hello i am a new enigma reader... though i cant say that i absolutelyi love this manga but its decent and a good one....
any idea when 11 scans will be released??
pity that most of the manga readers dun host it...i found it on otakuworks ....

Koen, your PR over in Psyren forum has worked to increase the popularity of Enigma Maybe the verb "to koen" will be transforming in meaning

Shaheer, the reason why you can't find it may be because some readers list the manga by its "official" name which is "ǝnígmǝ" so you might find it maybe at the end of the list instead of under "E"...

Brief summary of chapter 12

- Kurisu tries to escape along with Shigeru. He'll use the password he found out via the USB, he asks Shigeru to choose either the "Kurisu Ryou" or "29th February" password
- Kurisu means to use Shigeru as a guinea pig, making her get out first and see what happens to her before he takes the risk
- Kurisu seems to be worried about something, saying "I can't get out. I'll definitely be unable to get out at this rate"
- Meanwhile Sumio reports in to the people in the computer lab, Takemaru is of course angry at being implicated, Hiina suggests that the dream diary may have gotten edited (bingo!)
- Earlier Hiina and the rest had been talking, and while Kurisu's name tag had said he was from 2-C, Hiina is from 2-C and she doesn't know him but Takemaru thinks he has heard the voice before somewhere. They get Hasekura to make the coat disappear on the drawing and as expected the drawing now shows Kurisu instead of Takemaru
- Meanwhile Shigeru gets forced to start entering the password but before she can do it some weird things happen to the typewriter thingy and it reads out her name. Anyway they hear the rest approaching so Kurisu hides, thinking if he hides long enough, then the rest will have to stop looking for him and start searching to passwords before the time limit is up, then he'll get his chance to escape.
- Conveniently, Sumio is searching in a room with books in it (it's the photography club room) and finds Shigeru's arm band. Then he discovers a picture with Shigeru in it and picks it up, but Kurisu's hand emerges out of it and grabs him and says "Welcome to the flat world"
- Sumio ends up in the picture as well. Shigeru has fainted. Kurisu states his powers to Sumio and adds that he can only bring 2 extra people into the flat world with him. Sumio tries to run to Kurisu (to punch him?) but the grass etc is hard - Kurisu explains that in the flat world, everything has to stay unmoving, except for himself that is
- Sumio worries what would happen if he were to die in this flat world. But his hand suddenly starts writing in the dream diary although he is not asleep. The picture he draws can move! (the text he wrote is not visible)

Another very, very interesting chapter! I love how Sakaki-sensei drops hints early on that could allow one to piece some of it together but most readers wouldn't notice. This manga is getting more and more interesting

Hmm, that's odd I have seen it on some of the major manga readers like mangafox. Well you can always grab the chapters off [CXC] when they release them

Anyway, no point posting agony posts asking when a chapter will be out. [CXC] has a whole lot of projects, plus it was just thanksgiving, so just be patient Worth the wait! I think the manga gets even better ch11 onwards

ya well i hope so eagrely waiting for 11... i really want a power evolution thorough... sumios pwer though useful aint that cool... hope sth enticing and really cool comes out ...like Ryu gan in tenjou tenge or like sharingan which tells future move at a blitz and hence it can be actively countered...or idk ...point is hope his current power changes to something uber and useful from just useful

Enigma reminds me Yu-Gi-Oh! manga a little. But Enigma is more mystery and Yu-Gi-Oh! was more dark with great main character duo. Sumio is good character but Atem is another league. Enigma is good so far but I wonder what comes after this Survival arc. I hope quality will not drop.

Yeah... I'm really sorry about this, but Thanksgiving really took a lot of time out of me. The fact that vic doesn't release his raws until Tues/Wed now just exacerbates the situation. It should be released tomorrow.

Just read Chapters 11 and 12,

Yet another interesting power revealed. Kurisu's "Flat" ability is pretty cool, and definently has a lot of uses. We still don't know a lot about him though, but going by his inner monologues he may not have been lying about not being Aru.

Now I'm really curious as to what'll happen next. Looks like Sumio's power might save him again.

Yeah, Kurisu's power Flat is very great. It think it is quite original and it hasn't been used a lot in other stories (I can be wrong though). I also liked it how it progressed faster than I thought. I was afraid that he we going to hide his intentions for longer but eventually he didn't. A fight between the participants is awful since they lose time with it

It's a good thing to come out of the school for some fresh air.
Now Sumio's power has evolved. It seems he can make predictions while being awake and more important they are animated. So, does it mean he can predict Kurisu's moves continuously ? I think it would be a great power up!

Also, this Flat World thing seems kind of fun, if you can just enter a world and do whatever you want.

