The big group dominating the second half of the manga. We've seen them a lot, yet we hardly know what they're after. Why did they free a bunch of highly dangerous ghouls from the CCG's prison Kokuria? And why did they go to the length of getting Yoshimura? And has everyone inside of Aogiri Tree the same goal, or are there possibly ghouls with their own agenda like Ayato or someone from Pierrot?
All we know so far is that the One-Eyed King seems to be their leader and that, according to Nico, "they want to uncover the liars". Goes hand in hand with Takasugi Sen telling Amon about some dark-rooted secrets of the CCG. It almost felt like they're hinting at the CCG being responsible for the existence of Ghouls, but that's only speculation on my part?
So what are your thoughts?
