Hey everyone, I haven't posted in here for a while. I thought I would share with you guys some of my favourite J-pop songs atm. Below you'll find a set of spoiler tags that contain all 10 of my favourite j-pop songs at present. Some are old, some are new. I'm sure many of you may already be familiar with some of them. Anywhoo...

No. 10) Flumpool - Reboot

- Really good tune, fitting lyrics that compliment the catchy beat. "At some point I lost sight of it, the continuation of my dream, Looking for it is tightly closing my eyes again" ~ haha those lyrics relate to me so much lol.

No. 9) Aqua Timez – Ehagaki no Haru

- The majority of the lyrics talk about situations and descriptions of experiences that I have either gone through or can relate too. Especially, the "To be able to say "good morning" to the girl you love, that morning will never be forgotten" (Deja Vu*) and "I tightly grasped your hand and I know it was me who froze up" (My first love. ).
Anyway, these themes have been used a billion times over again in nearly every pop song but this particular group summed it up in a different way which was interesting. The choice of words and comparisons were cool.

The intro of the beat and the build up was superbly done! :3

No. 8) Saint Vox - Electric (Jonetsu Tairiku)

- Awesome club tune!!! "Do you feel eletric???" I can definitely see this particular song becoming popular around Europe lol. This will probably get remixed by a few notable European DJ's soon imo. I don't know how many times I've played this song on repeat lol. Eletric is a super song and I love it! Defo a club banger IMHO.

No. 7) Sara Mary – Mirror Mirror feat. COMA-CHI

- Love Sara's voice on this one. :3 The collab with Coma-Chi worked really well on this particular track. Not too much rapping which was good, nice pace and the lyrics by Coma were short yet simple that worked really well with the tempo. The english lyrics were a bit...

"watashi rashiku waratte, watashi rashiku NAMIDA otoshite, migakarete iku no Yeah~" I'm going to learn how to play this on the piano. :3

No. 6) World's End Girlfriend - Les Enfants du Paradis

Zomg!!! I'm in love with this instrumental! The drums, the guitar, I mean all the sounds are very awesome!!!!...and strange at the same time. xD The dancer in the MV is Masako Yasumoto :33333 The way she moves during the whole song is quite impressive. Not to everyone tastes..dunno how long it took her to "master" the dance routine lol.

No. 5) JUJU - Mukashi Kara Aru Basho (Hello Again)

OMG! She's soooooooooooo beautiful! *___________________* I also found a super awesome guitar-only version of the same song. Click here to check it out. It's not an option, you must listen to it! :P

Her voice, the strings and the piano. That's all I got to say about this one.

I really want to see and hear this song live in concert! Words can't describe or express how many feelings/emotions are rushing all around inside me while listening to this song. XD! haha

No. 3) Kanon Wakeshima - Suna No Oshiro

Ok folks, seriously now. This has to be one of my all time favourites; both the song and the artist. I love this kind of classical-influenced j-pop. Kanon is definitely a master singer x cellist! You guys have to check out her live peformances!!! Jin's a fan for life.

Any other day people and this would be my number 1. I don't need to give a reason why, just listen to the song and see for yourself. The lyrics;

No. 1) N' Shunkugawa Boys - Fuantei

The bestest of the best atm IMO. The music video is simple yet very engaging and has that "fun vibe" to it. The way the beat builds as the singers dance around is just funny. xD The guitarist is the real dude in the end.

K-ON!!'s 2nd ending NO, Thank You!

K-on music is CATCHY. Therefore it fits my bill.

I am obessed with Giita ni Kubittake, Yui's character song. After I saw Aki Toyosaki's live performance of it with K-on's Let's Go concert, I just fell in love with the song AND Aki-chan. I see why Aki-chan has beaten Nana Mizuki with one of the the seiyuu polls. Aki-chan pulled off a great performance during the concert, I say her singing is on par with Tamura Yukarin (meaning it's in tune but not the 'WOAH she's a great singer'). Aki-chan has the looks as well as the bubblely personaly, she makes a great seiyuu idol (yes idol, not singer).

Talking about K-on's Let's Go concert, Yōko Hikasa (Mio) was the best out of the lot. Someone needs to sign her as a seiyuu singer, I love her singing voice. Her 'Moe moe Kyuuuuun' just worked perfectly.

The others did great too, you could tell they practiced alot. Where's the 2nd concert? I WANT ONE. I cried with the last episode of K-on!! the other day....

You start to wonder how did the sound director at KyoAni find cute, talented, unknown seiyuus every time.

