Sorry to disappoint you, I don't really have anything on the Whale Tree. The idea was more like a brainstorming. The idea was that the Whale Tree (and maybe all of these gigantic trees) are a life stadium of a whale, like you have with polyps and jellyfish.

The reason why this motive bugs me is because it's so odd. It's a whale on top of an elephant. Oda can get away with having Yemenite Sanaa inhabited by beastmen living a western livestyle, guarded by French musceeters inhabiting pineapples and South American paramilitaric jungle guerrillas inhabiting Asian huts. At least this gives the impression that the Minks are not the original inhabitants of Claw City and the whole theme is probably a result of Oda playing too much Animal Crossing (see color spread).

But a whale on top of an elephant is like a banana on your head. It's silly, so there must be a reason. It's completely different from the other "special trees". Adam and Eve are figures from a tree myths, and the Tree of Knowledge literally is one of the trees from that myth (Genesis). But whales and trees have no such connection as far as I am aware of.


Note that while whales are mammals, Minks are only furry mammals and even eat those without fur, meaning a whale is kind of unlikely to be their sacred animal.

So I am playing Warhammer Total War right now in this pandemic lockdown and it Really looks like I have accidentally discovered the TRUE origin of the name Lucci.

As you might know, Oda was asked in SBS wether its from to rob the light, and Oda said that was interesting but it's not it.

So Warhammer Total War has a third sequel and I was lucking up which factions could be included in it.

One of them are mercenaries, "Dogs of War", from a fantastical version of Italy called Tilea.

And one of them is Leopold di Lucci's Leopard's of Luccini.

And it gets even more juicy.

This Luchini is named after real Italian Lucania, whose name might come from Lykos, wolf.

And fantasy Luccini's origin is basically Rome but with a brother and a sister raised by a leopard instead of a Wolf.

But it is currently ruled by Lorenzo Lupo (wolf), who has a strong rivalry with Leopold di Lucci of the Leopard's.

And Luccini is constantly at war with the Pirates.

And the tie back to the italo killer theme might be Charles "Lucky" Luciano, real name Salvatore Lucania, an italo-american mafia boss.

Note that this stuff is from the 80s or 90s, older than Water 7.

What if, there is someone in the future story of one piece, there is a devil fruit who give you the abillities to become water controlling water?

Since we know ace/sabo with his fire, maybe morley from RA is represent to earth, maybe dragon for the air/wind, like he was summon some kind of wind at louge town to blown away smoker. like on avatar, water, earth, air, and fire.

All 3 Weapons have been presented, and they're related to people. Their names are not related to the power itself, but where you can find them/where they're stored.

They were all present in Im's chapter and that's the reason he was holding pictures of them.

- Luffy being the reincarnation of Joyboy, who clearly was related to all 3 of them in the past.
- Vivi being a key to unlocking Pluton, and Pluton/Underworld meaning that pluton is beneath the sands of Alabasta, and the reason why Cobra said that Crocodile would've gotten it if Robin revealed its location.
- Shira being poseidon, who can be found in the ocean.
- Blackbeard is Uranus/or related to it somehow. The ability to have several DF and steal them is unheard of, while the darkness fruit should've been around for a while. It's destructive power is ancient weapon worthy given enough time to assemble enough DFs, and that's the reason BBs body was described as different. He also convincingly said that Sky Islands exist, because he was born in one, and was introduced in that arc for that reason/symbolism

The strange thing is that Luffy has both the symbols of Joy Boy (pagan messiah) and Im (Buddha, Storm God)...

What I have considered as of lately is that Luffy is NOT the actual descendant of Joy Boy.

The color of Joy is yellow, the color of the Sun.

This point to the Gol D. bloodline and Roger actually being right about his son.

The Phoenix represents rebirth. Hawkins predicted the death of a certain someone, and that someone is Luffy and it will be Marco who will revive him with the help of Law, but dieing himself in the process.

And this is a tragedy, because Luffy is NOT Joyboy. And the same constellation was present at Marineford, too, just Law had no reason to revive Ace as he didn't knew him and Marco didn't knew Law.

Wano arc has a theater theme and Life is either funny or sad, SAD and SMILE are also the central themes of Ace, represented on his head via drama masks. Comedy and Tragedy...

But rejoice, the message is that the prophecy is bullshit and Luffy will save the world regardless of it.
