I get what you mean though I still feel pretty bad about them. It is a bit of a broken family after all. It did get me to remember a few articles I read about pro trump muslims. And how easy to spot the bullshit in them was. Not in the sense that the articles were lying about the people they were talking about but the basic mistake they were making. Which was to think "Yeah, but they are not talking about us muslims, they are talking about those muslims, the bad ones". For xenophobes there are no good or bad "insert ethnic group here", it just that group and they have to get rid of them....

Don't get me wrong. That woman deserves to get back into the country (and fortunately now she can go back), but she also deserves to be told that she brought this upon herself and that the is a big fucking hypocrite.

The mistake you mention is sadly rather common. Even in the beginning of the Nazi reign, Zionists were partially pro NSDAP because they thought there was a common interest of getting the jews out of germany and int israel.
They were only half right.

I feel like one of the few people on the internet that is actually willing to give Mr Trump and his picks a chance. They have yet to initiate any sort of policy or changes that would give support to the thoughts that they are not qualified, or doing things to prevent poor kids from going to school, or ruining and destorying lives of citizens borne in our homeland.

He got his chance and blew it a dozen times by now.
All his picks did, too.
They all already screwed up so often that it is a farce to act as if they did not.

I would give people like Bush Jr the benefit of the doubt and admit that, while being incompetent, they might be at heart good persons who made bad decisions or were not able to rise up to the challenge in front of them.

But of all the people included in the Trump cabinet and appartus so far, all i can see are people who lie on purpose and have thinly veiled intentions to abuse their power and lie to the american citizens.
They do not care for american citizens one little yota, they do not care for the suffering of the working class, for actual victims of abuse (not even christian victims), for schools, not even for jobs.
They care for personal goals, some financial, some purely related to ego.
And that's it. There is nothing more beyond that.

The only one i would give the benefit of the doubt here is Ben Carson.
I don't think Ben Carson is a bad guy.
But only because I think that Ben Carson does not actually know where or who he is, what that 'president' thingy he ran for is, what a ministry is and least of all where is luggage is.

And i am not that pessimistic about ur run off the mill politician.

Even for most republicans, even for the more arrogant ones of them, for the rich guys who went to ivy league schools because their parents paid for it, i would assume that at some point of their head, the are interested in an america that has healthy and happy citizens.

But the guys who got appointed now do not have that intention, not even at some hidden spot inside them.

Betsy DeVos used her wealth to convince republicans to block bills that would have improved your education system and that would have given poor kids mor chances.
Instead, she is going to further the process of having a two class education system in which poor kids are just completely fucked (because why would she stop pursuing that agenda now when she finally got enough power to really power through with it?).
There is nothing you can say to defend that person.

She will just see so that even the brightest poor kids will, if they are lucky, get some shitjob without healthcare.

Yeah, but to what end really? The SCOTUS is for life, there's nothing he can do to them really.
End? To undermine the US institutions if necessary and push his own agenda by whatever means necessary.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...american-court-system/?utm_term=.47542d415f12

Maybe the US court systems have enough checks and balances to keep trump in check, to an extent, but if he tells people that the court system is corrupt and doesn't work and all that stuff then people are absolutely going to take it seriously. He is effectively attacking US institutionality... If he successfully damages that, it will take a generation to fix it....

I like the military pick (The guy is experienced on Art of War, this is a true top tier material no matter how you look at it), the Attorney General, I dont know, I feel like Trey Gowdy or Chaffez were good picks for the spot, but Jeff doesnt seem a bad pick either, so I´m in the middle when it comes to that one.

On the other picks, I will wait to see, how they act, before judging anything lol, since I dont know much on those particular picks.

I don't see how this person http://www.esquire.com/news-politics/a52895/who-is-jeff-sessions-attorney-general/ can even be viewed as good if you are a constructivist and think reality is just subjective, much less if you are not.

Again I´m in the middle on Jeff Sessions, Chaffez and Gwdy always seemed better picks for me for a while (Gowdy was even being hyped up for the pick a few months ago) but Jeff Sessions is more of a veteran on law, I cant come to a consensus on this, even after watching the article I have some doubts here and there, but perhaps Trey Gowdy was a better pick? I think I will remain with this mindset for a while, until I see one of those 2 proving themselves for the better or for the worse, it´s just too soon for me to draw conclusions on who would´ve been the best Attorney general pick, also watched a lot of Amicus Humanis Generalis focused more of chaffez and gowdy than Jeff whom I didnt see on youtube in a courtroom to watch and properly compare the 3 so yeah and consideering I have a brother working in Law and I get to hear him say some stuff from it now and then, I think I´ll remain in the middle for time being, with maybe Gowdy having been a better pick, but in need of seeing Jeff fuck up, in his spot, before driving this conclusion just to be sure.

Eitherway, anymore thoughts on the other picks? I dont know what to think about the other ones, besides what I already think on Jeff and Mad Dog.

