She just got a full days worth of rest and was getting smashed by Ikagura and Azuma. Plus she got pushed back by one lackey and she was overpowered by 5 as they were stopping her from getting to Makarov. Mira got shot in the heart (as Brandish said she still retains the damage despite stopping the bleeding) and was torture yet she's going fisticuffs with an S12. How was Erza truly injured when she just had a full days worth of rest and fought fodder? I don't see how that taxes her to the point of getting overpowered by fodder enhanced soldiers.

I've never seen Laxus evaporating sea water with just his magic power either. That doesn't say much.
Evaporating sea water is great and all but i don't see how that can be used in battle. In terms of actual feats, Mira has been unimpressive.
Logically speaking she's able to defeat Erza with Macro; but she used her macro only ONCE against fodders and that failed for half of them. And she didn't use it against the two chicks she was struggling with. Might be PiS: i'm not going to start that debate again. But personally, as long as she doesn't use Macro correctly and against an decent opponent, i'm not going to give that credit.
Alegria is definitely powerful, but lasts 10 seconds. I'm sure Erza, who willingly tanked punches from bloodlusted END and Gray, is able to resist getting one shot by Alegria before Mira runs out of MP.

I mean that's just my opinion, I think Mira should be superior but that's not what is shown in the manga. I think Hiro has a clear favourite and Mira keeps getting downplayed, but fighting lackeys, not using Macro properly, etc. As much as i would like Mira to shine more, i can't give her credit. So i'm going for Erza.
But my main point was, i don't see how evaporating sea water is relevant. Just proves that her MP is high in Alegria form, which is nice, but... So what? You just can't say "Mira evaporated sea water so she's stronger than Erza".

Fodders in huge numbers are deadly as well. We've seen Gildartz exhausted and bruised by just fighting fodders, not because the actual fodders (who were not even enhanced yet) were strong, but because they were a lot.
When enhanced there's also the surprise effect. The situation was desperate, that's not related to Erza's capacities; everyone in that situation would have been in bad shape. This is why Makarov suicided, because they couldn't fight them all, regardless of Erza's power or Gildartz power or Makarov's.
Erza being overpowered by several enhanced soldiers doesn't mean she's weak. I believe everyone would have been.

As i am OP i will remain nuetral here.But i am saying one thing continuing what Taku said.Mira's magic can evaporate 2 city block level of water but obviously Erza can't do that or create a nuke because her magic doesn't work in the manner of Mira-Consisting of swords and knifes.So you can't judge two of them by this.

Only reason Jacob hasn't beat her is because her breasts were out. It took all her energy and stamina to 'salughter' those lackeys.

Among all of main characters Erza was the only one who did not get powerup yet. Gray got IDSM, Natsu got FDKM/END, Wendy got controllable DF (to have food everywere is awesome for slayer), Laxus got significantly stronger to the point there is holywar about him and Jellal, Mira got Sayla and Allegria. All of listed abilites moved them to different lower lvl. But compare to each other they remained nearly the same, except Natsu and Gray who moved on. But Erza did not show any powerup or feats to tell she improwed that hard like rest of them. Erza is not Sprigan tier and can not win against one by herself. She did what, survived 2 min fight with Ajeel? Fought against 3 shadows of her foes, got beaten by them to dispell them later with friendship plot magic? It was stated MANY times she was on pair with Mira but Erza did not get powerup last time. So Mira now is above Erza. Yet I have a feeling that Erza will get new powers after Irene fight and will move on top.

Erza wins this because superior feats.... Erza forced Ajeel to use his strongest magic (Sand world) while Mirajane defeated Heine and Juliet featless characters.... Ajeel---->Heine and Juliet

I'm going to say Erza takes this out mid-high diff. I think Mira is being a bit overhyped here as the best she's done this arc is drain her magic power with the Alegria form against two enchanted swords, whereas Erza has taken down a Spriggan which is the better feat. Yes, Mira has Macro but I believe it to be affected my Magic Power, and thus Erza having more MP thanks to Second Origin shouldn't be affected by it (this is just my belief, feel free to disagree). So yes, Erza with her various armour should be able to take Mira out even with Mira's different Tartarus forms.

Algeria is extremely irrelevant when talking about mages Lucy Caliibur and up. Erza is far ahead of that. Erza tanked Irene's enchantment explosives and easily dodged her magic. Algeria is nothing more than a spell that consumes alot of Mirajane Magic, nothing more, nothing less. It's destructive power isn't impressive nor is it's defensive or attack power.

Erza is currently going blow for blow with non Dragon Irene. Mind you Erza was already extremely injured and yet people still want to claim Mirajane is near Erza level. She isn't near Erza level by feats nor hype. Any character who has been able to hold thier own against a Spriggan 12 member isn't getting taken out by Mirajane Algeria form.
