I agree, it's why I'm disappointed. I want 20th Century Boys and Pluto's awesomeness to be back.
I reallly don't see what is the point with Billy Bat.

I am just disappointed with the current arc, I mean I really thought we were going to see 9/11 as the next arc, though I suppose the mangaka wanted to keep things moving in Kevin's times, I suspect we will see 9/11 and 2012 after this arc as Jackie clearly referenced them and so did the bat I think.

There are raws until chapter 75 at least (from the 77 published), and I really can't wait to see what's coming. I agree with Josef K., we have not yet reached the core plot, I think by now there just have been some bits here and there that would make sense around volume 12 or 13 at least (thinking we are around volume 9 now) and that It would last around 15-20 volumes in the end, since there are a lot of things to explain yet.
This last arc is being a bit slow paced, perhaps preparing carefully the scenario for the next arc developing some more on the present time (around the 2000's). I hope they don't last too much to reach there.

Well as much as I think it might be a drag, when discovering the mysteries of the Billy Bat universe the author must be as detailed as possible to untangle the web he has set up. I mean he sure is taking history to the core. But it was expected for us to learn more about Einstein and all. This is after all a conspiratorial manga. I suppose we will be getting even moon Landing stuff as it was seen that the bat is on the moon, quite the long way to go, but I think the Japan thing and the scroll plot are less interesting than the actual events and the characters like Oswald was.

So it is up at about chapter 80 with raws and we are at 74 with translating and the story is headed towards the moon landing conspiracy? I grow tired of the cold war personally, I want Urasawa to take on the more challenging conspiracies. As I mentioned the more recent ones.

Good to see it is going to be picked up. This is a long arc I feel, if you can call it that, I really want to know some of the recent dialogue in the manga. If they do not get around to clean it and such can you post the trans? Thanks in advance btw. Raw plus trans is always good.

It still amazes me how it is not getting a lot of attention either way, I do not know how it is doing in Japan? I think it has to be pretty popular, or well, standard as far as Urasawa manga go, it should keep up with the rest of them in terms of popularity.

Oh so it changed, my bad for reading just the raws then, I decided to catch up with English scans when they catch up to the raw. Though in the raw you can not see that announcement.

Well, chapter 83 was all about Devive and him attacking the police chief, it seems the plot thickens in the raws though:

Spoiler: 84, 85

So great two raw chapters, I wonder what Kevin said to Devive to make him angry, Kevin is in a trouble, that was chapter 85. In 84 we see the old Devive attacking the big Asian man, Zofuus sensei, I wonder if the timelines are beginning to mix. Plus Zofuu meets young Kevin, the arc is headed for a finale. After that the scroll time traveling arc is next. Plus I want to see what happened to Godzilla's director and the fake Moon Landing.

Well 84 is out, it could not be seen from the raw, but clearly Urasawa is mixing in racism again, it seems that is a theme here, families often collide with that in this manga. Well if we can call Cissy and her murdering husband one. Now all that is left if for Cissy to try and change history since it seems the Japanese man died.

85 is out, nice work kewl and the other, really fast releases that allowed us to catch up! So we are getting the next chapter next week huh? Excited to see where this end, mostly it was skipping through time, these 8 chapters end with Kevin in mortal danger. Though for the next chapter I guess we are getting back to Cissy? But knowing Urasawa he can take us to the moon set. xD

Chapter 86 is out! Well we are centered in the Zofuu story which connects with his masters story, the master is dead and Cissy is about to give him the manuscript he left. Could they possible have something to do with the scroll?
