DBSK - Darkness eyes

I found out about this song by watching an AMV, it was the song used during the credits. I looked for a bit of info about DBSK and I found out they are a group for South Korea. Since I like this song of theirs, I’m going to look for another DBSK song but this time in Korean.

I listened to this song some time ago in this AMV, and I immediately loved the song but had no idea that DBSK were the ones behind this song. Thankfully, thanks to Iceiphoenix now I know.

It's a pity DBSK broke up, especially for such silly reasons :/ (oh, the number of DBSK fans in my school who were devastated by the news...) I don't know about the US, but over here in Singapore (and most of Asia), they're huge (even now that they're broken up). To the point that when we use DBSK songs to teach Japanese during sessions of the Japanese Club, much more people go "I KNOW THIS SONG!" than when we use a song by an actual Japanese XD

But my current favourite song is Monkey Majik - SAKURA! Very soothing song (just like most Monkey Majik)

Yeap, they did I'm not a big fan of theirs so I didn't follow the news that closely but from what I understand, their agency, SM entertainment, has this really tight hold on them and the members themselves earn a pittance despite the amount they rake in for SM. So 3 members sued the company, citing that the company was violating the contract by paying them too little, and the members actually won the suit. The company then claimed that it was some scam by the members to earn money through some cosmetics firm they were endorsing or something It basically blew up and eventually they had to disband, although currently there is still a 3-man unit JYJ continuing activities, made up of just Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu :/ I haven't heard their new stuff so I can't say anything about it though ^^;

As far as I know it isn't a drama theme song. But the PV's pretty cool eh Those are the band members (and of course other extras) acting in the PV! The quality isn't that great but did you notice that some of the samurai aren't Japanese? 8)

Thank you for the info, Salad. It seems like boy-bands face that kind of problem frequently and regardless where they are from. Iirc I think Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync faced a similar thing years ago. I wonder why only 3 members remained while the other 3 went their separate ways. I don’t know who Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu are yet (haven’t looked for info about each member of the band yet), but I’m glad they didn’t separate.

Yes, I did. The video was pretty fun , that’s why I wanted to know if it was from a J-drama because I was considering watching it.

Just recently watched the j-movie, Shinigami no Seido and one of its songs called, Sunny Day just can't get out my head. The actress who played as the discovered singer (Fujiki Kazue) on the movie was the artist (Konishi Manami) who actually sang the OST.

Maybe it’s the choreography (which I think it’s pretty cool) that makes me want to join them and dance, or maybe it’s because the song is so catchy, or maybe it’s because I used to dance and create choreographies with my friends when I was in HS, whatever the reason all I know is that I really like this song!

Amazing four-piece band, they've got such a solid sound and the singer is amazing, but I'm being incredibly bias here. Worth the check out, but the vocals might need to get used to a little before you really start to enjoy their music.
