I think the last weapon might be connected to the "Will of D" which has been mentioned several times by Robin in the same general vein as the poneglyphs. Several other people mention "The Will of D" as well throughout the stories. I doubt the Will of D started w/ Roger and it would be interesting to see if one of the weapons every generation was born into 'free spirits' to balance out the others. Or possibly descendants? Anyway I think it may possibly a combination of an incredible will power, the ability to befriend almost anyone (including the holders of the other weapons) and the ability to overhear Sea Kings...

Just my general thoughts on the matter and yes I could be WAY off. :super

Guys, isnt it possible that uranus is the will of D.its something dats been passed down from ancient times.i know it doesnt make a lot of sense now.but as more stuff is getting revealed, dat may just be it.and will have a big effect on the predicted war.i cnt remember the fortune tellers name from fishman island
bt as she said dat luffy will bring the destruction of the island.it could be dat she meant it may happen during yhe war to come.

Well, i said a long time ago that i believed Blackbeard and his new power to be similar to an ancient weapon. So i've been thinking and it seems very plausible to me that the last ancient weapon is Blackbeard's devil fruit. This has a lot to do with the recent events regarding BB's fruit. According to greek mythology, Uranus threw his children into Tartarus, a prison, similarly to the well known story of Zeus and the Titans. This kind of reminds me of what blackbeard could be doing, he captures powers as if he was the prison himself. This is a power on the same scale of both weapons so far introduced, and it kind of adds up to the scenario: The strongest battleship, pulled by sea kings, and the captain possesses the strongest devil fruit, one capable of nulify and capture all others. On the other hand, it could make some sense being related to the sky, but then again, i dont see how Pluton adds up to that theory..

My 2 cents

With our luck, Uranus is going to be some teenage boy who accidentally stumbles upon this great energy/power called Uranus, joins the Strawhat pirates, and only after they've been together on a few adventures does Robin realize that he is actually the last weapon. It WOULD give the Strawhat pirates the last ancient weapon, and would draw them into an ancient weapons battle, not to mention their friendship with Shirahoshi.

Jokes aside, I have a gut feeling that the weapons are going to be based upon sea, land and sky, since that's the territory that the pirates have explored. Shirahoshi is the ancient weapon of the sea, the war ship is the weaopn of land, and some strange creature will be the weapon of the sky - unless it is in fact some strange devil fruit that gives one the ability to control great weather diasters, or rule the skies with ease.

Re: One Piece Chapter 761 Discussion/ 762 Prediction

How is it not the right word ? Should I say "stealing" or "borrowing" instead ?

Pluton has nothing to do with my theory . Lol but yes it means the god of the underworld in Greek . But where was Pluton created ? In water 7 . Water 7 was a France based island . Pluto in France means Pluton . Pluton also means "Missile" in French . This French nuclear is a SRBM . Knowing that Pluton is a warship strong enough to compete with the other two Ancient weapons could be true . Now I could be TOTALLY off with my Pluton theory but I personally think it doesn't have anything to do with Greek .

Seakings could be consider the largest known species in the One Piece world . With million of them under your control how can you go wrong ? Also we know some Seakings are extremely powerful and smart , so Conquer Haki doesn't work on the strong willed . Now you're Shirahoshi being a bad Poseidon is something I can agree with . But she's meant to be a powerful ally later in the future .

Your completely right about Ryuma being the first mention of killing a dragon . But I don't agree with dragons being lame at all . I hope your not saying that off Momonosuke and that Lame Dragon Vegapunk tried to recreate ? Because it seems that real One Piece dragons are strong and smart . Most likely they are equal or above Seakings . If anything whoever get thos ancient wepons will be evil . Maybe Blackbeard ?
Pluton(missiles) could have to do with Plutonium or the Greek god. The French like to call their weapons and such by names that have to do with Greek or Roman mythology, like Ariane.
And didn't Shanks knock out the lord of the Coast? Someone like him with a strong haki should be able to knock out most sea kings.
Real Dragons should be extremely rare or extint. That's the whole point of Vegapunk's research, or else it would have been possible to find a real dragon egg and raise it.

