Reading a bit more on this I am not sure of what biden else biden could do here. Mandate masks? It's not something biden should do on his own, he'd need his health advisors or whichever relevant folk to at least advice on specific policy. None of what I've read so far suggests biden is actively ignoring something like this.

Yes? Probably? The issue is this "guidance" we're getting is only appropriate if we're talking about regional surges, but it's obvious from wastewater testing that this is pretty widespread. Public health policy might be unpopular among the throngs of older voters he's aimlessly obsessed with appealing to, but public health policy shouldn't be a political issue in the first place.

Mandate mask, push getting vaccine or booster, and get companies to let people work remotely again where they can. The way the first covid was eventually handled. It only got even worse than it should have because they acted like covid was over or going away, rolling back protections and safeties.

It was in response to Houthi attacks on commercial ships or something. But the juxtaposition of bombing Yemen for it's consequences levied at Israel for the destruction in Gaza, while Israel continues on doing what they're doing and even bombing Lebanon is just absurd.

I don't think the bar set by the US Military is whether people are killed in attacks or not. The issue here is the response being what it is in response to those trying to harm commerce. And these attacks are happening because of Israel.
