I have seen some of Soros younger demographic. Some of them seem somewhat bloodthirsty and hotheaded to me. In the way that Hitler was.

They're not as cool headed or patient as older generations like Soros.

Many also do not seem to know basics of history, strategy or negotiation which could be even worse.

All they know is spam attacks, spam attacks, spam attacks. Results, results, results. At any cost.

What if the cost is the entire world burning? They might consider it a minor setback / acceptable collateral damage.

Those are my simple observations. I hope I'm wrong.

The billionaire class are obviously the reason accelerationism can never really be a real threat though. Most of the billionaire class are going to be closer in age to Soros than they are to anyone angry on twitter.

Trying to become financially and politically literate.

Only thing I achieved is sounding crazy to most people, and no one taking me seriously(?).

Maybe I should have put my time and energy into something else, instead.

I'm not gonna make any predictions about who's gonna win because I don't know how many people in America base their votes on what's happening in other people's countries as opposed to the actual country they're voting for the leader of (willing to bet it's not enough to lose someone an election though). But if Dems lose, it's not gonna be because they neglected leftists.

Neglecting leftists is the democratic status quo. It's the order of things. Nothing will have changed if they do.

The way you continue to not understand anything. Especially after the left played a huge part in Biden winning.

In an actual democracy, people shouldn't be voting for the lesser evil or because other people are forcing them to vote for a certain candidate. People should vote for whom they think is the best candidate, and Muslims, the left, and Palestinians know Biden is not a good candidate. Again, they've warned Democrats a year in advance, so if the Dems really want their vote, they'll go with a different candidate. Not Harris or Clinton or probably even Bernie, but someone different.

Dems have no one to blame but Biden. Had he opposed the genocide of Palestinians from day one, didn't blame Hamas for everything or claimed he saw 40 dead babies and then had that statement retracted by the White House, then maybe people would have still voted for him even after breaking a lot of his promises like not building a wall or not cancelling student loans.

I stopped being a liberal after seeing how cowardly they are and how okay they are with horrible stuff as long as their candidate wins. Right now, I don't see Democrat supporters in any way better than Trump supporters with how they're showing NO empathy or sympathy whatsoever to the Palestinians and Muslims who are seeing their loved ones murdered. If you want to support a genocidal person who has no qualm about lying, who was exposed to be a Zionist with a video from decades ago where he admitted USA would have created an Israel one way or another, then that's on you. If you want to act like you're better than the left just because you're willing to support a liar and a party that's been warned it'll likely lose with Biden in 2024, then that's on you.

But one thing Democrats need to stop doing is blaming their failures on others. Running on "blue is better than Trump!" doesn't work anymore because unlike 2020, we've seen what Biden is like as a president, Democrats not only need to change their candidate, but they need substance other than "THE OTHER MAN EVIL," especially when the left are tired of broken promises. the left can be quite annoying, but liberals are way worse even if they're not as bad as the right.

For me it's not about not taking you seriously, it's more about not really grasping it. I don't necessarily think that's entirely your fault, or entirely my fault, but I digress.

I just think there's more to this dynamic than the demeanor of billionaires. Musk is probably an outlier, generally people don't take risks. And he's still a bullshit artists overall. It's not like Soros is some crazy radical, and no one who accrues his kind of wealth will advocate for the kind of things lefties on twitter care about anyway.

I for one, never thought you were crazy. Biased? Most of the time (but who isn't?). Immoral? Some of the time, according to secular humanist standards. But crazy?

Nah. How people treat others is rarely based on knowledge of their true character, and more often than not just based on their interactions and context. And since we're only ever interacting in a political thread, and we're political adversaries, you get treated like an enemy.

Me, kckk, M3J and to a lesser extent xi0 (I don't remember interacting with him outside of politics the way I did with the others) were around during the heyday of the Big 3, so we've got years of history that's less contentious than what you see between us in this thread (at least in the Naruto and Bleach forums. I still haven't gotten into One Piece). It's not just our political linings that make us capable of chatting without dismissing each other as crazy, it's the benefit of the doubt that came from history.

Hamas is not the problem, Israel is. If Israel wasn't committing genocide for 75 years and stealing Palestinians' homes and land, then Hamas wouldn't exist. They'd have no reason to exist if Palestine was living in peace.

And that's another reason why Biden will likely lose, because he has no problem lying and focusing on Hamas while ignoring Israel being the actual violent criminals.

No, the IDF is. And Hamas is too. I just don't bother linking it because I'm doing my absolute best NOT to moralize about this war. I don't want to make you feel bad about the disgusting acts Hamas does: I want you to care enough about Palestinians that you don't advocate for them killing themselves by continuing to fight. Hamas doesn't need to be expunged because they're doing bad things to Israelis, they need to go because they'll never let Palestinians pursue the one path to peace that doesn't lead to every Palestinian being murdered: surrender.

Because you don't surrender to get good treatment, you surrender to get better treatment than what will happen otherwise. Don't forget this isn't a fight on equal footing. It doesn't take much to turn the screws and scare people fighting a losing war, that they'll never win, while their relatives and their homes are being obliterated around them. I wouldn't be surprised if many of them were waiting for this way out.