Well your right , but like the other dude saying Pluton in Greek does indeed means god of the underworld . I looked up Plutonism that have a lot of different meanings from rocks and volcanos . I don't understand what that have to do with missiles doe , but with Oda imagination who knows .

Shanks did knock out that sea King (I don't know about King of the coast or whatever) but clearly that seaking was nothing compare to the ones that came to help cry baby shishi on Fishman island .

About the dragons, chances are theirs a undiscovered island that only Roger only found . Who knows If tht dragon that Roger had could reproduce .

What I meant with Pluton being the god of the underworld and being a ship is that the name and god that is linked to each ancient weapon must not hint to it's abilities. Poseidon as king over every water commanding over Sea Kings does hint to it but Pluto disproves that they have to be linked, they still could be of course since we don't know everything about the ancient weapons.
I did not mean to say that dragons per se are lame. The third ancient weapon being a person that commands them is lame since Poseidon is already that kind of thing and a repetition of that would be lacking creativity and diversity.

I don't think the bad guys are going to get thr ancient weapons. They were built to fight the 20 Kings, or so we are told, so the Tenryuubito/WG should have weapons on par hidden somewhere. They won the war as far we know so they might use them in the war that happens after the One Piece is found

Re: One Piece Chapter 761 Discussion/ 762 Prediction

I absolutely understand all your points and I think I have to explain my point a bit better: In my opinion Bonney's and Sugar's devil fruits simply don't effect the function of the heart/brain (yeah I know, OP logic, but still we have to take it...). For example: Sugar stays a child on the outside, but has the brain of an adult, which points to the fact that her brain hasn't been effected by that little sideeffect of her DF. So we can assume her brain ages (she was a child when she ate the DF), which would automatically mean her dead at a certain point of time, because of certain reasons that come along with the aging of the brain (slower sensory transduction, which also effects the heart and leads to a inevitable heart attack at a certain point of time).

But we could simply look at it the OP way of logic: Oda (Doflamingo in fact) made it clear, that THIS fruit (and no other) is considered by some people as the ultimate devil fruit because of the power to provide "immortality". He made it so shocking/dramatic and focused a whole chapter on it, that I'm simply quite sure other devil fruits, which were shown before, don't have this epic power as some sideeffect. ;)
well, the brain doesnt have to age for the person to start to think like an adult, by the age sugars body seems to be on it is enough as much as brain development goes for her brain to function somewhat like an adults, it is the experience that trully makes someone an adult, so much so that there are mental disorders in which one starts behaving just like a child, even exactly the same as a newborn baby simply because they forgot everything, it is a diferent type of amnesia in which only the memories are lost, it is a type in which all the experience of the brain is also lost, and when that experience is lost the person becomes a baby, regardless of how developed their brain is, as for why laws fruit is special, i said before that even if there are other fruit which give imortality laws is the only one that gives to someone else all in one go, and just the fact that it gives imortality is already special even if there are tow others that do something similar.
also i think that bonney was being used to make the five elder stars and maybe some more people immortal, i dont know how will her power actually work but i really do hope it is like that :P

Yeah I already seen the renewed version from manga stream and Kissmanga . Clearly one Translator is supporting dozens of Manga websites . Amazing .

Uranus in Greek is the name of the Sky God . The embodiment of sky and heavens .

poseidon in Greek is the name of the sea god .