I liked the two new chapters,mainly because of the interesting power "Flat".Kurisu is also rather entertaining,so I hope he won't be defeated just like that now.

Since its a Jump manga I'm guessing defeat means friendship, which I don't really mind since Kurisu's power would be pretty useful for the gang.

read the chapter 11 and 12... kurisu is quite powerful it seems... though i wonder where the president is...he seem to have suspected kurisu ... though i wonder what the picture is moving means...may be its shigerus power... i suppose it will be a power to move inanimated objects/thing... what do youguys think??
sumio IDK dun seem to be like a shonen hero...usually shone heros are more combat type...IDK dreaming abt the future feels more like what the side kick should do...

動く日記の文は 「9がつ19にち くりすが ぱすわーどを もって そとに でました」 動いた上に眠らず書いた事にスミオビックリ。
日記の絵のパスワード入力装置の表示部には「Q-510」と書かれていく。思わず口に出したスミオにクリス「貴様っ…何故それを!?」
(未来の「動き」を予知する─新しい夢日記だ!!)
スミオ 「こんなことよそうぜっ…もう俺は3つめのパスを知ったのだぞっ！」この世界の外の奴らが知らなければ大丈夫と言うクリス。
スミオ 「そりゃ残念だったな 俺にはこのパスを外に伝える力があるっ!!」
「ばかなっ…」と言うクリスに、信じられんのなら外に行って見て来い、その間に俺は力を使うと言うスミオ。
スミオの言葉はハッタリだが、「吐かせてやるぜ…スミオ…!!」と近くのみやげ屋の木刀を手に取ると真剣に変わる。
「オレの力は『FLAT』…この世界にある物に触れれば使用できるし多少なら変えられる！」 服の袖を斬られるスミオ。
隠れ場所や武器を探すスミオだが、写真のアングルははスミオを追って変化する。
スポーツ店のバットを取ろうとしても動かせず、開いたスーパーの扉に入っても閉められない。
開きかけの扉を蹴り開けるクリス。店の奥に逃げるスミオ。「スーパーマーケットか…庶民的な貴様にはお似合いの場所だぜっ…」
扉を閉めるクリス。それだけで密室になる。「ゴキブリをいぶり出してやるぜ…！」ゲラゲラゲラ
ケガをしたら医者も薬も動かせず治しようがないと焦るスミオ。俺がやられれば次はしげるだと考える。
日記を開き「頼むっ…お前しかいない！」「今までだってヤバい時こそ予知しただろっ！頼むっ…！」
商品を蹴倒し現れるクリス。追い込まれた咲は棚やカゴが山積みになって行き止まりに。
くそっ…ここでやるしかないかっ…!!と自分の人差し指の先を齧るスミオ。
積まれたカゴの上から現れ(どんな手段で外に伝えるか知らないが何もできない体にしてやればいいっ！)とスミオの頭上から飛び降り斬るクリス。
かわしてクリスの顔面を殴るスミオ。「昔の夢日記なら無理だった。。。だが今はわかる！お前が棚の上から現れることもっ…刀を振り下ろす動きもっ…」
日記には刀を振り下ろすクリスの絵に「9がつ19～ くりすが～ たかい ところか～ きりま～」←”～”部分はコマ外
一度避けたくらいで変わらないというクリスに、携帯を取り出し「いいやっ─逆転してみせるぞ!! クリスッ!!」と壁を叩くスミオ。

壁にはでかでかと血で書かれた「Q-510」。「これが俺達の力だっ!! クリスッ!!」

I'd translate it, but I need to sleep. I'll probably do it tomorrow, but here's a short run down of the salient points.

e13. Movement
The images in the dream diary now can move - and it tells Sumio what the password is. It is "Q-510".
Sumio's new power is basically that he can write in his dream diary even when he is awake, and the images now can move and show what is going to happen even further into the future.
Sumio decides that he will bluff Kurisu into thinking that he is able to somehow inform people outside of the flat world about the password using his ability to try and make Kurisu leave the flat world. He runs away from Kurisu who wields a katana which he had transformed from a stick, but Kurisu locks them in a supermarket.
Sumio writes in his dream diary using his own blood and is able to avoid Kurisu's attacks as a result.
Chapter ends with him writing the password on the wall along with "This is our power!! Kurisu!!" after pulling out his cell phone and saying "That's it! I'm turning the tables on you!"

What a great chapter. Sumio is quite powerful now and cunning.
I have no idea of what will happen next : maybe he intends to send the code by sms to Shigeru . Another solution: he could plan to trap him into a picture of the wall (with "Q-510") somehow or other.
