So it seems like the manga is approaching the end kinda soon, more or less. The chairman's been defeated and Class E has asserted dominance. All that's left now is dealing with Korosensei.

I'm not entirely satisfied with the Chairman's backstory. He's still kind of unhinged. Like what he did with his ex-student's bullies is flat out unnerving. And then the conversation he had with his son in the car about suing one another....it just didn't make me like him. In a way I'm glad his backstory was handled but I don't know how much the Chairman understood and agreed with him, as much as he just admitted defeat.

Also, the fact that Korosensei mentions he became the kind of teacher Asano used to be feels like a clue towards who he really is. What if Korosensei used to be the other one of Asano's pupils, the kid with glasses? And the mysterious woman in the first chapter is the girl? It would definitely tie up that lose end.

Though the dialogue flowed well and the symbolism Matsui used was near perfect, the conclusion wasn't as satisfying as I wanted it to be. Chairman Asano still feels like a mysterious man. I guess its more realistic that way.

Damn, Mach 20 Scans really live up to their name. The RAWs for the newest chapter came out today and they already translated it.
Like I thought, Shiro is up to something. That stage play was also pretty funny and how Karma teased Nagisa about his "elephant" was classic.
It seems like the last plan of the "United Nations Alliance against Koro-Sensei" is also ready to begin, with the reaction of the principal.

Kayano being the "monster" Shiro was talking about was a magnificant plot twist. It came out of nowhere, but the clues were always there.

Now I'm totally satsifed Kayano has been nothing but a supporting character thus far. I'm so impressed by her acting and her ability to use Nagisa as a smokescreen. No wonder her seat is right next to him, and she appears to hang out around him whenever she can. More importantly, her lack of focus as a character now suddenly makes sense.

I just love it! I can't wait to know why she has those tentacles...or if she's a normal student at all? I want to know so badly.

The first time Shiro apeared it looked like he was looking at Nagisa, while he was in reality looking at Kayano. Kayano also didn't go into the water when Koro-Sensei built the pool for the class, because the tentacles swell up if they get in contact with water.
There are probably more hints but these are the ones people found out on Batoto.

There really were hints but she always acted like a normal student. Here I thought Nagisa was special... Wow.

The clues are totally there. Matsui played us all. And even if you still think its an asspull, don't you think Kayano benefits from a little more characterization since her pudding chapter?

This is from chapte 31 and you can see a shadow of Kayano's tentacle sticking out.

Chapter 80, and you can see a part of Kayano's hair is curled up while the rest are pointed straight. That's drawn while she says a true assassin doesn't even reveal their nature to their closest friends. And the bottom dialogue "If its a jelly like blade, I have tons of others" -- she meant literally, because she has her own tentacles.

There's also other stuff like Shiro talking about "the monster". The monster is her. Previous translations wrote the pronouns as masculine because we thought he was talking about Nagisa. But he wasn't. They were gender-neutral pronouns and Kayano was always present when Shiro was talking about it. We got rused.

And lets not forget Kayano's fixation on boobs. She got distracted enough that they lost the volleyball match. And when Irina was introduced, Kayano was very vocally against Irina because she had big boobs and she was all over Korosensei, who Kayano seems to be have a crush on.

I thought the thing with the big boobs was because Bitch-Sensei kissed Nagisa. Never thought it was because Kayano is a yandere for Koro-Sensei.

I thought this chapter would go into a s3 if they go that far, since it would make sense to stop an s2 after the exams of the previous chapters. [If we assume this is the final act of the manga going on]

Basically Kayano had always appeared as an outsider, also try to read the translations by Aegon I noticed the speed scans changes some nuances altogether which would help greatly in understanding this chapter:

Important lines being:

box: I was also worried when itona-kun showed up\\

ka: that is what it was decided… and I was sent here in a straight line\\

Aside that everything Kayano apparently had been doing was building up to this point, as we know from her own earlier attempt she is thorough, so if you want more concrete hints just follow the succession of scenes in the current chapter - they are the most solid hints apparently with regard to her plan (i.e. making the area smell like fish, knowing his weakness to a pitfall trap courtesy of god of death, using Nagisa as a smokescreen again by using his blood lust to hide her own, her expulsion to Class E, and of course the porn mag weakness via her classmates). All her flash backs were incorporated into the elements of her assassination as you notice, as well as bringing out her similarities to Koro sensei.

I admit reading into her earlier actions felt like it was reaching but nevertheless this course of actions are at least plausible in so much that we know how methodical she can be with her efforts just on her first attempt alone. So it isn't too out of character to see her latest attempt as being one only she could devise.

Man. this totally caught me off-guard. but it was there, all of it was there. only with perfect use of subtlety. She never seemed to be much more than a possible love interest to Nagisa, but then again, pretty much every character in this story got to show off at some point, and she had definitely had a lot o screentime without doing anything that memorable...

it is just a guess.. but i think there is no choice...if i follow..principal´s lines correctly.. as "remains as a teacher"..

i think there is a chance..of she diying here.. ergo,,, koro broking the promise of not harming a student...

she is the perfect killer indeed,,,planning all this..long time ago..each day on class,

Chapter is out... Looks like Kana pretty much sets the cog for the finale in so much that we're finally about to delve into the background of Koro sensei, after this I presume the only other arc left will be Shiro's own attempt - I wonder if he plans to recruit her afterwards. Regardless... Kana is one scary character I love it!

Edit: I actually think Yukimura Aguri was among the former 3 students of the chairman, the girl in the class. Putting aside any "unknown" characters I can't imagine any teacher in a right state of mind wanting to teach in Class-E unless they were either really idealistic or held strong sentimental value to the class. In which case I can only guess that Yukimura Aguri was the former student of the chairman, she fits the bill on both accounts since she had a very good teacher to inspire her, considering how similar Koro sensei's teaching style was to the old chairman, and the high likelihood of her influencing him through stories and such. It would also answer why he specifically chose the school as well, and why he became a teacher in so much that he'd succeed where she failed.

I seem to recall having seen a flashback of Korosensei in the process of becoming the purple-thing he is nowadays while holding a wounded/dying woman in his arms, with her being the one to tell him to teach kids as he'd make a wonderful teacher. I'm going to guess Kayano is this woman's sister, although I have no clue as to in what chapter did that scene appear.

Pretty interesting chapter in any case
