Erza was severely weakened when the 3 Historias came up against her. You can't really use that as Ur was beaten by Gray and Lyon.
I'm also taking the Historias themselves into account, Ur would defeat the trio of Ikaruga, Azuma and Kyouka quite easily in one on ones so Gray was fighting a tougher opponent than Erza was on the ship, the only reason he didn't even beat Ur earlier was because of emotional leverage.
Mirajane's Alegria is destructive and uses Magic explosions—Erza uses a sword. Come on now. Just going by a small nuke that wiped out mid-tier fodder isn't comparable to fighting an actual Spriggan—even if it was with help. You're kinda grasping here.
Magic explosions...from Tartarus's demons? Demons use Curse Power not magic, Nakagami won't affect Mira in any way, shape or form

She had used Morningstar or Fairy Armor beforehand, but used Nakagami to finish him off. I just checked through.

Ajeel wasn't big time injured—he was sent flying. Amaze. Your logic really amazes me right here.
This doesn't look like AJeel was big time injured to you? Are you joking xD. Look at the right panel before you want to be taken seriously.

Lmao. Did you show that? You just sent him sent through the air. I was too lazy to look back. Shrug guess it did do something. Although, even when characters are all shaded and hurt they've still come back and wrecked shit.

Who said anything about Nakagami or the Curse Power? I just said Mirajane's MP isn't higher just 'cause she does flashy explosions.

Editing this in: Unless Erza isn't able to tank that with Adamantine, then Mirajane's energy is exhausted and she gets wrecked. I'm leaving the Gray thing until we see Gray do anything other than fight fodder.

It's a combination of the attack doing a big heavy damage toward Ajeel, and the fact that he flew off from it as well, which did by in large extension gave Erza the advantage and opportunity to seal it, so clearly Bisca's help wasn't "minor". It was the game breaker.

Sure thing buddy, that's why all of Tartaros was beaten by Demon Slayers, right?:-_-
Demon Slaying isn't even a factor here, Gray was able to wield that magic at a high enough level to injure Mard, if Slaying Magic meant a sure win for anyone who fought their opponent then the GMG Dragons would have all been toast..
The wizard himself also matters in this scenario
Tartarus Gray> Tartarus Erza
I disagree with slaying magic not being a major factor in Gray's performance against Tartarus. The fact that Gray received Silver's magical power alone proves that he received a power-up, and that power-up happens to be a slayer advantage. I don't see Gray doing nearly anywhere as well as he did against Mard Geer if he was using his own magical reserves and doing it with just ice-make.

There are differences between dragons and demons. First of all, dragons are vastly superior to demons. So even with a slayer advantage, it's still much harder to slay a dragon than it is a demon. You can literally be at the level where you can oneshot demons without a devil slaying advantage, and still be unable to land a significant hit against the weakest of dragons with a dragon slayer advantage. Secondly, all dragons are dragon slayers. Dragon Slaying magic originally belonged to the dragons, and it was what they used to kill each other. In this sense, for a dragon fighting a human dragon slayer would be like fighting an extremely weak dragon.

You do not understand this,i mean Erza cant hurt Ajeel with a Nakagami Sword because the Sword have no Water element.
Ajeel with Guard like this:

And Erza cut Ajeel because she use Water power on sword:

But after that you see Ajeel destroy Erza very Easy with SandWorld:

After Jupiter hit Ajeel he sand Guard broken and Erza hit him with Nakagami.
Without Jupiter Erza cant never hit Ajeel you understand??
Erza like a fodder after Ajeel use Sandworld.
In 1on1 fight Ajeel win this fight.

Agreed on all points.

There's probably some strength feats that aren't completely reliant on DeS magic, like how Gray was able to punch Marde's thorns with his ice imbued fists, and release IM Gungnir improvement AOE wise, which is done with his own magical reserves. or how he was able to do a quick one up on Tempesta speed-cast wise.

ofc she is a fodder because Erza doesn't have big enough AoE to disperse his huge Sandworld. put Natsu or Laxus there and they will easily destroy his sand and they would find Ajeel and they would beat the crap out of him.

We don't even know if Water is actually effective on Ajeel. Erza specifically said her sword was capable of hardening sand and if water could've hurt him, Ajeel wouldn't have said 'a sword capable of hurting me'? His Sand Body is what causes his intangibility - he can turn into sand and can turn other objects into sand as well.

What I believe is : Laxus >= Natsu > Erza

I don't know about Gray atm. All he has is speculation and hype and Erza has shown better feats this arc.

Ajeel with Guard like this:
Nakagami is an anti-hax sword basically. She'd be able to hit Ajeel with it regardless of his hax. Erza wouldn't use it early in a fight, because she's defenseless after the armour drains her MP.

If we assume that Nakagami cannot hit Ajeel, then Erza could have easily used Sea Empress sword (water) or Neptunes sword (unless she lost it).

But after that you see Ajeel destroy Erza very Easy with SandWorld:
Ajeel definitely dominates once he uses Sandworld, so I agree. But it's worth noting that Ajeel was pushed this much by Erza.

Simply wielding water wasn't what hurt Ajeel. Ajeel had the ability to turn anything that touches him into sand. Sea God's sword had the power to harden sand. Ajeel is turning portions of the sword into sand, and the sword's magic is hardening the sand. The hardened sand is what cuts Ajeel.
Nakagami Armor doesn't use water, nor does it have the ability to harden sand. However, it has the ability to dispel magic. It's likely that Erza used it to dispel Ajeel's magical ability to turn whatever touches him into sand, allowing her to land a hit with it.

