The Vermillion family especially is great.
Xebec did an okay job but the character designs were horrid, I did like the VA's (not so sure about Asta's though) so I do hope Mars' and Yuno's stick - I do have little faith in Pierrot, so at least my expectations aren't highThe animation needs more work from the looks of the OVA. And please why Studio Pierrot? I hate them so much after butchering Toyko Ghoul
Romi Park may be a good fit, but I'm just gonna see how it goes - we may get a voice we'll just have to get used to unfortunately, let's just hope it's decent as we'll have to deal with all that shouting
Those designs are way to clean and generic.
Regardless of how most people feel, Studio Pierrot is still considered one of the top anime studio's in Japan, and quite frankly I think the anime will be pretty good considering the anime was announced in December of last year and has just now given information about it. That to me shows that Studio Pierrot is taking it's time making it so I'm hopeful it'll turn out good. On a little bit of a side note the Tokyo Ghoul anime still brought in a tone of new readers after it aired and it should be noted that Tokyo Ghouls author wanted the changes made in root A, also and this is just personal opinion I really enjoyed Sousei no Onmyouji since I don't read the manga I don't see a problem with the anime.I just read about the new anime and it triggered such a roller coaster of emotion.

As a Black Clover fan that really hurts me.
Studio Pierrot takes good and great manga and turns them into mediocre to bad shows. It's what they do. Not saying there isn't talent in that studio but the focus there has been quantity over quality for a very long time. They are the Activision of anime. They acquire the rights to great manga then churn out lackluster adaptations on the cheap and hope the fanbases are fanatical enough not to care. Like Naruto's was.
They literally haven't made a good anime adaptation of anything in about 10 years. It's not just Tokyo Ghoul they've done this with. Sousei no Onmyouji and Beelzebub were the same way. Bleach and Naruto haven't exactly been treated well by them either. They even got essentially fired from the job of handling episodes of Legend of Korra because of how bad of a job they did.
You can already see from the character designs they are trimming them to make it quicker and easier to animate.

Manga like Toriko, Uratarou, and maybe even Kimetsu no Yaiba have that exaggerated feel that that animation could work with...but it doesn't work with one of the more intense and serious fights in Naruto's entire run.
Studio Perriot has the talent as seen in many of the Naruto episodes:
This style of animation would be perfect for the "rough" character design styles that Black Clover has, but that animation isn't constant and only used for special fights. If Black Clover had this animation director for every single episode, I think the series' popularity would skyrocket even further, despite it's current reputation. Especially if, like above, they can take some creative licenses and improve the fight choreography of the series and the general visuals.
The animation looks pretty smooth and it looks, at least to me, like there sticking with the CGI for the magic which I'm actually pretty okay with.
This looks dope AF, cant wait. I only hope that they dont cut out stuff, or change some stuff like some studios love to do.
