Hillary, Cruz, and Trump are likely doin whatever it takes to please their industry buddies and making the wealthy even wealthier. I'd love Bernie's plan if he focused on increasing taxes on the wealthy.http://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2016/3/25/11293258/tax-plan-calculator-2016
This was an interesting read. Quite an ambitious plan Sanders has. On the other hand clinton does not seem to be aiming to do much... The cruz and trump thing is predictable. I guess their plan is to cut taxes and then complain about the increasing deficit....
They won't, they're too stupid to. The least anyone can do is not go after innocent Muslims. You brought up this gripe with it being talked about more than the other things you mentioned. I'm saying it's obvious why that is, it's topical now more than ever due to what happened in Brussels. There's always overreactions to such things by someone, but nothing is really gained by manipulating the narrative and acting like the only thing being talked about is terrorism. Whatever is topical is what is talked about. And of course loudmouthed republicans aren't going to go after right-wingers or white people or gun owners. That's just ludicrous.
Why are you acting like it's something people shouldn't be concerned about? I'm not talking about it consuming your life, but you did live through 9/11, no?
Yes I did, and since then we've had fewer attacks from Islamist terrorists than France in a year or two. there's a difference between reporting suspicious activity and directly going after Muslims or committing hate crimes.
Execution means it wasn't done in a fit of anger, unless he's the type of angry person who can be patient. I'm not saying it has anything to do with atheism, but something to do with the victims being Muslims. I haven't seen proof to contradict this.He killed 3 people after getting the guy to open his door. What does the method of murder have to do with this? He seemed to choose them because they were neighbors. I'm not saying it had nothing to do with race or that it wasn't a hate-crime really. What I'm objecting to is the idea that others in some way bear responsibility for criticizing religion. People are still responsible for their own actions. Atheist aren't collectively planning to murder people who believe in God.
It doesn't matter why it's being done really. People do many things in the media or art to provoke a reaction. If you believe in the first amendment, you support their right to do it. You're sort of wading into regressive left territory when you look at it like that or say things like Charlie Hebdo deserved what happened to them.
Problem is, these people are openly tryin to provoke the Islamic terrorists into attacking them, if not outright pissing them off. Burning of the Qu'rans is just as bad as burning the Bibles or Bhagavad Gita.
Well, Charlie Hebdo kept antagonizing people, so I can't feel too bad about them. I don't support terrorist attacks though, before you misunderstand me, and it shouldn't have happened. While they may not have deserved it, they should have protected themselves better after the first attempt.