No, there is a clear difference, compare Gray's power on Sun Village when he first used Ice Devil Slaying Magic to beat Doriate and unfreeze the Eternal Flame, back then he wasn't nearly as efficient with it as he was in Tartarus, it's similar to Natsu on Tenrou with LFD and when he used it later on against opponents other than Hades, there's a clear difference in performance between him in Tenrou and in Tartaros..
Gray's mastery of Ice Devil Slaying Magic also comes into play in the fight with Mard Geer, you can't just chuck it down to the magic itself, that's like saying Urano Metria defeating Jackal is because it's that powerful, the mage himself comes into play

Yea sure his own skill comes into play but in your previous post you made it seem as if Gray was tossing Mard around with his skill alone and that the Devil Slaying Magic didn't even factor in at all. And Urano Metria is not an accurate analogy here. Urano Metria didn't have any sort of elemental advantage against Jackal, which means that the ONLY thing that comes into play in that case is Lucy's magic power and skill (and aquarius's power but that's not really relevant here)

Gray was channeling small portions of Silver's power to fight Doriarte. In Tartarus, he received all of Silver's remaining magical power, hence it was more powerful.

Natsu's LFD was strongest on Tenrou because he had nearly all of Laxus' magical power. Lucy had Aquarius' magical power given to her when she cast Urano Metria against Jackal. It was stronger than the version she can normally cast by herself using Gemini. Also, neither Natsu nor Lucy have a magic that is super effective against demons. Gray does.

The entire village was covered in ice, there is nothing like small portions of Silver's power, he was even more of an advantage in the village since he could use the ice in any area, there is more of an advantage in Sun Village than Tartaros whereby he ran a risk of depleting Silver's magical power..
In Sun Village Gray using DeS ice wouldn't do anything to any of the Nine Demon Gates, at all
Channeling that ice in itself is also a skill, that shouldn't be ignored...
Mard Geer was LITERALLY fighting three mages with anti Dragon Magic, which by nature is more destructive than Demon Slaying Magic, Gray is actually the one at a disadvantage here and he still managed to best three Dragon Slayers against Mard Geer, so yes, in Tartarus Gray was stronger than Erza and Natsu...

Urano Metria itself is also a pretty OP technique, don't forget an incomplete one was able to take down Sorano in OS and back then Lucy just used it because Hibiki gave it to her, it's the same thing as DeS in Sun Village and in Tartaros

How would Laxus be > FDKM? It took all of his power to be able to kill Wahl at the end after feeding off of the energy. Natsu without much effort one-shotted Jacob with a Demolition One-Shot (that's what i'm calling it). I'd say at least they're =
Laxus could've low diffed Wahl had he not been immune to lightning. Add to this that Laxus was already injured (or sick) when the battle began (due to MBP). Now that he's healed, give him another spriggan who's not immune to lightning (Ajeel for example) and he low-mid diffs.

Natsu only defeated Jacob because a series of circumstances allowed him to. Lucy outsmarting Jacob, Happy preventing Transport and Makarov throwing them both out of the guild...

While Laxus faced adverse circumstances, Natsu "was illuminated" with advantageous conditions.

So, yeah, Laxus should be solidly above.

@~Charging Lightning~ very nice examples but that user is never gonna concede... Woodenstool is too biased and unwilling to trade arguments.

Gray didn't manipulate anywhere near the entire village's power. He manipulated a small amount of power against Doriarte. It wasn't as if Gray used the power of the whole village into ice. Remember, Gray used the same tactic against Silver as well. In both cases, he redirected a small amount of Silver's magic. Of course its not going to be as powerful as having all of Silver's magical power at his disposal.

Dragon Slaying magic is only stronger than Devil Slaying magic because it has the potential to give the user the power of a dragon, and dragons are stronger than demons in general. This only applies if the dragon slayer meets that potential. During the Tartarus arc, none of the dragon slayers had power-levels comparable to a real dragon. Silver was stronger than Natsu in Tartarus arc, so Gray was probably the strongest person Mard fought in terms of MP. I'm not arguing against the fact that Gray was stronger than Natsu and Erza during Tartarus. I'm saying it was because of the power-up he received from Silver + his devil slaying advantage. If you take away Silver's MP and the devil slaying advantage, Gray wouldn't have done nearly as well against Mard. It's not like a spell like ice-make lance was going to do anywhere near the same amount of damage against Mard that Ice devil's destruction bow did.

I think it times for people to realize and open their eyes that gray only win against mard becoz of the nature of his magic . He is nowhere near defeating that guy if silver didn't give that magic to him . If he use ice make magic he wouldn't have the advantage against mard .

Comparing erza and gray fight against a demon is not that fair IMO .
Exactly.

Comparing Mard Geer vs. Gray and Natsu to Erza vs. Kyouka is foolish, because Gray clearly had the advantage of using magic that was handed to him and specifically created to fight demons, whereas Erza relied on her own power to take down Kyouka, after being stripped of her five senses. Not to mention Natsu and Gray are pretty close in terms of power, so their victory over Mard Geer does not make Gray > Erza, simply because you are basically comparing Silver to Erza.

The fact that Erza is so underrated probably stems from the fact that she has the most haters in Fairy Tail, so I'm not surprised with most of the appalling and baseless arguments I read on this forum (and others).

Can you blame us "Erza haters" though? The amount of asspulls and bs that happens during her fights is completely absurd and honestly she doesn't deserve half the battles she's won.

I honestly don't care if you hate her or love her, so I really don't blame you for anything. And that's beside the point, anyway. The fact is people disregard feats, just to prove that A > B and I'm just saying it's stupid.

Whether Erza's fights are bullshit is irrelevant, because it doesn't make them any less canon. So why disregard facts in the first place? She may not deserve half of the battles she's won, but at least she won them 1v1 and that pretty much speaks for itself.
