I know, they just tell us what transpired so far in the story that's definite. Also read Roger's biography through that link, and I don't think it mentioned him knowing CoC? I wouldn't be shocked if we learn that he somehow has the strongest/most unique CoC. Perhaps the ability to hear voices of things could be related to CoC?

I also feel Momonosuke has the potential to use CoC as well, assuming from his ability to control Zuniesha.

Is it impossible to unlock COC later? I heard that few times that certain fans say it be 'BS' if old characters show COC without putting hints prior that they have it. Is that needed or it can still be shown of them unlocking it later?

Well considering that Law is 25 ish and had a near death experience which didnt trigger it, its probably safe to say he doesn't have it.

Its not impossible i guess, just improbable. We've only seen 2 cases of genuine haki unlocks for the first time, that was Ace and Luffy. Both used it unconsciously but it was in reaction to save someone they love.

If Law had it, we would've seen him use it by now.

True, but could unlock it later if Oda insert it or flashback. He might do so same with certain Strawhats down the line. If Strawhats will become like Roger, we have 4 people excluding Captain to have it.

Why? What makes CoC a measure of strength? I can see a future use of using it in battles but given the current scenario, i dont see any advantage.

How many Yonko commanders have shown to have CoC? Only Katakuri. Rayleigh was another group member showing CoC and i suppose Ben Beckmann could have it too... so 2 users in a pirate group i can see. 5 is nearly 50% of the crew, dont think it can be that many.

Tbh, if it doesnt become relevant in actual 1vs1 combat, it really isnt needed on any new character.

Everyone is facing Yonko and stronger enemies, make sense a few to have it. Also Bullet, while movie 8s not canon, his character is. Oda is picky on Roger Pirates portrayal. To let a movie do about one of them, they had to be more his action to want that.

I see, Sanji having it as other than Luffy, he has most traits to get COC than only Zoro. The other 2 might be Usopp and maybe Jimbei, but think he pass the point of showing it with his age and all. Though I know Monster Trio are good chance of having COC in the end while other few still need to see.

You do make a point, but in Law's case we could say he was "conquered" by doffy (ie his fear/hatred of him), having resigned himself to die in exchange for killing him.

Thus, now that he is free of that, his heart will have the ambition to conquer re-ignited.

Yea absolutely it could be. I am just giving CoC hypothetical possibility as an advanced stage since the only 2 people who've shown this are WB and BM, both YOnkos confirmed to possess CoC.

Yea, it could be. Regarding Law, we are sure he isnt a user from the current storyline.

But the main point is, what are the advantages of using CoC. Assume Law is a CoC user. If CoC can only knockout weak willed people, isnt that something Law can do without as well? Just like Zoro and Sanji did in Fishmen island?

If CoC has an advanced form, for instance like controlling other people's thoughts, or overwhelming them and disable using haki, then i can see it being useful. None of this has been seen so far.

I can see non-battle usages of CoC being there. Something like only CoC users can go to Raftel, or can hearing Zunesha, voice of all things etc.. We know its important cos the marines are worried about CoC users, but not sure that translates to strong battles....

Also, there's only one marine who can use CoC, Sengoku... So you can be strong without it as well, like the admirals.

Have to be pushed to the edge for it to happen. Same with Sanji too in their fights as Luffy show his more promiently during fits of emotions like at Amazon Lily and Marineford. They need to struggle heavily in their fights to increase their Haki to stronger lvls.

No you don't Luffy used Coc for the 1st time on a bull in a situation they had under control. Besides if Zoro has Coc he should've achieved during his training with Mihawk. Also why do you always bring Sanji into the conversation when people talk about Zoro?
