Gueldre is shady, but I believe he's being framed. Gueldre is the captain of the Violet Orcas, remember Rades was part of that squad and said he was banished from the kingdom because of his magic. So framing him is like payback for Rades.

Licht seems to like powerful people who are discriminated against, for example I guess that's why he's interested in Gauche. Rades was treated badly by Gueldre and the Violet Orcas, so this is vengeance.

Someone from Golden Dawn is involved with the White Night Eye, we saw their squads insignia on the guys with the stone tablet. I said from the beginning of this thread that I think William is evil, I still hope I'm wrong for a swerve, but even if it's not him someone from Golden Dawn is involved.

Totaly agree with u dude,that orca captain is very shady character,,but if william is a traitor that will be so predictable, im sure the mangaka want avoid that he want the reader suspicious to william and then he will show the real traitor my guess is the fatso guy in golden dawnwith glass magic but is just a hunch i dont have the solid proof lol

U know there is something bugging my mind litch said that his people is loved by mana ,and that is why asta from all the people can get the 5th clover tome and sword,asuming from that i guess the previous holder of the tome and sword have a lot of mana more than litch and his gang?( i guess the previous leader kinda like naruto with a ton of chakra?) But if that true the sword will suck up his mana until dry (samehada version 2 lol)

Yeah, the same thing has been bothering me. It is highly possible that this guy they worship has no mana - but as stated; White Night Eye is group 'loved by mana'... so that kind of contradicts that thought. It is also possible there is a lot more to Asta's griamore then he realizes.

Haha, loved that second to last page when the reader suddenly sees that the Sorcery Emperor also was about to wrack havoc. Those are the panels that make me like Black Clover. It certainly isn't the best manga I've ever read, but it's high pace is somehow entertaining and different and the mangaka has a talent for creating weirdos.

According to netabare - Liar has disguised himself as someone using magic, the identity of said person has yet to be shown.

The second image may be a picture of White Night Eyes current hideout.

EDIT: The second image is a temple in which a magic stone is located - I think Julius is requesting Yami and Asta to go there. I am pretty sure the magic stone is referring to the stones needed for the tablet that is in possession of White Night Eye.

** Note that I am doing my best to decipher the hell that is google translation - so it isn't 100% accurate. But if what Netabare is uploading is correct then this should be about right. It annoys me that google translates Asta to Application...

Good looking chapter overall, I believe we see Yami and Julius' first interaction? Also is it just me or is Julius wearing a Misty Blue Dear uniform robe? The only difference I see it the stitching.

- Now the main point is; WHO THE HELL IS LIAR DISGUISING HIMSELF AS!? We can definitely rule out Yami, based on the events that follow. We can't exactly rule out Jack, Charlotte and Noselle; mainly because he has met them before so the possibility of him posing as them is just as high. An interesting thought that came to mind is - maybe he was disguised as Marx?

Noelle's reaction is exactly what I expected it to be, also I am glad to see the old nun is okay (I forget her name).

Wow, did not expect Liar was there all along! He could be William, since in two previous chapters William could not give any answer when Jack questioned his whereabout during Radess' invasion. Whoever it was, I don't mind, though. XD

So far we wouldn't know - but based on the newest chapter (56) it is a possibility. Can't really do much but wait now, a new arc is starting which means all of this will probably be ignored for a while. Oh well.

Also - the 'mind reader' is a male; Marx. He does look rather feminine doesn't he. :L

In the end there whoever liar imitate is being frame by the white eyes if u want to get rid an enemy who will be ur target? If its me i will pursue william vengeance bcoz he lead the strongest division in clover kingdom,he will be a hindrance for white eyes goal,so i put my bet that liar is disguise as william(beside from the early chapter of the manga) we already lure by the author to suspect william as traitor so it will be a major plot twist if the truth is william is being framed.
