Disagree. Primarily because I don't think it's CiS, I simply don't think August was capable of doing much more, He's at the level of Gildarts+Cana, that's all. But say it was CiS, Eileen could still win. A couple dragon swipes and August is done. Enchantment is also the most bullshit magic in the manga. She'd be able to counter most of August's nonsense without a problem.
Why would the most versatile mage in the series engage in mostly fist fight? Makes no sense.
Why did he use suicide spell, when Gildarts lost his ONLY means of damaging August? Makes no sense.

Enchantment is BS, but August's is even more. He's basically all the BS magic combined into one person.
Whatever Eileen does, so can August. He can copy them and nullify. Copying a spell isn't really hax, it is just learning fast. Nullifying is hax.
Maybe you argue that "August can't nullify Eileen tier spells". Well, Gildarts hits harder than human Eileen and he nullified his spells. Even if MP argument comes into play, August has MP on the same level as Eileen.
Even if August can't directly nullify Eileen's enchantment using the nullify part of his copy magic, for the sake of argument, he can still counter them with his own enchantments that he copied from Eileen, considering that Wendy could counter Eileen's enchantments with enchantments.
I do agree that dragon Eileen has the attack power to put down August in maybe 3 hits.
But will she get those hits in? Combining meteor + speed magic + mind read will take August to a completely different class of speed/CQC.
And all August needs is a single charged attack, and dragon Eileen gets one shot.
Yeah, that doesn't mean anything. His main hax working doesn't mean his side hax works, all hax works differently. We don't even know that he wasn't already using Cobra and Racer's hax in the fight to begin with. Does he have anything else that would be useful against Gildarts? Reflect maybe, but thats about it, useless against Eileen.

The thing is, we have seen refraction from Midnight working on Erza, who was in his tier back in OS arc. So, it does demonstrate that refraction can work against opponents of the same tier as the user.
August copied refraction, meaning that tools with potency at least on or below his tier are useless on him if he uses refraction.
We know he wasn't using mind read, or else he would've known what Gildarts was planning.
We know he wasn't using speed magic, because whenever speed magic is used by Racer, Mashima shows it as the typical "blitz" speed.
August was Gildarts tier in physical stats in his base.
We do however know August used meteor because of the meteor aura, but for a grand total of one time in the entire fight, and he managed to blitz Gildarts with it. I mean, if he choses to engage in fist fight, at least he should've used these three lmao. Like I said, complete CIS
