Loved the game Mavis had with Yuriy. Reminds me a bit of No Game No Life.

So Mavis is stuck in her 13 year old form? Wonder how that happened. And I thought Zeira died.

A beautiful cover page with sweet little Mavis.

She was as cheerful and forgiving as she could be. It was amazing how the two little kids, Mavis and Zeira of 6 years of age survived all those time on an island.

The game that was played was so tricky. Yury Dreyar was such a naughty guy. But it seemed like Mavis' confidence in winning the game left him sweating out in his pants.

An interesting ending that has left us with guessing on our own till the game continues.

Mavis was, unsurprisingly, a handful. I didn't expect their first interaction to be as opponents, but it fits with FT's manner of doing things. Should be interesting to see how Mavis claims the win.

I thought zeira had died the last chapter. I wonder if there is a chance that there might be something a tad more sinister going on. I don't mean like her being evil or anything but her being effectively dead. Perhaps she is imaginary or perhaps she is a ghost like mavis today. Something else, seeing her current appearance I think we will see mavis die young in the next few chapters. Perhaps the tenrou jade has what we know as the 3 great fairy magics or something and mavis gets a hold of that. On the other hand it is plausible mavis is not properly dead currently.

I was surprised by the fact that Purehito and the others are/were treasure hunters, I wonder how mavis learned how to use magic tho

Considering everything, odds are she picked it up from a book. There are other cases of people learning magic from books and mavis seems to be exceptional and a bookworm herself. There is no one to teach her and I doubt her presence alone would warrant the creation of a guild if she wasn't exceptional.

This is why i love Fairy Tail.

We would never get this kind of background in other manga.

Fairy Tail Zero is very good. I would love to read more chapters about their timeline.

Gray sure keeps getting mixed up in all sorts of things.

I actually like Five Bridge Family's design. They look quite fierce. I wonder how a little Gray would deal with those guys.

Hmm.. hard to believe that Mavis gets to be called "Fairy Commander" and invents the three hidden Fairy Spells in such a short time... There has to be something special about that relic

I think Zeira probably did die. Maybe mavis conjured her spirit with magic, in the same way that all the members of Cait shelter were illusions.

If she isn't an illusion, it seems extremely weird that she wouldn't have joined the other 4 in founding the fairy tail guild.

Well maybe Zeira is the one taking the picture of them founding the guild or maybe Zeira never learned how to use magic.

I wonder if Zeira (Mavis' friend) and Seira Ryôgetsuten (Tartaros demon) are the same person...Seira loves books...and they look quite similar.

Well it could be that it was either mispelled on purpose, or she changed her name somehow.

If it happens, it's now 2 people on Tartaros with connection to FT.

Another possible theory is that Zeira is actually Makarov's mother. Makarov was born 10 years after the guild was founded. Zeira would be 23 or so by that time. Thee reason why Zeira is probably Makarov's mother is because her dad, Jeself looks a lot like Ivan. This would explain why Ivan didn't inherit Yuri's looks, he got his features from his grandmother's side of the family. Specifically, he got it from his great-grandfather.

Yup as we thought, Zeira is probably just a ghost or just Mavis' imagination. That is really sad.

The way she won that game was really like her. Mavis always was a brilliant tactician even as a young girl.
Makes me wonder how she died or if she is dead for real.

FT Zero really is a very interesting spin off.

Mavis looks really cute in casual clothes by the way.

Yeah Yury's reaction pretty much confirm it. During the chapter we saw Zeira several times without Mavis so maybe she is a ghost and doesn't know it, but to be honest when I saw the scene with Yury's reaction I though she was imaginary and not a ghost .

Holy crap Mavis has diferent clothes.

No, this is part of a "tribute art" segment, where other artists draw their version of Mashima's characters. This one is from Akira Hiramoto, the author of Kangoku Gakuen (Prison School).
