Art DGM Volume Covers Thread

i don't want to be a killjoy or so, but the most recent volumes of reborn! came out this year, namely in february & april. d.gray-man volume 17 was published last year. i guess in december. so, it isn't that much of an achievement that its volume 17 is above reborn! and gintama in sales whose volumes got released much later. =/

well, as for me, as long as DGM's sales are good enough to keep it on the safe side I don't need to worry ^ ^

well, but in the list is #26 of Gintama (which a like ) who was released at the same month (December) as #17 of DGM, and its in the 19th position, and the last released volume of Reborn (which i like too ~) on the 1st week sold around 265,306 ,DGM recent volume on a 1st week sold 300,630 (a little bit more dont ya think n_n)

i didn't mean gintama #26, rather #27 and #28 =D

you should keep in mind that reborn! #24 was released on a friday. it hadn't as much time as d.gray-man #18, which came out on a thursday, to sell copies.

and lol, i don't want to compare dgm and khr!. i just wanted to mention that it doesn't sell as much as it used to. the sales are actually dropping, while other mangas are selling more and more. so, it would be better if hoshino-san started to bring out volumes again :/

Bad news! The site, which stated that Vol. 19 will be out on Sept. 4th, just updated recently and now does not have a release date for the next volume.

I love the cover of vol 14 Cross Marian 1 of my favorite characters, anyways i ordered vol14 in english already anyone else did so too? I dunno how fast dilivery will be this time but last time with vol 13 i had it before the official releasedate ^^...in my country they usualy dont give much for holding back till releasedate

well...we can only see the data being updated until its ranked below 100, so I wonder if it will break 500k copies until the final data will be released at the end of this year. The sales dropped a bit comparing with previous volumes becoz vol18 doesn't focus on main charactors. It sold less than reborn hitman.... although they are compared in a different week)

Dont think sales figures and typicaly those of DGM in the WSJ matter too much sure they could be higher but did you hear about a thing called eco crisis? ^^. If you worked in sales you should notice a bad drop in all sales of about anything from toothbrushes to cars.
Still not bad since Japan got hit hard and its not fairytales but the truth that people would spend less on luxuries like for entertainment so id say these figures arnt that bad at all.

Don't know about that but surely they are gonna be the main charachters and since another fight between just those three would be strange with all the other noah awakened I guess it wuould be something different

The image looks like they are together as a team rather then oposite sides. Also there hasnt been anything like 2 sides on a cover since the first volume and in that they are back to back as well but different since they have their own *space* in the image. Hard to explain in english but they seem way more friendly in this image.
Could be just prototyp and that shes going to alter some things. Well i always hoped the 14th would have help from the inside, apart from that it could ofc be that Tykki is the new Mana? He looks like *that* guy is what Wisely said, ofc if he were the new Mana if he knew it he might join the 14th, but thats just going a bit to far for just 1 image

What is shown in this image is that Road treats them both as equal, perhaps Allen more but its a strange image lol.

You are right, Tyki apparence can't be left behind just as a coincidence, there is a bond behind it...
Allen is new trapped with all thet level four and noah bringing out the 14th power will maybe become way too obius.
Than we need a turn of events possibly not predictable so tyki and road allyance seem to be yust right.
After all their characters dream and pleasure seem to be a hint for this turn of events (obiusly I'm hoping so).
And there is left Allen's sword true effects coincidentalli the noah who was cut were Thyki and Road
