What the fuck does this have to do with me asking whether you still think white supremacy is a boogeyman or government PsyOp?

Are white supremacists a danger to citizens or not? How many more mass shootings where white supremacists say they're killing people with white supremacist's justification does there need to be?
And because republican states like Texas allows them to get away with being shitty as these states care more about wealthy people and businesses over workers or anything else. Isn't Tesla being sued in CA for allowing racism?
These two things aren't causally linked though. Like you just saw today, the shooter wasn't from Buffalo, he expressly showed his desire to travel to an area with more minorities to kill non-whites. The county he lives in only has a black population of 5.8%, which is well below the national average. He went to a predominantly Black neighborhood of Buffalo, which is 36% Black overall. Where is the relevancy?? 2+2= ????
Every single white supremacist could be a Democrat who is for equal protection under the law, civil rights, affirmative action, etc.... despite wanting to kill non-whites, believing in Replacement Theory and White genocide, and it still would have no bearing on whether white supremacy is a real thing and threat to people who live in America.
It's so funny how this was originally a liberal talking point, but now it's become a conservative one used to never have to acknowledge white supremacy and/or gun laws and the role they play in terrorism or political violence.

What's next? Watch them bring up a lack of class solidarity or income inequality, as long as it distracts from assault rifles

At this point black people should just start legally arming themselves as well. Maybe that's what will need to happen to finally address gun laws in a meaningful way, like what happened with the Black Panthers in California in the 60s.

Yep. My twin brother and I took the necessary steps to arm ourselves after the Rittenhouse shit. I hate that America's most avid gun enthusiasts are the demographic less likely to need a gun, while the people more often finding themselves victimized or targeted are less likely to own them.
I want every black and brown and LGBTQIA+ person in this country to get strapped. Until then, 2Aers won't move to pass any gun reform. As long as they're the ones with the power, they want that power to be absolute.

I sort of wonder if the NRA would still support reform in that instance if gun sales really would increase in that kind of volume. Maybe it sort of pales in comparison to the average enthusiast buying dozens of them at any given time. But it's worth remembering that when The Black Panther Party was participating in Copwatching, marching and patrolling while armed, both Republicans and Democrats were pro Gun Control, even the NRA supported Reagan's Mulford Act.

Some conservatives are very aware of that fact, too.
I once was on a republican discord server to discuss with people and in a heated discussion, I told them that it is in their best interest to look after young minority people because ignoring their needs too long will lead to tensions that might erupt in violent protests.
Instead of either denying the situation is bad, they seemed to recognize that but said that in case of tensions, they are ready to mow done any rioter.
I told them that if they really want that conflict, demographics runs against them, as young, ablebodied people cannot be suppressed forever, even if they use deadly force. And they said they will always have more guns than them.
For me it was a lapse of good judgement to think about a racial endwar and i was purely using the argument to show that oppressing your own demographic future is a bad idea, but for them it was tuesday. They got their racial endwar all figured out.

And to address this part specifically, it's obviously because the people least likely to need a gun are that way because they aren't perceived as a threat to capital (or they own the capital themselves). And for that reason they are the ones "allowed" to own guns.

My Dad has worked with a bunch of these freaks, I know about them too well.
They essentially chose to live in another state with laxer gun laws so they could own as many ARs as they want. And most of them would speak in fantasies of an upcoming race war, which has led to them stockpiling ammunition. One would literally talk about scenarios like a race war breaking out and if "they" crossed the Bay Bridge, he'd be waiting for them.

This was my intent by that statement btw. Not that white people can't find themselves in situations where they might need a gun to protect themselves. That they won't be viewed as potential aggressors simply for owning them.

Dang, this was an intense weekend. Shootings, incoming race war, nato expansion... From what I'm reading the shooter appears to be going for some manner of martyrdom? As in, putting himself on the stage, surrendering eventually, saying he is pleading guilty to charges... I suppose hoping to finally start the race wars? The threat of him inspiring others feels a tad too real this time.

It sucks that the good guys would lose if we actually fought because we're not armed. We definitely have the numbers, but we don't have the arms. Unless we just got Biden to glass certain neighborhoods tactically...

Considering that the military and law enforcement lean quite heavily conservative, and of the variety who subsists almost exclusively on toxic vigilante gunsturbation fantasies, I don't think the tactical glassing would pan out as you'd hope.
I very much doubt we have reached the worst part of the worldwide food shortages. If anything things keep getting worst by the day. Freight costs are still, somehow and against any form of common sense, increasing, countries are beginning to shut down exports to ensure their own food security is not compromised (though this is a short sighted measure because, you know, other countries can retaliate), the grain or fat scarcity probably won't get any better this year...
Regarding home gardens... things you probably need to grow food in large-ish amounts like fertilizers and who knows what else are being hit hard simultaneously by the ukraine-russia war, the sanctions against russia and the container/freight crisis.. So good luck trying to grow enough food to feed your family in your garden.
In the grands scheme of things... I think in developed countries food will simply get more expensive and perhaps you won't find some stuff but in general people will have enough to be healthy. In developing countries though... all bets are off. not a particularly hot take but.... yeah.
On the upside, maybe the US and other countries can take the opportunity to finally address their morbid obesity problem and lose some weight now that some food items will be scarce for the foreseeable future. Drop those body fat percentages from full on walrus to overweight at least...

Oh right, now I haven't read the stories but I've seen a few headlines regarding baby formula.... I suppose it makes sense that you have baby formula scarcity when a variety of vegetable fats, grains AND protein (whey specifically is relevant but other protein as well) is only getting more scarce. There's not a solution for that barring massive government intervention forcing producers to sell what there is for baby formula... Which would be a massive FU to everyone else who uses it (from supplements to elderly care..). Since last year I've been wondering if we might hit a point at which powdered milk becomes scarce because one of the ingredients for making it keeps getting more expensive due to freight costs...
“There's plenty of blame to go around here,” says one expert.

From what I've read, the baby formula stuff is in part due to only three companies controlling the entire industry and it not being very profitable in the first place. One of the company's main factories has been shut down since February due to contamination issues. So it's not solely about supply chain issues.

This isn't the first time I've heard this rebuttal, but realistically the soldiers have no say over what gets bombed and likely don't know what's happening until it's happening. Only interference they could pose is if they get a heads up on Operation Defascify America Through Tactical Nuke from one of the higher ups.
I don't condone nuking off all the southern states to be clear. After all, I live in one of them. I'm just saying... if it came down to it, it's an option.
