I like the effort you put in but c'mon dude, that list is so wrong but its your opinion and I respect that. Marin Hallow was able to keep up post time skip Gray and Natsu, he needs to be higher. Infact he dodged all of Natsus attacks and considering Brandish taught him that, she can do the same on whole another level.

Wow you're actually a f**king r*t*rd.. Let me help you out, Natsu has the qualities of a dragons like their skin. Did you know that dragons have tough skin?

Well now you know.
Oh really? I had absolutely no idea that dragon skin was tougher than human skin! I really didn't know, thanks for educating me on this! -_-

But seriously dude I fail to see how Natsu having parts of his body identical to that of a dragon's holds any relevance towards what he said. He said that people made of human flesh and blood would get run through with a blade. What does Natsu's dragon body parts have anything to do with that?

On a side note glad to see that you're actually respecting other people's opinions for once.

People should face the fact that Natsu isn't even Spriggan tier at all. He can't even win against Ajeel because he doesn't have anything to counter his Sand World let alone his Sand Body. The same counts for God Serena, Wahl and Jacob. God Serena can spam his Neptune Dragon's Spell (which he can't evaporate), Wahl can create thousands of Weakness robots which he can't counter in a solo fight and Jacob will just oneshot him with Transport. I'm not even going to start about the other Spriggans because it's just too obvious they'll fodderize Natsu :cookiehand.

Though I'd like to come back on this:

So you think Natsu can counter Age Seal just because he can? LOL.

Hold on,it isn't even about fighting Azir alone, look at the context here,Erza was fighting someone who she had the elemental advantage over while Mirajane was fighting TWO people who's teamwork would give anyone difficulty,I honestly think Mira fighting Hynhe and Lunacy is comparable to fighting Azir on Erza's side..
It's the same as the Historias she fought against...Erza was fighting 3 opponents who she knew everything about, even their fighting styles...if she was full health she would have no doubt defeated them all one on 3 combat, but she also had an added advantage in knowing their fighting styles..
Erza's advantages in her fights are less impressive than Mira's disadvantages and winning by herself...
Then there's the added factor that Nakagami Armor won't affect Mirajane Alegria since she's using Curse Power and not magic..
Don't mind them, it's already too obvious she'll slay Erza with Seilah Soul. Mira doesn't even need Alegria Soul to fodderize the Queen of Nakagame.

A knife isn't penetrating Natsu's skin.
Ok let's pretend for a second that the knife did in fact hit Natsu without losing its sharpness from his body heat (which I don't agree with but for the sake of argument let's just assume that it's true for now). The knife didn't pierce Natsu because he has DRAGON skin. DRAGON. Not normal human flesh and blood. DRAGON skin. Therefore this in no way refutes Charging Lightnings argument. Make sense to you now?

I gave the facts that none of the seals could finish him. The nine curses he tried to combo most of it on Gajeel and did little damage. Those are the facts. Calling it a plot hole is an opinion and offends the writer. Plus I gave real evidence to back up my reasoning which made sense. I saw it from both sides of the coin.

Why are you people getting so worked up? Can you all just stop already? You do know that if this continues, the thread could very well be locked permanently and some users might get warned/banned right? So please stop. Everyone here have some good arguments, claims and power-ranks so please don't bash on those.

As for the off-guard thing, August doesn't have terrible durability until proven otherwise. If Gildarts is sleeping and Cana stabs him with a sword, it will kill him too - there's nothing he can do to protect against it. @Woodenstool Don't you think had Brandish and August's places been swapped with the above two, the same could have happened? He won't react because he won't be expecting it.

@atomic_2000, @Woodenstool probably believes in absolute durability, which means that Cana couldn't simply pierce Glidartz's skin in that case because it would be harder than steel.

There's a certain logic behind all things. Even in manga/anime like Fairy Tail, Naruto, One Piece... I'm not gonna talk about Dragon Ball cause it's probably an exception.

In all these mangas there are very powerful characters but when it comes to bladed weapons, skin is still very susceptible. You can have country durability and still be pierced by a sword handled by a mere human.

So, yeah, August's durability is pretty much featless right now. So is his speed for that matter.

You think telling me you haven't found my flaw yet because you can't read my mind isn't arrogant? Not to mention stupid.
I said I can't know what you are thinking so I don't know the exact flaw in your argument (and there certainly was one) don't know how you spun it in any other way.

Now you admit it's durable? If you admitted it why did you keep going? Foolish. You repeated the same thing too. What makes you excused?

That's what I was holding back from. You said you admitted he is durable, but just said I'm wrong. If you admitted it there is nothing more. Case closed. That was debate to begin with, yet I'm still wrong? You make no sense. Or did you mean me being wrong as in how I am
See, you call someone else foolish despite it being your fault that you completely lost track of the argument. You lost my friend.