I just finish downloading Hatsune Miku 39's Giving day concert. Now I love Romeo to Cinderella, Double Lariat, Magnet, Just be Friends and Voice. I SO didn't otagei with a biro in my hand...

Anything by T.M. Revolution is awesome. I swear when I just happen to hear one of his song they will my instant favourite for that time.

I finally have a Sphere song I like! Sphere is a female idol girl band/group thingie that Sony/Music Ray made. I didn't hate their songs, but I never liked them much.

Now Loading...SKY!! is one of the lamest title ever. The lyrics sounds...sorta...erm..weird. But I absolutely love the backing music, it gives a slight old school feel, similar to Cardcaptor Sakura openings yet sound modern. The vocals match the song very well despite 3/4 of them aren't strong singer, the only one that can sing, Ayahime sucks, at singing jpop (she can how ever sing opera extremely well). The song is catchy and is a great background song while doing boring work.

Talking about Ayahime, I really like Watashi no dake sora, the b-side on her debut single. Her opera singing ability is just perfect for ballards. There's really nothing special about the song, but the vocals just sound lovely. I didn't like her over the top You Raise Me Up (despite her professional opera vocals).

Yes! XD I had "Naked arms" stuck in my head for a really long time after I first heard it XD Even my brother liked it and sometimes I'd wake up to hear him singing/humming the song as he got ready for school XD As much as I like abingdon boys school as well, I liked T.M.R first so I'm glad he's back as and making a revolution again

But right now my "favourite" J-song has got to be Tommy heavenly6's "Unlimited Sky" ^^

yeah T.M.Revolution is great But right now I'm in love with the song from the first Durarara OP: Theatre Brook - Uragiri no Yuuyake

Talking about Naked Arms, I liked the other A-side (it's a double A-side) better. I think it's due to my Sengoku Basara obession lately. There is something about T.M Revolution that I can't pin point that makes his songs really nice to hear, it's hotblooded but not full on tokusatsu styled openings.

I didn't realise K-on had a new set of character singles released. The new 'song that everyone sings their own version', Come with Me, sounds identical to Let's Go. Personally I really like Mio's version of Come with Me. But out of the two singles I like Seishun Vibration the best (okay I know what you're thinking about the title). Hikasa's vocals always make the song more awesome then it should be, I have no idea is it Hikasa's own talent or the demo person was good. The way Hisaka pulls the note towards the end of line just sound professional. Hikasa's vocals just doesn't match ballards, of course she's one of the better seiyuu singers.

Did I say the new K-on character single series have awesome covers? The style is similar to Lucky Star remix 002 album (or whatever it was called). Yui's cover is made of win <3

I think it's something about his voice... But I can't pinpoint it either :x I think his composer (Asakura Daisuke) is really talented, but somehow despite having the same composer, access' music doesn't click with me the same way T.M.R's does. Iirc, T.M.R does better than access on the charts as well. So I guess it's Takanori's voice after all, heh. (though somehow that doesn't make abingdon boys school sell better than they do :/)

I only liked Sword Summit because of my Sengoku Basara obession lately. I tend to link well animated openings with the song itself....sorta weird.

T.M Revolution singles and albums still sell amazingly despite he only release once in a while under T.M.R nowadays. Naked Arms/Sword Summit sold 66,013 (first week sales) and I don't think it's due to the Sengoku Basara tie up. It's not like Basara sells that well (I think the first season sold about 8k per volume).

It's interesting that ABS doesn't sell near as well as T.M.R. From Dusk till Dawn only sold 22,937 on the first week.

I guess we're not the only one who likes T.M.Revolution.

Been looping this song for 2 days... Yuuya's voice is very relaxing and yet (or at least in this song it is) heartrending. If you know him from "Trust Me" (Durarara!! ) then you should definitely check this song out to hear him singing a sad ballad for a change :P

It wasn't used in the "Angel Beats!" anime itself, but I personally like this song of theirs the best

Yeah, I like both of them too I was a little disappointed with "Blue Bird" because I've heard much better songs from Kobukuro (am a big fan), but the more I listened to it the more I liked it. I never heard of YA-KYIM before this. It's always nice to find new artistes through anime

Right now mine's MONKEY MAJIK - Aishiteru ^^ I always find it very cool that Maynard and Blaise are Canadian. I mean when you think of foreigners going to Japan to be singers its usually Asians like the flurry of K-pop artistes like SNSD, Kara, DBSK etc, or even people like Itou Yuna for that matter. And hey, you get non-Engrishy lyrics, which is good I like their style a lot too.
