Still not that far into Camelot, so I won't read any of the story stuff, but so far I would say it's pretty great. A damn lot of text, but it allows for a richer story and richer characters, too. Loved that scene were Bedivere thinks back on his meeting with Artoria, and how she only smiled for the sake of others but not for herself... :')

But the real reason why I came here... I made one 10-roll and it gave me Lancelot Saber But what I wanted was Nito, so I spend all my remaining tickets, 7 I think... Gave me Serenity and the other new 3*. Still it's not what I wanted, so I was planning to use a few more tickets we got from the shop today. First ticket, no gold signs or anything. But the card turns out to be a gold rider card. I was expecting another Marie or something, but it turned out to be Ozymandias rofl. Third 5* in a row I got through a single ticket, wtf is up with that? It's kind of what I was secretly hoping for after getting Shuten and Raikou that way, but I never thought it would actually happen Guess it's time to save some tickets for the next Jalter banner, apparently I have way more luck there than with normal rolls xD

I kind of stalled out on Camelot after beating Gawain for the second time.

It's not that I can't clear the missions but rather that it makes me want to level some characters a bit more. Stheno and Eurayle in particular. When am I ever going to get another chance for Stheno to be useful? The funny thing is I probably don't need either. I have a friend with an NP3 Orion and a pretty strong overall group. So with 3 command spells I feel like I should be able to clear all of this.

So I'll probably level both to max and possibly skill level Eurayle before I resume.

So far so good with Camelot. I just cleared chapter 14. So I've fought all the knights now a couple times. To be honest I expected them to be harder but I'm glad they weren't at least for my setup.

Hardest for me was probably Gawian. I used 3 command spell to beat his second appearance.

Then Mordred with her NP spamming. Fortunately I have enough servants with a stun to keep her stunlocked long enough to bring her down but it was close.

Tristram was easy for me. Mainly because I knew his weakness beforehand a brought a bunch of Sabers. Raikou wave cleared the lancers and Moedred took care of Triss easily. His attacks don't hit very hard but the hit a lot of times making them perfect to fuel NP spamming against him.

Lancelot I didn't even realize was coming so I went into that one unprepared but Raikou pretty much took him down solo anyway.

That makes her the second 5* i got in the story gacha, and the second I got on a summoning ticket right after waking up (first was iska)

Yeah, he's good but he's a unit I can just slot in from the support pool. My main berserker is Raikou. That's not changing.

I rolled Cavalry. Got Tamamo which is not bad. She is one of my most frequently used units so getting her NP up to 2 is a fine outcome in my book. Would have preferred Sanzang, of course, or a Waiver for team construction purposes. Also drew an Emiya assassin. So I'll throw him on the pile of servants I'll probably never use along with Beowulf, Li Shuwen, and Siegfried.

Well syx and me rolled yesterday, right after the stream. As for me, I ofc got another copy of Ozy Which kind of destroyed my whole happiness of getting him out of a ticket, he was the only one besides Waver/Tamamo I had on that pool and ofc I had to pull him... oh well, that's luck for you, and at least he has a strong NP.

As for syx, he was trying to get Titoria or one of the other females but was "blessed" with Arjuna lol. Looks like lady luck wasn't on our side, maybe next time

Alright friends, I need financial advice. I wanna roll for PSSR gatcha. But at the same time, I don't wanna. Well, reason being I have been earning and saving some money by selling my arts and I managed to make at least 75 $. I did my calculations and came to a conclusion that the cost of 30 sq in my country is 32 $. I wanna spend some money on the game but I am too paranoid about it. Since. I don't know whom to ask this.I think you guys are the best people to ask for help since you have been through this.
Also, I am sorry for @syx and @niichan, also @Jammin Tamamo np2 is best for her if you are f2p since she can overcharge easily.

I don't see any problem with spending money on a game/virtual stuff as long as you have fun with it. The most important thing to consider is to be reasonable. Does your private life and financial condition allow you to spend money on FGO without neglecting the crucial parts of your life, then do it. Otherwise, spend that hard earned money for the more important stuff. But keep in mind that lady luck can be a fickle whore. Don't let bad pulls ruin your days. :3

My advice is firmly budget. Decide well before hand EXACTLY what you can spend from your disposable income and realistically what your spending it on is really worth to you. There is nothing wrong with spending money on a game you like but always remember that gaming is a luxury expense and should be one of your lowest priorities. Especially with gatcha games where you might get something nearly worthless in exchange for it.

What I do is put a yearly budget on myself of $60ish for FGO, which is what a retail game costs where I live, and I stick to that.

One thing that I think you could also take in consideration is the ratio of your money value vs dolar value.

Like, with the price of a SSR Servant in this gacha, with BR Money (Around 160 BRL), I took me, my girlfriend, and a friend of hers to a bar, and we ate:

-1 Onion Ring Plate
-Medium size french fries
-A Hamburger that comes with more french fries
-4 Alchoolic thematic drinks
-10% fee for the waiter

Which is mainly the reason I don´t spend it on Fate. Its not that I dislike it, it just that I value IRL experiences more, at least in the moment.
I have spent some money on games before, it is just that for me, at the moment, Fate´s prices are a bit steep when you take that into consideration

As everyone has already said, take your budget into consideration, and have fun with whatever you like.

Also, take into consideration if you want this to be a one time thing, or if Fate is going to become part of your monthly purchases

I've farmed so much QP and plan to farm so much more. It's funny how sometimes the grind for QP seems just unbearable but other times it's almost fun. Not sure why, it's the exact same thing.

Finally finished Camelot too. totally agree that it was the best singularity by far. The story felt like a real Fate story to me. Where I think the others felt a bit padded at times. There was still a little fluff but not like in other singularities. The plot was always moving forward.

My favorite characters narrative wise were Sanzang and Mash. But all the Hassans, Arash, and Bedivere got to put up a good showing too.

A few Mash moments in there were genuinely moving too Like when she is first revealed as Galahad, when she basically attacked Lancelot, and her true NP reveal. Surprised how entertaining the Hassans can be too. They were never characters I cared much about but they definitely had some great moments.

The bosses were challenging but not ridiculously so. People were right about Euryale though. She was worth leveling up just to see the ass beating she layed down down on Gawain. She actually out damaged the support Orion I was using that was at NP3.

Worst for me were probably either Ozy x3 or the final Titoria one.

I had lady luck on my side.
Ozy never used his "Heal 100k" skill against me.

I am farming loads of embers to level up Ozy and Jeanne, and even some other servants that I like and that have gotten STR Quests (mostly for the free Quartz), like Lu Bu and Shakespeare.

However, after thursday (where I have to farm golden rider statues, I could swear I had them for Ozy and Jeanne), I do plan on farming lots of QP.

Also am eagerly awaiting the second banner. Squirtoria is obviously amazing but the one I really want is Martha Ruler. And even Marie would be great. Then there is Scathach. In a swimsuit... Also as somebody with no decent AOE assassin's she's going to be pretty useful for farming.

The event shop doesn't have much I want. And won't be much good to me unless I pull one of those servants though. And we all know how that goes.