Being able to block Jupiter is proof of durability. Imagine if anyone else tried that. They might get their arm blown off and the rest of their body too. Taking damage from an attack does not mean durability is thrown aside. An attack that would beat others if it lands, but only damage someone is proof of durability. If a tough guy gets a stone slammed to his head, and he bleeds, but doesn't die, doesn't have brain damage, doesn't get knocked out, that makes him durable. Taking a shot with or without damage still makes it a feat of durability. Being able to take what is dished out is durability. Having a shield or armor of any kind including sand is armor. Defense is the ability to dodge and escape attacks.
I'm well aware. However its not like Makarov no-sold Jupiter, he sustained heavy damage in the area hit and if Jupiter had a larger AoE with the same potency it would have KO'd Makarov without question. Hence the featis not enough to put him above the likes of Laxus, Gajeel and Natsu (current versions).
I'm not arguing about where Makarov fits in. Being able to block the shot bare handed makes him durable. Size helped him a lot. Therefore a giant can withstand more than a regular sized person. Being significantly bigger makes it harder to cause the same kind of effect it would a normal size person when hit with the same attack.

He made the shot look small. If the shot was that small to a regular sized Mage, then yeah they would probably sustain the same amount of damage as Makarov. If I understand how you see it, you are saying Makarov is flesh and bone like anyone else in his titan form and receives as much damage. I see it as Makarov taking the same attacks that normal sized people are taking would be less damaging to him. It takes more power to cause the same damage it would when comparing how titan vs normal size would handle it. A two foot long slash would cut anyone in half. The same attack on a giant would not do the same thing. Makarov didn't just endure the pain, but survived the blast to keep fighting.
You are the one that continued the debate and started talking about how giants are more durable then regular sized people and thus Makarov is most durable due to his size. Which is what I contested. You are not hard to pick apart, polish your arguments, grow up and then you can be arrogant.

Keep in mind that these were some of the earliest posts in the debate, what I have said here and you claim I just said is nothing new, I have said it from the beginning.

@Char Since I'm always watching I noticed that you put Rogue as equal to or better than Sting in another thread, would you mind explaining why? I'm not meaning to be strange or anything, I just can't figure out why Rogue would be better.

You're right, they should be equals. I just had Rogue slightly above Sting after his performance when posessed, but I don't think he has access to that power any longer. Also in the GMG he ranked a little higher than Sting in terms of the battle statistics charts of the GMG (which I know are not too reliable though). He was 5/5 (attack), 4/5 (defense), 6/5 (speed) and 5/5 (intelligence), whereas Sting is his equal in terms of attack/defense, but is slightly slower and less intelligent.

However, I guess they're equals hehe

In as far as portrayal goes Sting and Rogue are equal. However Rogue has a better element. Shadow dragon magic is the deadliest of all the single dragon slayer elements due to how OP shadow body is. Rogue also has a shadow that can take over when things hit the fan, which makes him significantly stronger, although he doesn't have control in that state and we don't know what the requirements are for it to appear. He should still have shadow around him though, if he could harness that power (which he might have done over the time-skip) he gets a dragon force level boost (on top of his own dragon force) since he went from being significantly below base Gajeel in GMG to being well above even GMG Natsu.

I consider Rogue and Sting equal. I think Rogue's more hax. Sting might be able to use PoF a little more though given his personality.

Shadow makes Rogue a different prospect altogether, a solid tier upgrade at least. It's probably why Rogue killed Sting in an ultimate timeline.

Fair points guys, however what about Sting's stigma? The second he gets that on Sting can nuke him. That said the Shadow did bump Rogue up by at least a tier, hopefully it's still around, it would be cool to see that in this arc.

Stigma is no more of a threat to Rogue than DF should be. Not sure though, I've only seen Stigma once. The fight with Mard/Jiemma is the main thing I'm considering here too, when saying that Rogue and Sting are similar.

I do think Shadow left Rogue...

Shadow body should counter that. And there is the possibility that Rogues darkness overrides Stings light stigma similar to how Natsu burned it off.

Sting might be able to use PoF a little more though given his personality.
Dunno about that. Despite his reserved personality, Rogue was the first one to see the error in former Sabertooth ways. The PoF is strong in him.

True, Rogue has always been one with his inner morals (morals > friendship). As for Rogue, I guess he'd also be more powerful due to the fact that he should be able to eat shadows.....

Actually this raises something about Sting, what can he eat? He ate a white arrow in his first appearance and in the spin off he ate a white flower, is it literally anything that's white? Guessing not due to the fact that he didn't eat snow in the North, but still.

I guess so. It's kind of like Natsu and Gray. Natsu is a lot more obvious with his emotions, while Gray is generally more cool/reserved. But when it comes to fighting or the like, Gray is just as passionate as Natsu or close to it. So PoF can be around the same for them.

Sting and Rogue are on the same level, that Shadow that possessed him shouldn't be taken into account when judging each of them individually since it was an external factor, Rogue possessed by the Shadow is stronger than base Gajeel so naturally he would be stronger than Sting..
That's why Rogue was able to kill Sting, because Frosch's death allowed him to be taken over by Shadow thus bringing out his full potential which is obviously>Sting
But base? Both Twin Dragons are equals

Wrong, Natsu has the features of a dragon like dragon skin, lungs, etc. You got melted.I don't state opinions, i state facts.
Natsu's features won't help prevent him being run through by a blade because his skin isn't anywhere near as tough as a Dragon's skin. If it was then he would have the same high resistance to all types of magic that dragons have (which he obviously doesn't have). Try again.

Btw, do you gain anything from acting so condescending all the time? Serious question.