Since Poseidon is in command of of Seakings , I made a educational guess that Uranus was a object or "person" with the ability to call up dragons . Using the Ope Ope fruit , either stealing the Objects or person to call up dragons or stealing the knowledge from somebody brain or scroll ect .
while the relation between dragons and sky is intersting and fitting, i dont think its binding, remeber pluto is a ship, a ship that can be built by people if they have the schematics, so from that we already know that the weapons are not all beings, i for one think poseidon is the only one that will be so, maybe uranus will be not a person that controlls dragons, but an actual dragon, not the ones created by vegaphunk, but a real one that is giant and superpowerfull, the size of the egg alone indicates that the actuall creature will be much more massive then the ones we saw, it would also be interesting if uranus is something diferent from both a living being and an object, what if it is a location? its a "sky" weapon, so what if it is a place, maybe a place that allows you to launchstuff into space that the ancient civilization left behind, if you can launch stuff to space and calculate its trajectory you can define its landing place and use that as a superweapon, imagine launching a giant bomb anyhere you want in the world?
the possibilities are endelees for what uranus is, i actually hope its not the national treasure of the tenriubito, i think if the national treasure is something diferent that adds another element to the story it will be more interesting.

dude, the ancient weapons FOLLOW a greek god theme, to say that pluto is not one of the obvious three major greek gods uranus, posseidon and pluto, is just silly, pluto was not created at water seven, it was a weapon of the ancient kingdom, and it was first mentioned at alabasta where there is a poneglyph that shows where it is, the only conection pluto has with water seven is that tom lived there, but tom didnt invent pluto, he has the schematics on how to build a copy of it, so pluto has nothing to do with french or missiles as far as we know, it does, however, have the obvious conection with the tow other ancient weapons that are all named after the greek gods.

precisely, i also think that the national treasure is something will not be an ancient weapon but will be a weapon of world gov itself, something that explains how the hell they defeated a much more advanced nation.

Re: One Piece Chapter 761 Discussion/ 762 Prediction

I think it is premature to say Pluton has nothing to do with Greek mythology. Foremost, Poseidon was able to summon the Kraken. Likewise, Shirahosi is able to call forth sea kings. Maybe there is a penultimate sea king we have yet to meet that could equate the Kraken. Second, to get to the underworld required crossing the river Styx. I imagine Pluton is a reference to that. We were even given a hint that we will see the underworld in the FI arc when they talked about the complexity of the deep sea currents. As for Uranus, a sky god, I imagine it has something to do with a cloud colony and possibly weather. Might we see Enel again? We've revisited everyone else...

Re: One Piece Chapter 761 Discussion/ 762 Prediction

Btw. Someone notices it also? Infos of Poseidon where found in Skypia (the Sky) and we found the weapon on the deepest sea. Infos of Pluton where found in the land of Sand (the Desert) so maybe Pluton is the Arc we saw in Fishman Island.

The Reason is easy: We know Pluton is a Ship, The Sea Kings are pulling the Ship so Uranus is most likely the last Part of the SeaKings-Arc-Ship and just together it is the Real weapon (or it is no weapon...would be funny!)

The Sea Kings will have to pull Noah and move Fishman Islands citizens to the surface. Pluton having to be pulled by the Sea Kings to be functionable would be weird.

Noah is in no way Pluton. Luffy almost destroyed it and it should be an ancient weapon with a power to make the world tremble.

The question with the tenryuubitos treasure is that if it is a weapon of mass destruction why would the knowledge about it's existence be so dangerous for the tenryuubito. I mean them hiding a dangerous weapon would not be really shocking, would it? Since it is a treasure they must benefit from it. Maybe it is the last of the ancient race/sea devils growing DF's for them?

Wouldn't surprise me if he finds the super weapon on the moon and comes back down to cause chaos, only to get his ass completely destroyed by Luffy.

Dunno why but I have been getting the feeling that in the end it's Luffy and co who will gather the weapons, or know their locations. I think the same happened to Roger. I don't see anyone else using them because they would lack the knowledge only found in the Poneglyphs. The purpose of the weapons themselves might not be what we expect. As said in a theory about All blue , the weapons might have been built to change the geography of the world. Especially if we think about Poseidon and its role. To be able to control Sea kings, not only will help bring Noah to the surface, but it could benefit greatly to humans, especially when crossing Calm Belt.
Uranus is the only one left of the weapons that wasn't introduced, the main theory is that it's a living creature that controls the skies.A dragon would fit the description, but I personally would prefer it if just like Pluton it wasn't a living creature, in other words a vessel that would allow space travel, or just flying.