One by one, Trumptards will soon realize their mistake in backing a con man, which will cost him his re-election in 2020 (it has happened with Jimmy Carter due to his poor performance in the country).
But on the other hand: we're in a generation that had people who voted for a dead gorilla, a name of an Alcohol brand, and Mickey Mouse. Meaning, it is more possible for the moron to get re-elected because of dumbfuckistanis who believes in Memes.

Every single pick was a desaster, with DeVos being the worst of it and the icing on the cake.

Even MAttis, the guy you praised here (and you are not alone, even some democrats favour him sadly), says things like:

""Actually, it's a lot of fun to fight," he said during a 2005 forum about war strategies in San Diego. "You know, it's a hell of a hoot. It's fun to shoot some people. I'll be right up-front with you, I like brawling. You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn't wear a veil. You know, guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them""

http://www.cosmopolitan.com/politics/a8435891/gen-james-mattis-secretary-defense/

He might be a person who can win a traditional war, but in a time in which you need your military majorly for interventions in which your maingoal is to stabilize instead of destroy, that guy is not the right pick.

He is the right pick if you want to run into needless wars which destroy countries. And that#s not good.

The thing that angers tme the most is that many will not see their mistake.
They will go the 'oh well all politicians lie' route and blame the system instead of themselves.

Some will wait for the next meme.

I doubt most of them won't see their mistake. Some, yes, but those are hopeless beyond saving (probably the same people who're part of the disgusting Tea Party with their various myths... or "Alternative History").

I think if anything the guy is useful to make North Korea and Iran, start being more respectful when it comes to their missile tests, but if this guy wants he can do some serious damage, in the middle east, I just hope, he will be of good use there at the very least.

I dont trust DeVos, American education is at risk lol.

He is absolutely not, because the US cannot attack those countries.
If anything they get more dangerous in trump era because trump is not going to keep em under control like Obama did.

The same can be seen in israel already.
Obama was critisized as being spineless towards israel, but under obama, the settlement policy slowed down.
It is back and faster than ever by now, and this is going to give us an israel iran conflict that is not being moderated by the US, but fueled by the US.

That is a bad thing, because today's problems cannot be solved by war.

HOw is mr maddog going to attack russia backed iran or china backed northkorea?

Let's stay optimistic then.

If i am honest, i lost a lot of trust in the common sense of american people when they elected trump.

I know a lot of them believed wrong things and voted according to those, but then, why would they rather believe they screwed up than following alternative truths that make them feel better?
I do stay optimistic about trump only getting 4 years (i rather firmly believe that), but american people really have to be on edge and i hope the protests and outrage won't completely stop.
It is important.

I meant Intimidate, not actually attack lol, I dont want ww3:gwah

But seriously the US needs this guy to put a lot of countries in their places LMAO, the Obama administration, gave too many free passes to certain countries and now they disrespect the US 24 hours a day, not nice.

But Iran and NOrthkorea know very well that he cannot attack, so he cannot intimidate them.

Obama did not give out free passes. Obama got things under control by smart deals. He didnt talk big just to ponder to americans who want to hear that.
Obama mostly soothed conflicts.

Like, which particular country would you think mr maddog can put 'into place'?
Russia? China? Lawl.
The thing about the US military in modern times is that they can project troops everywhere in the world to intercept in conflicts.
And that is exactly what a guy like that is bad at, because he is out to win a brawl, not to reach the goal of an intervention.

But there is no place for a traditional war in these times. Do you think a guy like kim yong Un is afraid when he knows China backs him?
He isn't. He is more afraid of a guy like Obama who is able to handle out good relations with china and thus would be able to make china keep north korea in check.
He is not afraid of the guy who abandons any good relation the US might have had with the one power that could actually control Kim.

He can, just the fact, there´s a guy who studied Art of War as a military cabinet pick for Trump, gives a image of, you dont wanna piss of America.

He did, thats why he was manhandled as a joke by the Chinese at the G20 meeting, he showed to much weakness to the chinese to think otherwise is to look the other way from the visible signs lol.

Well the guy will still be useful, even if traditional war scenarios dont happen, at least he will prevent a lot more of military casualties, if he can make good use of the US military a thing that has been very lackluster for a couple of years.

Also, while Obama was president there where warmonger generals wanting to pick a fight with Russia LMAO, compared to their empty threats the Mad Dog can at least get some respect around and it´s all about the impression of the US military that the other countries need to have, they just need to respect the US military and stop playing around, they might keep their missile tests going, but they will behave in the South pacific Sea and in the Middle East, assuming the Mad Dog can deliver if he starts failing then he deserves to be treated as a joke of course, but we dont need any serious wars with the US, just more respect for the time being so we can actually avoid a World war scenario, the chinese would do well to remember that and who knows maybe the guy might deliver good damage on ISIS with better US-Russia relations there.

This guy us a good pick if you want a ww3. He might be good at war strategies but nothing suggests that he's good at diplomacy.
