Interesting you should say that. I'm a bit like that and know others in the same 'leaky' boat. I think that's why I admire the likes of Metalanime, who, even when he's having an off day and might not adhere to his own high standards, does it anyway - even if he's not happy with it. Man, that's real discipline and I reckon that's what separates the ordinary from the great. Only wish I had a bit more of that kind of dedication!