I think too that the SH's or the anti WG party will get the weapons and take revenge symbolically on the WG by using the Ancient Weapons of the ancient kingdom against them.

Wasn't Uranus in the All Blue theory the means by which it is achieved. Destroying the red line and uniting all blues?

Well it might be, but you really cant count a theory as a proof or a fact in another theory can you?

Anyways, I just thought of another possibility:
3 weapons similar3 stages of alchemy
Comprehension (??? Uranus)
Destruction (Pluton)
Reconstruction (Poseidon / Shirahoshi)

Alternately, the hindu trinity (trimuthi) cycle
Creation (Uranus)
Preserver of protector (Poseidon / Shirahoshi)
Destruction (Pluton)

What could happen in One Piece is the requirement to use all the 3 together, (possibly one piece) which was Roger's dream. He couldn't complete it as decoding the pluton would require indepth skills in reading poneglyphs.

I think the adam tree itself could be one...

We basically know what two of the three ancient weapons are and that the ancient weapons are not just inanimate objects but can be a living being like Shirahoshi(Poiseden). Pluton is a warship with unbelievable destructive power that being said even though Franky destroyed the blueprints I am pretty sure he has Pluton's blueprint memorized. So that means that Luffy basically already has one of the ancient weapons in his possession. With Robin in his crew he has the ability to actually understand the poneglyphs. I believe the ancient weapon Uranus is the device that Enel discovers on his voyage to the moon the device that was shown that it had to be powered by lightning to operate. A lot of people won't agree with this but this is my theory slash prediction. Enel will return with ancient weapon Uranus under his control due to his god complex he will seek out powerful opponents to prove his power. Enel will defeat a number of people on the Grandline and in the New World this will peak the interest of Black Beard. Black Beard will confront Enel they will fight in a rather epic clash but Teach will win taking Enel's devil fruit power and the ability required to operate Uranus. This will solidify Teachs place as the final villain of One Piece. Because if Teach acquired Enel's devil fruit Luffy would have to be the one to face him.

Pluton: Named after the god of the underworld. A battleship with the power to destroyed entire islands.
Poseidon: Named after the god of the seas. A mermaid born with the power to control Sea Kings.
Uranus: Named after the god of the sky. Nothing is known about it.

They represent the three environments from One Piece world: the sea (where the continents are), the bottom of the sea (where Fishman Island is) and the sky ocean (where Skypeia is). It is also where Robin found the Poneglyphs containing the information about the acient weapons.

Both Pluton and Poseidon are related to the sea and important aspects of One Piece world: ships (as this is the Golden Age of Piracy) and Sea Kings (responsible for the existence of the Grand Line).

Speculations:

Uranus is related to the Devil Fruit powers.

Pluton is a weapon, Poseidon is a power, and Uranus is knowledge.

Pluton is destruction, Poseidon is control, and Uranus is will.

I thought Uranus was the ability to control or become a Dragon . (Momosuke Cough Cough) since it has something to do with the sky and such .

I think I have a theory about thIe three ancient weapons of the Void Century. I think their names are a clue to how they work. Since the names are based on Greek gods, I think the power they posse deals with whatever the nature the god they were name after was:

Poseidon, God of the Sea. We have already seen that Shirahoshi's power enables her command vast armies of Sea Kings that are powerful enough to destroy an entire island on a whim.

Pluton - Pluto, also known as Hades, the God of the Underworld. I think this means that whatever Pluton is, it has the power to kill millions.

Finally, Uranus. While we haven't learned what Uranus is yet, since Greek mythology describes Uranus as a sky deity, then its likely that whatever the nature of it is involves the sky, quite possibly a monstrous bird or flying machine.

Does anyone think this theory works? If anyone has already submitted this theory, please let me know.
