Lol true but my point is the plot could be contrived out to be more complex. It would be really interesting if they say its yami or the fancy haired guy. The plot would really take a big turn.

Yami is seen as a foreigner and his entire troop as misfits so actually nothing will be done the ending ideally will be yami getting hanged or killed immediately along with everyone else there isn't anything exciting if Yami is selected. No uproar at all

The character in my opinion that is best to be blamed for this is the silver eagle captain Nozelle/nozeru Silver he's royalty and it would stir up a huge uproar in the city and capital and a famous name would be blamed. It also would put Noelle back in the spotlight to save her family name and to prove her worth.

Also Asta didn't react too strongly to the information. If it was Yami he would not have controlled himself so Yami is safe but everyone else is not

I'm pretty sure the name they will spill out won't be the person they are looking for. Vangeance seems to be the obvious villain, but I hope he is not. Anyway, pretty interesting chapter, as always when Julius is involved somehow.

For some reason I really like Julius. He just seems likeable. Yami is also one of my favorite characters.

Like i said it would be interesting plot twist, i didnt say its probable. I think william is the mole but it would be interesting if the info given is false and our mcs gets to covertly prove the innocent . Since asta will never believe it and yami will be imprisoned so the black sheeps will try to vindicate him...
Same goes for Julius, he is definitely not the mole so his imprisonment will cause an internal rift, nozelle will try to vindicate him and end up pulling asta in the quest.

Asta was in the room when the prisoners talked. Look at his reaction. There is no way it would be Yami and he would just stand around doing nothing and chilling. I also think that it won't be William. That would just be too obvious. That whole chapter wasn't subtle foreshadowing, it was everybody suspecting William to be the mole.

The Purple Orca captain's design reminds me of Mermaid Man.

So far, William is hinted so strongly that he could be the traitor, but I think that's too easy. I'd love to have some other people being the traitor, and William actually cooperating with Yami to track the real villain.

Julius tricking him would be cool - but I don't really see the point, I mean if the guy is there why not just get him when he is surrounded by so many powerful people - it's just such a good opportunity to let it pass. Unless he does it so the enemy doesn't attack the kingdom trying to set him free, so he can choose where the battle is.

Well the next chapter should be out in the next 12 hours, so we will know soon.

U know what by the way looks aster dont want meet the eye with yami and hesitate to answer yami question, i think yami is the traitor of course we know that is not the truth but a set up from the real mole that i think is william vengeance,if they point up to william directly it will make the manga so predictable,i think we will see a plottwist in chapter 55,my guess either yami or nozelle will be the traitor

Lil's paint magic looks so cool, no wonder she is the youngest captain in history. XD One thing that confuses me is both her and Julius has been shown to use transformation magic - is it something anyone can learn?? Or no??

Honestly if the traitor ends up really being him I'll kind of be disappointed - he did act like he wasn't the bad guy, sure he looks shady but... /: Maybe it's me just being in denial, I'm kinda sad that my first theory for this series was wrong... but again - as mentioned in a post above there is a possibility of this being a trick.

Apparently the spell Geldor uses is something along the lines of 'invisible soldiers' - so Asta used Ki to find and defeat them.

** Edit - looking at the raws again... maybe Geldor just sold stuff to the wrong people, in a way that could make him a traitor...

I'm gonna laugh if Lil was asking Asta to join Misty Blue Deer, based on Yami and Asta's reaction I wouldn't be surprised. Though she was probably just praising him in an annoying way.
