I was rereading some chapters today and I discovered something I hadn't noticed before. I've had my suspicions that there is a traitor in Golden Dawn but had no concrete evidence. However, this occurred right after Asta's first mission. One of the members of that group escaped and reported back to this person. Check out the crest on his robe. Perhaps this is the person working for Licht's group.

Yeah - my copy arrived in the mail today. I've already paid for vol. 3. (:

About the GD person here - that scene is the reasoning behind the whole 'William is Licht' or 'William is the betrayer'. I support those theories, but because of how obvious Tabata has made it - I'm really hoping it's wrong and he isn't an antagonists for this series. It'd be a nice twist if it was someone else entirely; but we need more members of the order to be introduced - especially Rangils.

No anime announcement at all so far - not sure where you heard that... I honestly don't expect an announcement for a while. But they have more then enough material for a first season. Let's just wait and see. Let's hope the next cover spread Black Clover has will be for that!!

As for thoughts on what could happen in the next chapter - the arc is over, Vetto is down for good. So I believe it will be them getting the stone, maybe getting ready to go (I'm half expecting Nero to have the stone again). Hopefully they take Kiato and Kahono to the surface so they can get proper healing as well. Let's also hope Luck and Magna are alright. (: But I expect there to be a lot of dialogue.

I'm hoping asta gets a new sword or weapon its time he got a new set

So this many chapters is enough for a first season and still have the same speed and intensity as the manga ?

Weird. But yeah, no announcement. My opinion is that they have enough for a first season if they have it as 25/26 episodes per season; it'd finish around the captains meeting if so, which I think be a good way to end a season. I just hope they don't do a BnHA and only have it for 13 episodes.

I don't think Asta will get a new weapon here - it'd be rather random of he did.

it's just that hte manga is very fast paced and its exciting to read it this way but the anime would need fillers and stuff and then i hate it i like when the anime is at the same intensity as the manga so i'm hoping the anime guys will wait more

Yeah, I hope they wait at atleast till there's about 100 chapters for the announcement, that'd be around February next year, when it's been serialized for 2 years. As long as it's done right, I don't mind the wait.

Look - he's back!!

Nero shows up with the stone, surprisng Asta again - let's hope this makes him realize he too has a stone in his possession back at Black Bull HQ. Looks like the people of the Water Temple/City thank them for saving their home and they're getting ready to leave.(?)

For those who were doubting Vetto being cut in half, it seem to be confirmed as it is mentioned that both his right and left side are covered by a cloth. But it looks like out of respect, they still held a ceremony and pray for his death. (M-my heart can't take this...)

Hahaa!! I knew this was going to happen.

Edit(I've added more text above): Oml - I-I have no words to describe the feels I am feeling right now...

I hope that this is true and that I am reading this right, I feel like Black Clover needs a moment like this.

if that spoiler is true then it confirms that Nero is no ordinary bird at all he's something very special and powerful for a bird to find the stone but nobody else and the fact it follows asta indicates it has a special dark purpose in the series

Yeah, Nero is a very suspicious bird. I've never been one to trust birds, so I've always got my eye on him. :L But yeah, it looks like out little mascot has a lot more to him then we know.

Yeah, Nero is a very suspicious bird. I've never been one to trust birds, so I've always got my eye on him. :L But yeah, it looks like out little mascot has a lot more to him then we know.

Ohhh - makes sense now. But yeah - if you think about it it's probably a 'he's just a bird, nothing to be suspicious about'. So it's completely understandable that they don't even think of it at all.

nice so noelle was granted the title of water goddess and there not leaving till tomorrow so hopefully next chapter is power upgrade where they get a few abilities the fact that asta walked around and found nothing is surprising to me

It's a good wrap up chapter. I really like how this arc ended, I wonder if Yami does this for most of the people he kills. It's sweet how he did this for Vetto, even though he's an enemy. He's such a good character.

I'm just preparing myself for the Licht scene... yes we all know what is going to happen - though I am curious how Liar and Fana will react, or the WNE in general. I don't see them replacing Vetto, Licht would not be able to do that. He's lost even more to the people of Clover - so he will turn his revenge up a notch... you could say; he will be the one to bring despair to all of them in Vetto's place.

Though in all seriousness, I expect the calm before the storm. Things should be relatively okay for an arc or two, but then BAM - all hell breaks loose. I just hope sh*t doesn't go down too fast. All in all, I'm not expecting much for the next chapter... but I do look forward to it.

Now Jack... where are you?! Your men died and nothing?! Though I expect him to appear soon.

Yeah, the cover was shown along side vol. 7. Apparently it's a bunch of short stories about Black Bull - Asta gets a sword trainer (it's the guy with the red hair) and then something to do with Noelle and another with Yami. That's all I've heard, so there's probably more info about it somewhere else.

- Marx informs Julius about the Diamond Kingdom attacking them at the border.
- Something about their goal is the king and the country being crushed is mentioned by one of the three mages (I did a quick count - definitely not accurate - there's almost 100 enemies there)
- Lotus is there, but not Mars.
- William, Yuno/Sylph and two others appear.
- William says something, surprising Asta.

Bulls are thanked by the temple folk before they return to the surface. Gordon appears to be sad (maybe because he wasn't apart of the mission, poor guy). Yami, Charmy, Asta and Finral go to the capital to report to Julius and give him the magic stone. Yami says something about Asta and Julius is appreciative(?) Marx appears to tell Julius about the Diamond Kingdom invading. Three high ranking members (they have a special name according to Netabare, but it doesn't make much sense; Hachiterususumu - I tried finding a way to translate it but oh well, I can wait for the Edited Manga) Lotus and a bunch of other mages, no sign of Mars. William, Yuno and two others appear - Sylph appears to have aged and William says something like 'come on guys, let's destroy them' surprising Asta and Charmy.

Here's a link for the summary just above ^ I added some of the stuff I got from netabare; so this is basically it for ch.74 - I'm already excited for ch. 75 and this one isn't even out yet. But looks like we're finally getting our Yuno arc. XD

Spoiler: My Thoughts

OMFG FINALLY!! Yuno hasn't appeared since ch.36 - I was missing him. He's in uniform now too. Sylph looks different - her hair has grown by the looks of it; she also looks more mature...?

New members appearing is awesome - I hope we get to see William kick some ass!! I hope we get to see Rangils. I have to say I am super excited to read this one - my sweet Yuno has finally returned; in style too. XD I wonder why what William said surprised Asta and Charmy, maybe the way he says it seems dark?? Next week should be awesome!!

This may just be me but I still think Julius is sketchy as hell. The facial expressions he makes towards Asta, Yami,etc. are so off-putting or moreso suspicious.

I think it's gonna turn out Julius is a villain, Yami will fight him 1v1 in a rage of "how could you betray me and everyone in the kingdom!?", and get subsequently stomped.

He does come off as shady - but I don't think he'll end up as an antagonist. We're used to seeing his kind, dorky side, so we assume he's that kind of character and when he gets serious it gets weird and you can't help but stop to think about it. If anything; I can see him dying in the future from an enemy.

He seems to actually care about and respect Yami (as we see in this chapter) and given the inner thoughts we've gotten from him in previous chapters - I doubt he'll be bad. I know these thoughts alone are not enough to convince anyone otherwise, but I really hope he doesn't end up like that in the end.
