want to participate in? It's very off-putting.

But... your posts aren't about history. They are about your ego.edit
From early reports of corona virus in 2020.
I expected millions of unfortunate casualties within 12 months.
Like I said before.
Why debate this topic, when facts are not on your side.
Think of the many thousands of people whose lives were ruined by SSRIs and antidepressants.
Think about the many thousands of people whose lives were ruined by fentanyl or opioid painkillers.
Convince those people that FDA approval makes SSRIs and fentanyl completely safe. Convince them that the "long" and "100% safe" history of vaccines makes mRNA technology and COVID vaccines "100% safe".
Convince them that big pharma corporations like pfizer or moderna care about human life more than they do profits.
Nothing you say, nothing you can say will change any of the things that really matter.
This random text on the internet will have no real or lasting impact whatsoever.
Especially not when it comes to black and minority communities who remember the tuskugee experiments or african nobel prize winning scientists claiming AIDs was engineered by whites to kill blacks. You think those people will trust vaccines simply because a complete stranger on the internet says they're safe?
That's the entirety of the problem right there. None of the people commenting comprehend the scope or history of the situation.
Except me.
And no one is going to listen to anything I say.
So laugh about it. That's all you can do.
I wish you hadn't given any attention to it. We just had one huge blow up about someone not being able to take a joke. Especially considering this one wasn't as good as mine.xi0 said:In what universe is that considered funny or even clever?
Think of the millions saved by them though. It's also important to understand that a side effect is just that: a potential downside that you take the risk of suffering while taking whatever particular drug.Sanity Check said:Think of the many thousands of people whose lives were ruined by SSRIs and antidepressants.
I know, for a fact, that this isn't true, because as far back as 2006 (further even) you can find reputable sources that flat-out own up to the fact that SSRIs and anti-depressants have side effects and are to be used responsibly. No one pretended they were some sort of panacea or cure-all. You're creating a phantom to fight against.[/quote]10 years ago I advised people not to take SSRIs or antidepressants due to them having many negative side effects.
All of the people who claimed SSRIs and antidepressants are "100% safe" and have "no negative side effects" 10 years ago.
Apparently US broke records with over one million covid cases. Embarrassing.

"Facts". These companies are absolutely in it for profit... but how do they profit without selling something that does what it says on the box? That wouldn't make much sense would it? Why did Trump enable all of this?Like I said before.

The number being as large as it is is probably related to delays in reporting though. Many states didn't report over the holiday and many don't do it over the weekends either.Apparently US broke records with over one million covid cases. Embarrassing.

Rather than just deleting it'd I'd rather hope to understand the thought process behind it. They don't seem like a hateful person.I wish you hadn't given any attention to it. Had to basically schedule my booster 2 weeks in advance.
And then there's the whole issue with it not even being an option for people young enough. Hard to see this guy as anything but completely useless.
the total is still scary amount. Not to mention the long term effects and the amount of people that could die from it.The number being as large as it is is probably related to delays in reporting though. Many states didn't report over the holiday and many don't do it over the weekends either.
Can you prove I am a huge supporter? Don't be a Jubei and make shit up pls.@ninjabot @M3J are all huge supporters of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

You can't pretend it never happened and walk away like you're not responsible for him being President and fking everything up.

If I remember correctly, only kkck has defended Biden somewhat. I only voted for Biden because I thought he'd do a much better job, and because of Trump's bigotry and lies, as well as incompetence with handling covid. I'd still rather have a Dem in power and with majority over a Rep, but Biden's making that preference hard.
What made me sick before then? Bill Gates' semen? The 5g nanomachines?I doubt you recieved any vaccine or that you'll ever recieve a booster shot.
But if you do get one, you might notice your eyes are more red and swollen than normal.
Someone who comprehends basic medical science, who is qualified to comment on vaccines, science and medicine can recognize and explain these typical symptoms.
Can you?
Keep your revisionist history to things unrelated to me or what I've written here. You're out of your depth either way, but... blatantly lying to my face about what I've said is definitely a new, embarrassing low, even by your standards. Stick to misrepresenting things that people have to put in effort to research first.Joe Biden is your boy.

I'm curious: what has he said that has given you reason to believe he's anti-vax? Wouldn't his claim that he's getting the booster be reason enough to believe he's already received his first 2 doses? I've received my first two but haven't attempted to get my booster yet. Am I lying too?Sanity Check said:I doubt you recieved any vaccine or that you'll ever recieve a booster shot.

Both parties, for the most part, are two sides of a same coin. Except, Democrats aren't as white supremacy or homophobic as Republicans, but they're both for business over people.I honestly don't know what to say about any of our current events.
It is clear from the historical precedent, both parties have their own quirks, agendas and motives for the future.
What makes things hard is the media's constant insistence on transforming everything about politics into high school drama, rumors and popularity contests. The media never discusses history, the deficit or anything relevant. Its always "Trump's ego" or "Trump has small hands" some high school drama nonsense to distract people from relevant points.
People can support politicians or policies on the basis of facts and history.
Or they can support politicians and policies on a basis of high school drama perpetrated by the media.
If history illustrates anything, its they cannot do both at the same time.
Republicans never had democracy in mind, if we're honest, just heterosexual, white supremacy filled with Christianity. They want to stay in power to allow this to happen, which is likely why they chose Trump and will choose any conservative-siding figure no matter how shitty they are, as long as they support the white agenda. Here we are. January 6th. A year from the day the Republican party chose Trump over Democracy.
