Steve-O! :(

I think he later stated it was for his grandmother that he did not want to live in Vancouver. Being the blunt guy he is, I never thought it was an excuse, since no other team that could possibly select him was brimming with bright future talent at that time, either.

^ But rookies don't care much about talent
bad teams meands more minutes and better stats as the player get used to the game. What factors is the location and the franchise reputation. Vancouver was a 3 year old team in a foreign country.
And "he publicly announced that he did not want to play for the Grizzlies, citing the distance from his Maryland home, taxes, endorsements, and God's will."
selfish dude

Well, tell that to DeMarcus Cousins, who asked for a trade in his freaking second season in the league :XD
Then again, yeah, that's not the norm, I know.

He was selfish, for sure. However, I don't really like the political stance in matters like that, so, I will give it to him for being open about it, no matter how egocentric his reasons were.
A pity he got to play in the era he did and not today where everyone fangasms for having a combo guard in their team, valuing combo guards much more than the previous decade.

The LeBron saga will totally be worth it if Scav has to switch from Heat fan to Cav's. Or maybe he will follow Bosh to the Rockets :teehee

Oh man, this was awesome. Glad I accidentally woke up (midnight here) at the right time.

And so the domino effect of the off season begins with this...

Spurs again broke up another back-to-back championship team.:teehee

This is great. I just love the guy. A real human being: he do mistakes, he admit, he correct, he has flaws, he has qualities ... I consider him the greatest athlete in the world.

Now he is back and the rest of his career will be a long attempt to gain a championship.

I still can't believe LeBron went back to Cleveland. It's unthinkable. Cleveland, even with LeBron, isn't in a position to win the NBA title, perhaps make it to the Finals, but not win the title. For all people talked up Cleveland's young talent, they only won 33 games last season. Kyrie's not going to have as much of the ball as he did without LeBron, so his PPG are going to suffer. However, Kyrie's probably the best ball handler, other than LeBron himself, that LeBron's played with, so that will help. The supporting cast in Cleveland isn't that great, however. On the other hand, if LeBron wins now, it'll be all because of him and he'll be the sole superstar.

Maybe read his piece. He said he's not expecting to win a championship right away with the Cavs. Its management still needs to make some moves to make it a contender but still, I do think it was the best decision.

Aaaand, the Rox just got rid of Jeremy Lin's salary (traded to the Lakers)... Expecting the signing of Bosh and/or the matching of Parson's offer sheet for the next 24 hours.

Maybe Kevin Love is on the way... just maybe

And I'm not a LeBron fan... but I really liked this. Such a feel good story. the league is so much about business that shit like that surprise us a little. Someone wrote this and I agree... lebron was born and raised in Ohio, become pro there, never moved til his change to the heat. His 4 years in Miami where like College, he went off, had fun, learned, suffered, matured and now he’s back.
On another note… Lin to the Lakers, Melo is off, he’s between Chicago and the Knicks
With that Gasol's pobably off too
Another year sucking hard on lakerland

Trading for Love isn't much of a stretch. The Cav's own three 2015 first round picks (their own, Memphis, Miami). Build a package around some combination of Andrew Wiggins, Dion Waiters, Anthony Bennet, and Tristan Thompson with Memphis 2015 1st round pick (1 -5 and 5 - 30 protected in 2015 - 2016, top 5 in 2017 - 2018, unprotected 2019) or Miami's (top 10 protected 2015 - 2016, unprotected 2017). As long as they can keep either Wiggins or Waiters it's a good deal for Cleveland. Starting line up of Kyrie (PG), Wiggins or Waiters (SG), LeBron (SF), Love (PF), and Varejao (C) would be best in the east. Love has already said he would sign an extension to play with LeBron.

Gasol in Chicago and Pierce in Washington... both are good adds for their teams playoff hoops

I'm kinda disappointed lebron left, but i'm happy for him it's his decision, i like Lebron and i'll keep supporting him. I just think cavs don't deserve him after all the hate they gave him when he left.
that been said i'm still rooting for Miami (sorry to disappoint you haters), Heat ain't doomed like people are saying. i'm exited to see Bosh playing as a top dog again, he changed his style and make a lot of sacrifices to play with lebron. Now he can play like he old self again. Didn't follow Wade's offseason move, just like everybody i was focused on lebron descision but i'm sure Wade will sign with the Heat again. He have been drafted by that team, won 3 championship there. I think his level dropped not just because of injuries but also because he have been relying too much on Lebron this season, just like the rest of the team. He was productive on last season's finale but he just disappeared on this season. Now that lebron is gone he'll have to step up his game but i still believe Wade is not done (like most are saying).
On another note i'm disappointed the Rockets left Parsons to the Mavericks and not many team went after him the kid is great. He was my favorite player on the Rockets this season. Also disappointed by Melo decision, while i'm not a fan or anything, it's still a shame watching a talented guy like him wasting his career on the knicks. At some point on this season those guys weren't even trying to win, they played the lamest defense ever and their offense minus melo was a joke. the only talk about the knicks was JR smith untying shoes and felton's trouble with the law. I don't like the Bulls but at least the Bulls fight til the end and Noah always try to win, they would have been a better team for Melo.
I like how Pat Riley and Wade showed how a classy organization act when their golden guy is leaving for another team in contrast to the Cavs
