I think Gildarts is really underrated, in extreme diff Gildarts has managed to touch August
The only characters who can put Gildarts in extreme diff are August, Eileen, Zeref, Acnologia & Natsu

We did not see him use copy magic, and from the time of the fight and reactions, it appears that he didn’t use his copy magic prior. How is her defense bad? Erza had Irene’s power up in the second half of the fight and even then still lost.

Not sure the enchant was still here just after or when Wendy returned in her body and fell, living Erza fighting alone.

But at the end of this battle, Erza's power was at her ultimate for now. You can't put Jellal to this level, just like you can't put Gajeel to Savage Flames Natsu' level.

Both women were beasts.

Considering that it requires to be manually removed via Deus Zero it would be safe to say that it is still there.

So I should made a mistake. I was expecting that Wendy usually invoke Deus Corona in order to shield her against all types (defensive attribute), then invoke Deus Eques who was, for me, physicals or combats boost (offensive attribute). That is what I remembered about her fight vs the Tartaros guy.

Perhaps my book is uncorrect but when we see the scene, that was more a defensive move rather than combat boost. Erza felt no injuries from the explosion by her own surprise.

No problem, though I would say that Deus Equis for physical attributes can be for both offensive and defensive stats for the body where as Corona could be magical stats base.
